I'm not a breakfast/brunch girl however, my friends wanted to have brunch here. We had a 20 min wait but it's Easter so no issues. I ordered the Tri-Fecta that came with eggs, sub/biscuit, potatoes, and bacon. First off they give you a lot of food. I didn't come close to finishing. Everything was fresh and definitely homemade. I wish my biscuit was fluffy instead of toasted but other than that I have zero complaints. Really nice breakfast/brunch spot.

Look here my husband is not the biggest fan of healthy eating . But he said first watch was really good . So if he likes it . I feel like anyone would . Service was great ! Nice to know we have a healthy place we both like and enjoy .

The Works Omelette

This yummy place is only open until 2:00 so the menu is breakfast item heavy. We've eaten at several locations so this time I decided to try something I hadn't yet It was chilly outside so something warm sounded comforting. I chose The Works omelette. Delicious flavor and ample portion. Comes with a lightly dressed spring mix salad and their really great whole grain artisan bread toasted. This location is a little loud and not very cozy. The open kitchen makes a lot of ruckus in a big glass enclosed room full of hard surfaces It is not a place for intimate conversation but it is tasty Service was good and I enjoyed the water bottle and coffee pot left on the table.

Proof of purchase!

Disappointing to say the least. I've been to First Watch in Sarasota, Florida and loved it. When they started opening the restaurants here in Dallas, I was very excited! I ordered the Trifecta, eggs over easy, Belgian waffle with strawberries, pork sausage link. When I cut one egg it was fine. The other egg was so runny I had to take my paper napkin and fence off the watery run off, so my waffle wouldn't soak it up. I ate only part of one egg. The waffle was soft and tasteless. For almost $20 this was an expensive and very disappointing breakfast. Will not return. PS: while I was waiting for my check, another patron, setting behind me had issues with her breakfast also. Not a good sign

Carnitas breakfast burrito (winter seasonal)

I dont tend to review chains but I had a great experience here today! Pretty much I never come here unless my friends want to, as I've always been disappointed at all the locations I've been too. Service is usually slow, food has been cold and not that good, not worth any wait. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at this location! My service was excellent! Everyone was very friendly and my food and coffee came out very quickly. The carnitas breakfast burrito was HUGE and really tasty! I hope it makes its way to the regular menu since it's a seasonal option. If my friends want First Watch again, I'll for sure suggest this location. Definitely the best run First Watch I've been to!

Oh Yea. This is our "go-to" breakfast spot. They have all the staples, grits, pancakes, and more. The "million dollar bacon " is a must try.

My bestie recommended this restaurant, so we decided to check it out with a party of three around 7…read morep.m. We did make a reservation, which turned out to be a great idea because it was fairly busy when we arrived and most of the tables were already full. Thanks to the reservation, we were seated right away and immediately greeted by our server, who was honestly amazing from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. We kicked things off with drinks. I started with an espresso martini, and it was really, really good--smooth, balanced, and exactly what I was hoping for. For my second drink, I tried the smoked Old Fashioned from their holiday menu. It was good, but I'll be honest, it was extremely strong. Like, really strong. In general, their drinks definitely pack a punch, so that's something to keep in mind when ordering. For my entrée, I ordered the Mediterranean smoked chicken salad, and wow. It was hands down one of the best salads I've ever had in my life. Everything was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and satisfying, and it didn't feel like a "boring" salad at all. It was so good that I already know I'll be coming back specifically for that dish, though I'm also curious to try more of the menu next time. Overall, this place absolutely lived up to the recommendation. Great service, strong drinks, and standout food. I'll definitely be back.

Thirsty Lion delivers a clean, spacious gastropub atmosphere that makes it a great spot to relax,…read moregrab a drink, and enjoy a solid meal. The layout feels open and comfortable, and the overall vibe is upbeat without being overwhelming. That said, service on arrival could use some attention. There was a noticeable gap at the host stand with several guests waiting and no staff in sight, which set a slightly off first impression. Once seated, though, the experience improved. Ally at the bar stood out right away. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming, she helped turn the visit around and made the experience feel more personal. She did come back to check in later, which was appreciated and helped round out the service. On the food and drink side, they carry Manhattan Project Beer Company's Half-Life, which is a big win and pairs exceptionally well with the French dip. The sandwich itself is flavorful and satisfying. The fries were a bit on the softer side, so if you prefer them crispy, I'd definitely recommend asking for them extra crispy when ordering. Overall, Thirsty Lion has a lot going for it. Great atmosphere, solid menu, and standout staff like Ally. With a little more consistency at the front of house, this place easily moves from good to great.

Fancy spot! You wouldn't mind if I review it, would you? Eating out in Dallas can get really…read moreexpensive, really quick. Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

Found this restaurant here on Yelp as we were looking for something close to American Airlines to…read moreget a good meal. Loved everything about our waiter Kev. Knowledgeable about the menu & great recommendations. Kev was a joy to have as our server. The food is amazing & love the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint...we came in early Saturday prior to Stars game. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked if we had a reservation. We did not, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!
