Pro: Superior breakfast and brunch! This is one of those places that you go to cheat on your diet, sustain your diet, celebrate a small victory, lament a defeat...whatever! You don't need an excuse to go to First Watch except hunger! The standard menu is packed with options, but the additional seasonal menu only sweetens the deal. I've had the Steak & Hash (seasonal item) and the Floridian French Toast. Both were simply decadent! Con: This place can AND WILL get packed quickly! If possible, use the "Join Waiting List" option and save yourself a little bit of time. Bottom Line: This is an amazing breakfast haven! Don't hesitate; go today! read more

This is the third time we come to this place, and is the most disappointing visit. The first time the quality and quantity of the food was on point, as well as the service. Today we had to wait approximately 1.5hrs to be sitted because the kitchen was running behind. We tried to understand and be patient as it is a Sunday at lunch time. We get sitted and the waitress serves us water and no straws. When I ask, they have ran out of straws. Fine, we get our coffee and again I remind you this is not our first visit, this coffee so strong and a lot more bitter than expected and I love coffee but I had to use 3 creamers to tone down the flavor. We ordered two Trifectas which consist of eggs, meat and waffle or pancake and this costs ~$11. I was served a tiny portion of eggs, small pieces of sausage links and a somewhat "medium sized" waffle. My boyfriend asked for the same with the chocolate chip pancakes and the million dollar bacon (p.s. sorry we didn't post a photo but after waiting ~2hrs we were starving). His pancake was almost as flat as paper and super small. We had to order an additional pancake which was actually the advertised sized. Keep in mind this additional pancake cost us ~$6 and you are telling me that what we got that wasn't even half of this pancake plus eggs and bacon should cost us $11?! Again the portions of eggs and meat were small. Also we decided to try their famous million dollar bacon and honestly for what they advertised, it's not worth the high price. It was indeed good but not like to die for good and I have definitely had better regular bacon. Our overall visit today was super disappointing but I will say this the quality taste of the food is really good and that is why I'm still giving the 3 stars even though our experience today was bad. read more

Seriously, how is this place successful? Food is mediocre at best. Ordered a waffle and 45 minutes later it came out cold. The million dollar bacon is tiny and tastes like pepper. This place sucks! Servers should never argue with a customer and to tell me the kitchen is open somehow justifies the food being terrible....pathetic. read more

Overall service was good. Definitely recommend going online and joint the waiting list otherwise your wait is over an hour. My husband ordered turkey sausage gravy (too much black pepper) and I order the elevated egg sandwich. Our food was luke warm instead of freshly hot cooked food. Definitely could be better. Coffee and orange juice were the highlight of the whole morning. read more

It's cool to have a brunch specific place in town, and I was really excited to try it out. I've been there a few times now, and gotta day unfortunately it doesn't really live up to my expectations. The atmosphere is enjoyable and I really wanted it to be good, but the meals are just Alright. Nothing bad in anyway, but nothing that I would crave again in the future. They've got some potential, it's just not quite there yet in my opinion. Also I don't like that I need to use their specific app to make a reservation. I'd prefer to just call and make it. And don't fall for the million dollar bacon, it's not worth it. read more

My family used to be Turning Point people, but First Watch's technology, service, and food have converted us. First off, we like the updated reservation times online and on Yelp. My brother has the app too. As with any brunch place in the area, we still have a little bit of a wait sometimes especially after 10:30am on the weekends. The food here is so good. None of us have ever had anything bad! Well, I didn't particularly care for the million dollar bacon, but I don't like sweets. We all love the rotating seasonal menu. During our recent visit, we loved the short rib benedict, and my brother like his mushroom frittata. My favorite thing has to be their potatoes though. I love how they are soft in the middle with a charred crust on the outside. So naturally, the skillets are a nice choice - very filling. Another main I like is the chickichanga, but it's deep-fried tortilla with chicken and chorizo, so I'll only allow myself to eat it once in a while. On the healthier side, I like to get the smoked salmon omelet with feta instead of parmesan + cream drizzle. Love how you can get a side salad with any of your meals! My family also loves the fresh juices for a healthy vitamin-packed option. read more

We enjoyed what we ordered lobster and poached eggs sandwiches and they were very delicious!

This place has become one of our favorite breakfast spots after just one visit. Came on a weekend and you will definitely benefit using the call ahead seating through their app. We live about half an hour away and was able to be seated immediately for a table of 4. The outside was packed with people waiting to get in. The place itself isn't very big but they do have outside seating. Service was great. Menu had amazing options and the food was awesome! Me, the hubby and the kids all enjoyed the food. Pricing was fair for the quality. Just the fact they had flavored creamers at the table for coffee was a nice touch! We started with the million dollar bacon. It was pretty good, but you only get 4 slices. I liked it a lot (but my kids say I make a better version). I ordered the Asian Pork Belly breakfast bowl. One of the most delicious breakfasts I've had out. Perfect spice level. Hubby had an avocado omelette cooked perfectly. It came with a side of toast and he chose potatoes as the other side. Potatoes were a smaller, but just enough portion. Kids got basic waffles and bacon and eggs but looked "fancier" than from a diner. Ambience was cool, just a little loud since it was so busy. Place reminded me of something designed by Joanna & Chip Gaines. Definitely recommend this place! read more

We waited 35 minutes to be seated (quoted a 25-30 minute wait). Our simple lunch order took 30 minutes to fill. During this time, our server was nowhere to be seen, with the exception of dropping a refill 10 minutes into our wait time. The food was okay, but the service and wait times were completely unacceptable. We won't be returning. read more

A group of us were at the Sewell restaurant on Monday and had the best time. The food was very good, as always and everyone like what they ordered. Everyone is so nice. It's also nice to see a manager walking around an talking and checking on his guests in this day and age. I want to say he said his name was Doug but not sure. We all love coming here. read more

I've been coming here way too much lately. We needed a good local breakfast brunch spot and first watch did it! Turning point is terrible and the food tastes just like diner quality. First watch on the other hand has fresh blended juices. I love the kale tonic. There's gotta be some sugar added because there's no way drinking kale is that delicious! Either way, it's my go to drink every time. Their avocado toast is heavenly. Multigrain toast covered in a thick layer of fresh avocado and 2 eggs on the side. The trifecta is also a great choice. I've tried their waffles and pancakes. Both multigrain but taste even better than regular waffles. This place tends to get pretty busy on weekends so I usually check in online first. I highly recommend this place. Two thumbs up! read more

A long wait, but the food was worth it. There is one SMALL communal table that is first-come, first-served. Our waitress was very calm and pleasant and competently wrote down our order which was made correctly. The wait for food was over 20 minutes. The biggest issue? Waiting in a LONG LINE to lay for our meal. They should have portable, WiFi connected card readers to do the job at the table itself as they do throughout Canada. I'll be back at some point, but I'd like to see the ridiculous checkout procedure corrected. read more

Omg sooo good! A lot of mostly heathy options but even for someone who doesn't eat like that, often, it's amazing. I had the multigrain pancakes because they don't have regular pancakes but I swear they're not what you think. Taste so good and way better than most pancakes I've had anywhere else. Great brunch spot! Prices are pretty reasonable, and the food is great. My favorite is the Elevated Egg Sandwich. Decided to go here for my daughter's birthday and well for the atmosphere we expected better. So even before the food came we met our waitress who's name we never knew because she never introduced herself. As we were giving her our food order with some customizations, I said to her wow you will remember all this without a note pad and she says "I don't need that, this is my job" and I was well ok. So our food comes and one of our guest order is completely messed up. Theres added items, items she asked to remove and things not changed. Waitress was told what happened and she kind of giggled and said sorry and walked away. She never checked on us, was reaching over people's plates, and was just rude. I really had high hopes for this place and she ruined it. read more

Food: the food here is great! I love that there are so many healthy options. The veg omelette is filled with fresh veggies, goat cheese, and sweet shallots. It's delicious and I love that it comes with a salad. You can ask for potatoes instead - which are delish too. The coffee is better than most of these kinds of restaurants in the area. And I like that they leave the coffee carafe on the table so you don't have to keep asking for refills. The maple syrup comes in a warm bottle if you order pancakes. They include all the classic breakfast options, too. So there's something for everyone. But I'm just appreciative of a place that has so many options for vegetarians or those wanting to eat a bit healthier. For anyone worried about the wait, download their free app and check in before you go. You almost get seated immediately that way. Suggested changes: I'm not going to hammer you for the service issues I've experienced so far because you're so new. I know that takes time and I assume (or hope) you're continuing to train and manage the service staff. I really think you need to implement a water policy. I've been here 4 times since you opened and no one brings water. When you ask and they finally do, they bring a tiny little glass milk jug that you have to keep asking to refill. Servers should bring it automatically and someone in the front of the house should be going around to replace empty ones on their down time. I agree with the other commenters about the creamer choices and table clutter. You seem to take such care with other healthy options - let's bring in some non-chemically laden creamer and non-dairy milk alternatives, like oat or coconut. Good things take time. I'm willing to wait and am glad you are in the area. This area sorely needs some updated breakfast options. Thank you! read more

I would love to give this new place a better rating because their food really is good... but being a place that just opened, they've got a lot of kinks to work out. With any new place, waiting is definitely expected. So I went with my husband knowing we were going to wait for a bit. And judging by how packed the parking lot was, we were prepared. So this rating has nothing to do with the wait time. Service So this is the reason for the 3 star rating from me. When I checked in with the hostess, you check in using your name and phone number. She had trouble inputting my number for some reason, I don't even know why. I mean my area code is from out of town, but I couldn't have been the first person she encountered that had a different area code. It was so packed in the waiting area, we waited outside. She told us wait time was around 23 minutes. Ok cool. 30 minutes passed so I just went in to just see how many people were ahead of us. Ok cool, 2 were ahead of us. We decided to wait right inside the initial entrance but not all the way inside if that makes any sense since we knew we were close. Well about 10 minutes later, I hear "last call for Melanie" and I walked in really fast (maybe I ran haha I don't know) but I said I didn't hear a first call. And she said, "Well good thing you were inside". No text no nothing. And no it was not funny and you should not have been joking because you didn't know how to put my phone number in your own tablet. So that didn't give me a great impression to begin with. For the rest of the service, my server and some of the other people working there just looked lost. Either they were tired, confused or just not excited to be there, it showed. Our server came to us, never got her name because she didn't introduce herself and the first thing she said "oh let me get you fresh coffee" when we didn't order it. I didn't stop her because I wanted it but still, seemed like she meant to say that to another table she had already helped. We were a little confused. Food The saving grace was the food! It was really good. So I think once they're past them hopefully working out some of their kinks, I'll return because I'm always in the area. But I got the Market Skillet Hash and my husband got the Farmhouse Skillet Hash. That meal came with a side of toast and fruit. I only wished that my potatoes were cooked a little bit more done, as I prefer it more on the crispy side. The flavors were great tho! The food did not take long to come out at all. Also, you have to try their coffee. The flavor was really good... and come to think of it, I should have bought a bag to go as they do sell it at the counter! The only other thing I can think of that was awkward was that the tables were so small. With the coffee pot, glasses of water, coffee mug, bowl of creamer, sugar packets, utensils and a little promo sign for their juice, there was not much room on the table. It felt really cramped and I was easily knocking stuff over. Overall, newer establishment, so they've got some things to improve on. The food is really great. I would definitely come back, probably later down the line when it's not as crowded. read more

So many options on the menu it was hard to choose. I was eyeing someone else's pancakes at another table, they looked delicious, but I was not at all disappointed with the farmhouse hash I ordered! We decided to get breakfast at turning point today. They don't take reservations but they do have virtual que which I love. Reminds me of fast pass or the virtual line for Rise of the Resistance. The place is clean and well spaced out. They had tables outside but they were all full so we opted for inside. The food we really enjoyed. The bacon was cooked perfectly and crispy, my wife's scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly and her waffle was very good too. The breakfast potatoes were delicious, and well seasoned. I had eggs Benedict Florentine. The eggs were great and the tomato, avocado and spinach were so fresh. The ciabatta it was served in was good too. Disclaimer: This is solely my opinion based on my experience. 1. WAIT TIME: I arrived to restaurant along with 5 other people at 12:30pm.Wait time was one hour, which was not bad due to an app they have, which allows you to get in line prior to arriving ar the restaurant. 2. HOSTESS: He was a little standoffish. I didn't get that welcome feeling when checking in. He had a very condescending tone. It was the first time we have been to this restaurant. This was not a great start. First impression.. was very iffy at this point 3. WAITER: Did not introduce herself and did not greet the table. Kept slamming things on the table. Staff overall was not too friendly..ummm 4. WAIT TIME ON FOOD: Fair, wont complain about that considering how busy they were 5. ATMOSPHERE (in and out): Parking lot Small and limited. Had to park in the parking lot next door and walk over. Inside was average, casual, clean. Won't complain. 6. FOOD TASTE/QUALITY: Presentation of food good. Within the people at the table, we all voted the food was average. Nothing I would rave or crave. Grits were not good. Taste like there was cornmeal in it. 7. CHECK OUT PROCESS: The waiting area was so crowded with people coming in and then people waiting to pay to leave. The line to pay was getting long where I found myself standing next to people eating at their table. I recommend the waiter taking the check at the table. 8. WOULD I RECOMMEND: It would not be my top places to recommend. 9. WOULD I GO BACK: Not by choice, but would if others wanted to go. read more

My friend Kristin and I are here for the second time to try the food! The restaurant was full but we were sat in minutes. We were promptly greeted by Jay, who is a vibrant and informative server. The coffee seemed fresh, with a touch of acidity but still good. We ordered the Million Dollar Bacon and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes to share. Kristin ordered the Chickichanga and I ordered the Elevated Breakfast Sandwich. The Million Dollar Bacon came out worth a Billion. This dish has the perfect amount of candsweetness and crispness, and finishes off with a kick of heat left in the back of your throat. The flavor profile was PERFECTION!! The Lemon Ricotta Cakes speak for themselves and don't need much description. The aroma of the lemon topping was pungent and fresh and the cakes were fluffy and decadent. We will most definitely order these pancakes again! The Chickichanga left a little bit to be desired. We expected a slight heat and more of a kick. Kristin had expected a more authentic Mexican taste, where the dish tasted more like a rolled omelette. The Elevated Breakfast sandwich was light and nice to eat. The arugula was fresh and not overpowering. Overall amazing. We will be back. The bacon alone is enough to come back! The atmosphere of bed and breakfast/ family farm is comforting and welcoming. UPDATE: keep having worse and worse experiences here. Took one star off the rating because I want to give them a chance. Coffee has been tasting awful lately and I ordered a Togo order today and it was packaged a mess and the wrap was wet and falling apart. read more

Suggested this place after seeing ads on Facebook to my boyfriend who wanted, no, needed a breakfast sandwich. Needless to say, he did not get a breakfast sandwich but thoroughly enjoyed his FarmHouse Hash. I, on the other hand, had the best chicken salad i've ever eaten in my entire life. Our waitress, who's name I cannot remember, was super sweet and attentive to our table! Even suggested fresh squeezed juices, that they squeeze every morning (or so she said). The BF has the Kale Tonic which I really enjoyed and I had a new drink that was like the NJ version of celery juice. My body felt so healthy for the rest of the day. We will definitely be back! read more

Definitely download their app and use the waitlist function so you don't have to wait in the massive crowd at the front. It's almost always really crowded, I think mostly because they close 2:30-3pm. The most difficult part of my visit here was trying to find parking! Luckily, someone pulled out of spot for me to sneak on in and it wasn't a problem. I went inside to put in my name for my group of 4 and I was told that the wait would be 20 - 30 minutes. Since there wasn't much room to wait inside the building, I sat out in my car for my friends to arrive and then I got a text just 5 minutes later that our table was ready! That was super quick, so that was a nice surprise. The staff was very friendly as well. We went for brunch on a Saturday morning. It was so hard to choose what to order since the whole menu looked delicious! I ended up ordering the Florentine Eggs Benedict, which was so good. Next time I go, I'll probably want to try something different, because now I want to try everything! My friends really enjoyed their pancakes (which was one big super pancake for each of their meals!). The inside is really cute and just a little noisy since it's so open, but it really is a great location to get brunch with friends. I'll definitely go back. read more

Most of the reviews on here have issues with the wait time. There was a wait but nothing more than what they said. Service and staff were friendly. We have been to several other First Watch locations. We always get the same dishes; avocado toast, AM superfoods bowl, million dollar bacon, power breakfast quinoa bowl and Kale tonic juice. Everything was great as usual but the only issue I had was with the coconut milk chia seed pudding in the AM superfoods bowl. It was more of a clump than a milk base. It still tasted great nonetheless. Will be returning as this will be our go to brunch spot. read more

I ordered for pickup/takeout using the First Watch mobile app. The order was placed on 4/19 @ 10:28. The confirmation indicated that the order would be ready for pickup at 10:48. I arrived at the restaurant earlier than 10:48. I was hoping perhaps my order would be ready at the pickup counter. It wasn't, so I didn't mind waiting until 10:48 for my order. My promised pickup time came and went without any sign of my order anywhere. Although the hostess initially asked if I was waiting for a table, she never bothered to inquire further even though I was in the waiting area for close to 30 minutes. The designated "mobile order" waitress appeared from the kitchen from time to time with orders for pickup, but never mine. Then it completely stopped. I saw all the waitressing staff just standing around in the kitchen with no activity. At which point I realized no one was working on my order or if they even knew about my order. I inquired about the status of my order with the hostess. At this point, it was close to 15-20 minutes past the promised pickup time. She went to the kitchen area. From my observation, it looked to be that they were looking for my order and at which point hurried to start the order. This took another 5-10 minutes. When she finally came out with the order. No apology or anything. The hostess just simply stated that all the items should be in the bag. I had to ask her what was the problem. She told me that when they are busy, they do not prioritize pickup orders and they do not work on them. So it's best not to do pickup orders. First Watch proudly advertises the convenience of mobile ordering to avoid waiting, yet I had to wait anyway. On top of that, I had to find out that First Watch doesn't really honor mobile orders for pickup. Additionally, First Watch doesn't seem to want to admit fault when failing to fulfill what was promised. Please retrain staff and review workflow. read more
