I went to First Watch yesterday with friends. I got a hot english breakfast tea. I like that they use an organic brand. I also ordered the Farmhouse Hash. It had potatoes on the bottom and then onions, tomatoes, cheese, bacon, avocado, and eggs on top. I enjoyed it. It is served with toast and local preserves. The local preserves is a nice touch. I came here because I was close by and the pictures from other reviews looked amazing. I was pleased by how different, fresh, healthy and interesting their dishes sounded. I decided on the chickachanga which is a spin on a chimichanga but stuffed with chicken, onions, eggs, chorizo, avocado, Monterey Jack and green chilies. I would not typically be this adventurous with my breakfast foods but I was glad that went outside my comfort zone. This was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. I came here with my best friend Nick. He suggested this place. Man this place has some fantastic food to eat especially for breakfast. I would suggest this place hands down. I had the Belgian waffle with bacon and sunny side eggs up and large Oj. Everything was on point. They sat us immediately. They gave up drinks quickly, and served our food within a reasonable time. The seats were comfortable to sit at especially for me with a tailbone injury. Plus the server was super nice and sweet. She kept checking on us and making sure especially after our food was out that everything was up to par. The place was very clean, quiet and just a pleasant place to have some breakfast at. I never knew this place existed until my best friend said something about meeting here. I was so glad I did, because I am definitely going to come here more often just because of the experience I had here at First watch. The restaurant is always clean and the staff are very attentive. The food is also consistent as far as overall quality. You can eat in or do carry-out. My wife and I went here 3 July 2021. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The server brought me Eggs Benedict with ham. He took apologized and took it back. Brought back Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. First bite I took there was ham on it. So they took my plate back. Scraped the ham off(didn't quite get it all off) and then replaced the ham with salmon. I again informed the server he said I will take it off of your bill took the plate and left. He returned about 5 minutes later with a cookie and a rice crispy treat and said this is for your troubles. I wanted my correct dish I ordered. He did not replace the dish. So I ended up not eating anything. Unbelievable. Food looked delicious but I wouldn't know. Poor customer service. read more

I love this place and it's walking distance for us. They were great before about being added to the wait list and getting seated when you show up -- now horrible. Last time we put our time in when arrive (which was the 45 min wait online) and waited an extra 45 mins on top of that and watched multiple people walk-in get seated. When we asked we kept getting you're next. After our 30 min waitlist check-in online this time (which online waitlist said 20-30 min wait) told another 20. I honestly think the online waitlist check-in is worthless now. We'll look at other local options until it gets better. read more

My son had a giant chocolate chip pancake and I had classic eggs benny. Honestly, only real negative was post-meal service. There was a very long line to wait to pay, which is ridiculous, IMO, but luckily I had cash and just left it in the table and we could get out. They should have the servers take care of collecting payment. Things would run smoother. First time in Columbus, so who knows if we'll ever be back, but definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. read more

I usually love first watch but I was so disappointed in the staff today that I felt the need to write this out; I get first watch usually once a week and have the exact same order ever time. I always get the avocado toast with over easy eggs and its always delicious. Today I ordered the same thing to go from this location and the eggs were over done completely as you can see in the photo, I didn't have time to come in and get new eggs that was the whole point in me ordering to go, so I called the store to see if there was anything they could do since my food wasn't made right and who ever picked up was extremely rude. I expressed what was wrong with the order and that the eggs always came over easy every time I had gotten it previously to which they responded I was wrong and the eggs came basted. Basted means cooked in fat. They are marketed as over medium or easy. Not fried and inedible. They then told me they could try to refund me and when I asked about sending an email confirmation they hung up the phone. I don't care if your having a bad day or not, I work really hard for my money and it takes five seconds for you to click a button find my order and refund me or offer to remake it when I can come in to pick it up. I'm not one to be an ass about this type of stuff but the fact that I haven't received any refunds, and the way that phone call was handled I'll absolutely never return to this first watch again. Its pretty much expected that the restaurants in this area have a higher quality in foods and I'm really disappointed that the order was handled like this and that the mistake was already on there end of things so for them to be rude to me was really insulting. read more

There's a "fresh juice bar" menu that sounds hippy dippy, but the "morning meditation" juice with orange, lemon, tumeric, ginger, and beet looks like a tequila sunrise, but healthier. Tasty! There are also rotating seasonal specials -- husband spent way too long trying to decide between the various options, all sounded that tasty. He tried the pot roast hash which was tender and flavorful and hearty. My favorite is the avocado toast, with loads of avocado and olive oil and sea salt, on this toast that is filling and flavorful but not dense. I just want more of that toast!
