The Quality of the Food is great . Food made fresh upon request. Large menu to choose from and fast service with a smile. Sign outside let customers know you there. The Restaurant is Very clean and the Service is Excellent.
This was my first time at First Watch. I was not disappointed. The food wasn't out of this world good but it was good. For me, the service was the best. Apparently my pops has been there a few times because he remembered our server and he remembered my dad however, I don't think he did remember Pops but he made my dad feel like he remembered him and that is a good skill. The server was very helpful with picking items off the menu and all of his selections seemed to have been good. I liked mine but I probably won't get the waffle again but not because it wasn't good but I used to love waffles but I've moved on to french toast. That beet juice was interesting but tasted very healthy which doesn't mean it didn't taste good. It just wasn't sweet but it was good and it felt like it did something good for my system. We sat right outside of the kitchen so we did get to see all of the plates come out which is what I like to do so I can get inspired if I need some help finding something to eat but the server took care of that for us. I've been to another since and although the service and food was good, this guy was better.
A great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Parking lot is big. We were seated quickly. The hostess was very nice. Our server was friendly and professional. She gave us time to look at the menu and also gave us time to sit and chat after the meal. The menu has a good variety for breakfast and lunch. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes. It came with lemon curd and strawberries. They were delicious. My friend had the fall special with a pumpkin pancakes, eggs and sausage. She also thought it was delicious! The server offered tea refills too. The space is open with a semi open kitchen. It is similar to an old school diner.
Pumpkin pancake was so good ! Served with warm syrup. I like that they give you the whole bottle of warm syrup to use as much or as little as you want. Chicken sausage was amazing. Avocado chicken arugula salad was great as well. Service has been ok those times that I visit. But when it's busy, the staff can get snippy and cut you off as they're trying to juggle too many tasks. Understandable, I would be stressed too if overworked. But it does decrease the enjoyability of the dining experience. I would suggest management beef up the staff coverage during rush hours
Okaaay, listen up--First Watch just changed my whole fall vibe. I went in for brunch and got the pumpkin spice pancakes, and I swear to God they were like autumn hugging me in the mouth. Soft, fluffy, all warm and cozy, with that perfect spice that makes you wanna throw on Uggs and scream "it's pumpkin season, baby!" The place itself is mad cute--bright, chill, and def not like the Shore house after a night out. The staff was on point, super nice, and kept my coffee cup full like they knew I needed it to survive. Between the vibes, the food, and those pumpkin spice pancakes, First Watch is officially my new obsession. Like, I might move in. GTL? Nah, it's PSL now--Pumpkin Spice Life.
I really liked this place up until now, I couldn't believe what happened to me on this round: Ordered one coffee, which back in the day they give a jug per cup to continue pouring into, we got charged 3 coffees... Omelette came out looking like a pancake sandwiching undercooked veggies. The sun-dried tomatoes looked a bit genetically modified.. I don't know but the eggs tasted like card board and was hard to chew. Asked for a different order but also got the different order wrong. Maybe it was just a bad day for someone. Completely understand. I'll still come back and check it out in the future, hopefully it'll be better then.
Overall, I am a fan of First Watch. I do think they are a little overpriced at times, but they do brunch well and the portions are done well. This location is no exception. Visiting from Florida, this place seemed smaller than the ones in Orlando, seating wise. They were just as busy as Orlando locations as well, but since it was a rainy day, all the outdoor seating was not being utilized. Our party of 4 was seated with not much of a wait, and the server was attentive and friendly. I ordered the seasonal steak hash and my fiance ordered some potatoes and toast. The steak hash was just enough food and quite delicious. It came with this ciabatta roll that was toasted with cheese that I was not much a fan of. I would've preferred some toast. My fiance got a hefty amount of potatoes for his side order and I snacked on some. He said the server could've stopped by a little more to see how we doing, but the place was quite busy.
Very busy on a Tuesday for brunch. We ordered the seasonal entrees: Million dollar breakfast sandwich and honey bacon Brussels hash. I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich a lot. The honey balanced out the salty flavors. The arugula in the sandwich helped cut some of the fat. I liked that I kept the bacon on the side. My sandwich came with either potatoes, salad or toast. The potatoes were cooked and seasoned perfectly.
My son and I played hooky and went for breakfast. We both have some food allergies and had to make some changes. I asked to make own breakfast sandwich and was told we couldn't but then she remembered that they did serve English muffins so she let us. We asked for his potatoes with no onions but it came with onions so he didn't eat them. He loved the pancake though. I had the eggs Benedict. It wasn't creamy and was very lemony. I guess if you prefer it light you may prefer it that way but I prefer it less lemony and more creamy and I wasn't a fan of the ham they used at all. I would go back to try something else on the menu though.
What a delightful find. On a road trip we made a special side trip due to reviews & it was fantastic. Clean place, quick service and perfectly seasoned food. Large selection and all five menu items did not disappoint. The portions are large and even though my eyes were bigger than my stomach I managed to finish every last bite.
Sandwich was good. I'd hope so for a $14.00 egg sandwich. Got the side-eye when I didn't tip on takeout. But $.50 for packaging supplies on top? Spend it wisely because it's the last penny you'll get from me.
The lavender haze drink was a unique drink. It tasted like flowers, and was really good! The breakfast hash was good as well. It's very busy inside, but still spacious enough. Service was good too.
Think we found our new favorite brunch spot! We really enjoyed our food and were excited to finally come here after months of driving past it. Parking is definitely a pain and there are limited spots. We got to the restaurant around 11ish and there was a 45min wait for a party of two. Will most likely come at a less busier time however food came out fairly quick and our waiter was friendly. Restaurant is clean and perfect to come with friends and family. Everything we ordered was sooooo good however our favorites were the million dollar bacon and million dollar potatoes. If you're looking so go elsewhere than your typical diner, I think you'll love coming here!
This was my first time coming here, we came on a Sunday around 12:30 and waited about an hour even with the Yelp check in, this was expected since it is a weekend. The front waiting area is small so everyone kind smushed together, there was a refreshment stand with water and coffee which was a nice touch. The food was good. I do notice the portion sizes are much smaller compared to their competitors just right down the road (turning point) I like how they offer a lot of variations to different diets. I'm gluten free and they catered to it well! Our waitress was super nice. The kale juice they had was delicious. I just wish that they gave you a tad bit more food? I had an egg white omelette and it came with a side a fruit, one piece of my gluten free toast (extra) and some salsa. I wasn't really satisfied at the end of my meal. You could order sides but the prices did add up. I would come back again to try other dishes but definitely on a slower day. read more

These modern-esque brunch places (e.g. Turning Point) appear to be sprouting up like mushrooms all over Cherry Hill and Moorestown so I decided to take my wife out for a Mother's day brunch. Just driving by it always seems to be packed so I wisely decided to use the Yelp app to be placed on the waitlist. When we got there, it was PACKED as expected but we didn't have to wait very long before being seated. My wife had the biscuits and gravy with a side of strawberry pancakes while I had the breakfast tacos, boy do I love Mexican themed breakfasts! Everything tasted great and we were quite satisfied. They had crayons for the kids and had a robust kid's menu. It's a great lunch, but there's just something processed, robotic, and in-authentic about the place, like Cherry Hill. read more

MAKE RESERVATIONS/CALL AHEAD FIRST! I was so eager to try this place after passing by a few times. We called ahead to see what the wait time was and were told it was about 30 minutes for a party of 2 on a Sunday morning. Once we got there we were told it was probably around 45 min. They took my number and we waited. What's good is that they use Yelp and you can follow a link texted to you and see how many parties are before yours and cancel if need be. We ended up waiting for about an hour before we were seated. My sister and I got their cold brew coffee which was pretty good! I got "The Works" omlette and cheese grits. I was so excited to see cheese grits on the menu since it's pretty rare I find. I've been looking for a good cheese grits place since I moved up from Virginia. The grits here were meh. Not bad but not that amazing. Unsure if I would get it again but I appreciate it being an option. The "The Works" omlette was delicious, however. The sausage in it was my favorite part. They have that casing that makes the sausage "snap" which is how I prefer it. My meal came with toast and the bread they use was also a favorite. If you like whole grain bread and like the textures of lots of grains like me, you'd enjoy it too. Service was okay. They were pretty packed so I don't fault the waitress for not being very available. They close at 2 on Sunday so I kinda got the feeling they were rushing us out (it was around 1 when we got our food). They gave us the check when our meals came out and after that, we had to flag the waitress down for napkins, take-out boxes, etc. I'd definitely come back but I can't stress enough to make reservations because waiting an hour while you're hungry is no fun. Being in close proximity to Turning Point, I'd say First Watch is better but if you're in more of a hurry at Turning Point you might get seater faster. Regardless, wherever you go for weekend brunch will be packed. read more

Popular breakfast/lunch spot on Haddonfield road serving up delicious and fresh dishes that will you leave you feeling full due to their big portions. We got the lemon and ricotta pancakes, million dollar bacon, and summer crab omelet. You get two giant pancakes with lemon curd, strawberries and powdered sugar. The flavor in the pancakes was amazing, however the bottoms were a little burned and they were a bit dry. The million dollar bacon was pretty good. If you only like your bacon crispy this dish will not be for you. However, if you're not that picky the flavors will elevate the bacon to something delicious that you wouldn't normally take the time to do at home which makes each bit worth the it. The crab omelet was delicious and filled to the brim with crab, corn, and peppers. The crab was fresh and you cant go wrong with corn and peppers. The omelet itself was light and fluffy. The dish comes with toast and a small mixed green salad which is nice since some breakfast places just throw a greasy omelet on the plate. Aside from the minor issue with the pancake there wasn't anything negative about the visit. I'll definately be back soon to try the lunch menu. read more

Enjoyed Project Sunrise coffee served with flavored creamer. Truffle mushroom tossed with bacon, home fries. Topped with scrambled eggs with cheese and arugula! Wow! Amazingly delicious. Monserrath was our friendly server. Waited about 10min for a table (midweek). Expect a wait on peak hours & weekend. But its worth the wait & drive to Cherry Hill. if you go on the weekend, be sure to have a reservation or be ready for a long wait. Their parking lot gets so full that one time we had to park at a Wawa nearby and walk back to the restaurant! I really love that they have seasonal items on the menu that change as well. their Carnitas breakfast burrito is the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. I will always come back to order that. The rest of the items on the menu are really good quality food, and the portions are a good size. If you are looking for a place for a filling brunch, definitely try here. The place is always clean and the staff are kind. They are definitely not your cheapest breakfast place but that is because of the high quality of their ingredients. I always have leftovers as well. the million bacon is worth a try once too! overall it's a nice place for breakfast or brunch, but don't expect meals similar to that of a diner here! read more

Came here for a brunch double date this morning. Unfortunately they don't take reservations so we put our names on a waitlist but got off by 11:30. Sunday brunch was a busy time so parking took a few extra minutes (surprising for a suburban restaurant) but overall wasn't bad. We ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and frittata rustica. Both items were solid but the food took a while to come out (about a half hour). Our server was courteous and checked in often. Overall, pretty standard experience. read more

Great first experience at this relatively new (2/2019) restaurant just off Rt 70. Check in with Yelp and avoid the lines! Although a franchise with locations along the east coast, it has the feel of a farm-to-table establishment with fresh food offerings and warm, country-style ambiance. Reminded me of Turning Point, if you're familiar with them. Ordered the Farmhouse Hash Skillet and the Belgian waffle with raspberry compote to share. The skillet composed of chunky seasoned potatoes covered with cheese, roasted tomatoes, sweet peppers, and onion with avocado and two poached eggs on top was delicious. The waffle with raspberry compote was a bit boring in presentation, but big on flavor. The waffle was softer than some places will serve it, which was nice. The staff was very welcoming with our waitress Tammy's friendly personality and happiness really adding to a great experience. Highly recommend! Note: If you're diet conscious, they post the calorie content on the menu as well as all nutritional information on their website, where you can add/ delete items in a dish to get the estimated calories. read more
I have to say if you are in the south Jersey area first watch is definitely a must try. Weekends are always busy so make sure to reserve your place in line online ahead of time. Service was great I ordered the BLT eggs Benedict and I think the proportions were right for me not too heavy of meal. Another favorite must try is their elevated egg sandwich which is something I order all the time but this time I decided to try something new. This was the most peaceful place I've found in Cherry Hill thus far. Only been here for about 2 months but still. So I noticed when I walked up that there was seething outside. So I sat outside with no wait time. Around 130pm on a Saturday. Everything is or has a healthier option. Even when the coffee comes out there is silk milk on the table and stevia sugar. No other place around here does that so I thought it was a big deal. Coffee was delicious. I ordered the avocado toast. It has lemon zest in it I believe. Very delicious. Also I ordered a side of chicken sausage. They have options on sausage, like 3 different options but I don't remember what they all were. I know for a fact there were chicken sausage patties and turkey links. They also brought a little bottle of water. I loved it. I went and sat alone. I wasn't overly crowded. Everyone was sooo polite. So nice. Only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the pay on the way out thing. But it's okay. I will defiantly go back. read more

Doing what I love... I was truly skeptical about this place. Why? You may ask well, from my stance as a foodie who loves Breakfast/Brunch as my all time favorite meal this place needed to deliver... My people I wasn't disappointed! One, I am a proud Vegetarian and soon to be Vegan. Two, I remember my days of being a devout carnivorous eater for more then half my life ( 50yrs young and stopped eating four legged animals in 96 )...Please know there is no judgment coming from here..Third, I am really into the experience and abeyance which at times can definitely be lost in most chains.... Again, this place for its price and the wonderful taste that was conjured, it's safe.... for me to conclude, that this place is awsome... Prayerfully I am not being rude...Ha!!! Ha!!! Be prepared because it is always packed ( as a testament to it's greatness ) at least in Wynnewood PA., as well as the one in Cherry Hill NJ. The service is usually on point ( my only tad grip is that they, like all eateries can get a bit overwhelmed which will cause some concerns ) however, the beautiful sent of aromatic Superior flavor that permeates through the air will lull even the very patient into a pleasant, perplexing, precise coma that will force even the most stern to buckle under the trance of the amazing aroma. From the Infamous million-dollar bacon that my family has smacked their lips on to any dish that caters to someone with a sensitive pallet such as mine. It will be divine..Oh to top it off the refreshments are extremely refreshing and dare I say, delicately exquisite... So after my first bad experience last year, I came back a a few times and had decent experiences (with one bad one that I didn't review). I've ordered takeout multiple times, and I always order the Morning Meditation juice light ice. It always comes in what appears to be a 12 or 16 oz to go cup. Today I ordered the juice, and they gave me it in a KIDS cup that looks to be 8 oz. I asked why it was in a kids cup, and she said it's because I asked for light ice. I told her I was literally here 2 days ago and it was in the normal size cup like always. The server handed me the drink, didn't offer any sort of explanation as to why this is the first time I received my drink in a kids cup, and then walked away without even saying thank you or sorry. I had already tipped her and I wish I hadn't because she was rude and unapologetic. So now I'm done with this place! read more

I honestly thought this place was going to be a basic chain with mediocre food but i was totally wrong. I started with the cold brew, and it wasn't the best i had ever had but it was pretty good. Then we got the million dollar bacon and donut holes to share. They were amazing! The bacon was so good! I got the ham and gruyere melt with tomato soup and it was really good as well! This place exceeded my expectations and i am excited to go back. read more
