Seafood S.G.G.
Shay C.

I was at your Cherry Hill location on January 24 at approximately 12:30 PM, and unfortunately, the service I received was extremely disappointing. The waitress assigned to me was largely inattentive and appeared more focused on conversing with a gentleman who was following her around wearing a hat and coat than on attending to customers. I was repeatedly ignored while this interaction continued, which made for a very uncomfortable and unprofessional dining experience. I later called and spoke with a manager named Kelly, who explained that the gentleman was in training. While I understand the need for training new staff, this does not excuse the lack of customer service or awareness shown during my visit. Training should never interfere with a customer receiving proper attention and basic service. As a new establishment, I would expect a higher standard of professionalism and customer care. This experience reflected poorly on your commitment to customer service, and I hope it is addressed so future guests do not have a similar experience. Also, I had the Seafood Grits and a honey butter biscuit, the food was not very well seasoned and cold. However the biscuit was okay. I will never go to this restaurant again. I will take my business to First Watch, right down the street.

A group of about 15 of my family members showed up for our reservation at Sunrise Social today and we're a bit chaotic when we're together: lovely, but chaotic. So, it was extremely notable that our main waitress, Kelly, was extremely gracious and patient. We had so many food and drink orders flying around that even I was feeling bad for the staff, but they handled it so well and were so kind throughout the meal, even checking back regularly to make sure we needed anything. All portions here are huge and depending on how much you normally eat, could easily be at least two meals. I ordered the chicken and waffles and the two cousins next to me were quick to share :) it was very good and everything looked photo worthy. Prices were reasonable for the size (around $20-$26) a plate. After the meal, we were all over the place taking photos and staff were kind enough to take photos for (and with) us. It's this kind of compassion that is truly appreciated during the holidays.

SGG grits

I came here for brunch with my sister on a Saturday. It was not crowded at all so we were seated immediately. Service was a bit slow for it to not have been busy. Seemed like our server was also working behind the bar. I ordered a mimosa and had to return it for a new one because my glass had lipstick stains. My sister substituted the waffles for French toast and chicken. The chicken was fried hard so good but just a bit more seasoning would be better. I was not a fan of the SGG grits. There didn't seem to be enough gravy on the grits and it was at the bottom of the dish and the grits were thicker than I would've liked them to not have enough gravy. I also wish the crab meat was cooked I to the gravy. The R&B music was nice but not sure I'd be back

Thought I was dreaming so we had to go for a second time. This experience was a 20 out of 20. The vibe was great. The music was good. Our waiter Tyree was amazing again. Now the food was delicious, hot, fresh and made with love. We traveled from Philly and it was worth the trip. Can't forget the Peach Mimosa Tower which is what the doctor ordered. Lastly the Robot food delivery cart was a "Did they just go there monent". Again great service and food comes with a price.

Came to visit a friend and decided to have brunch here. The vibe was amazing! They had RnB songs playing in the background that we all sang along to. The food was delicious! I especially enjoyed the waffles. Our waitress Mercedes was so friendly and patient with us (as we were undecided multiple times). I would return if I'm ever in the area again.

Went looking for a brunch place today that was nearby and I heard about this restaurant. I figured it was time to stop by and see they could cure my brunch needs. The location wasn't hard to find and there were plenty of parking spots available at 11:00 am. My party of 3 was greeted and sat at a booth. The decor was nice and music wasn't too loud. We were off to a great start. For drinks we ordered strawberry lemonade and for entrees we had the chicken ana waffles, SGG (with gravy on the side), and Build Your Own Omelette (cheese only). The establishment wasn't crowded at all, so the wait time for our food was maybe 15/20 mins. The food was all room temperature, which was a little strange. The prices of the entrees were on the higher end (averaging $20+) , thus you would expect to have hot to warm food. The butter on my granny's waffle didn't melt at all, which is an indication of a cold waffle. The grits in the SGG were room temperature and they barely covered the bottom of my bowl. Additionally, the lump crab meat was sparse. The fish and shrimp were good. My partner liked his cheese omelette, but also stated it was room temperature. So, our overall consensus is the food was decent, but could have been better if it were warm. That's an easy fix, so hopefully, the restaurant is willing to make that change.

S.G.G. Seafood Gumbo and Grits

I heard about Brunchaholics and since I was in Cherry Hill on business, I decided to check it out. It wasn't crowded, so I was seated quickly. The place was clean, the music playlist was perfect, and all of the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves. I ordered the S.G.G. (Seafood gumbo and grits) and Smoked Short Rib Hash to go. The food arrived on an electric server -which was very cool. I thought the robot programmed to come to the table with the food was a cool feature. The S.G.G. was perfect. The fish was crispy and the shrimp and gumbo all blended well with the grits. It was very flavorful. I definitely would recommend this from the menu. The Smoked Short Rib Hash was very tender, but it was slightly salty-a little too salty for me. I wouldn't order that again. One disappointing thing was that my server, Brianne, never came back to check on the table, no refills on the water, and I had to have another server get her to bring the bill. She said that she forgot about me because she doesn't typically work that side of the restaurant. Not sure I would have told a patron that, but I did offer a suggestion that she pay more attention to her customer service skills. She had good energy, but needed to understand that she has to also connect with the patrons. Overall, I had a good experience at Bunchaholics-Cherry Hill, NJ. Till we eat again...

Mixed Berry French Toast, not a good presentation for a $25.00 plate
Lee A.

On no! What could improve is the question after giving a 2 star. If i could give a 2.5 star i would have. However, i had to go with the lessor of 2 or 3. The ambiance i can honestly say was good, even down to the R & B music that played throughout the establishment. This place is a nice little spot located on Haddonfield road in cherry hill, next to Route 70. Me and my wife came for brunch and to try something different as we always do. When you look at food cost here compared to other places in the area, this place is extremely expensive. The problem with it being expensive is definitely presentation and taste. I mean i have never paid $25.99 + tax for chicken and waffles and 23.99 + tax for mixed berry French toast. The presentation of the food alone was not even worth the money. You can go to Sabrina's Cafe and pay less for a similar dish, that will have a better presentation. Service: Once we ordered our food it took more than 20 minutes before we received it. Now, you would expect that when you are relatively busy, however, me and my wife were the only two people inside at this time being served. So a 20 minute ticket and you are the only two there is beyond my understanding. We should have definitely received our food within a shorter time window. Food: the food was ok, i have had better. You would have thought that they would have had berries in between the French toast for the amount we paid, but they didn't, just on top. Pretty dry in my opinion. Same with the chicken and waffles, you would have thought there would have been some kind of filler between the two waffles to make this plate pop, but it wasn't. The waffles were kinda dry. I'll be honest, the chicken wings were actually good, and were nicely seasoned, but that was really it. Overall, i would not recommend spending money here unless they were going to revamp and make it make sense with their pricing and presentation. I know that we will not be returning. It was not worth the money and time.

The food and the music were fantastic. Our server was the sweetest person ever. I would come back again. The mimosa tower is so fun!! One things is the floors are sticky!! They need to do a better job at cleaning floors and tables.

When we were finally seated we had a great waitress who shared her recommendations. We landed on the Eggs Benedict and the $19 BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE FRENCH TOAST, which is baked cinnamon & vanilla custard-soaked brioche, butterscotch apples; topped with brown butter oat streusel & Philly whip. Unbelievable. The place was loud and popping on a Sunday around noon. Not intimate, but a fun post-church gathering of hungry souls. Haddonfield itself is a cute little town with what appeared to be a lot of cute dining spots. We will definitely make this our pit stop on future NY - DC sojourns!

The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.

Mother's Day brunch at Sabrina's Café with my beautiful daughter We made sure to get there early…read morebecause if you know anything about this neighborhood gem, you know they don't take reservations. This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.

Our waitress seemed a bit flustered, but still very friendly and attentive. We ordered quickly and our food came out really fast. I got an omelette with salad greens. Everything seemed fresh and flavorful. I had zero issues with my food. One of my kids got the French toast with bacon and fruit and the other got a grilled cheese with fruit. Both kids liked the main meal but the fruit was on its way out. Lots of brown and squishy spots. Normally my kids could eat a pound of fruit each, but they both passed on it. My wife got a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. She really wanted fries, but they had none. What breakfast restaurant doesn't have French fries? We thought that was pretty strange. She said the sandwich was fine, but nothing spectacular. My parents shared eggs and potatoes and a pot of decaf. The potato consensus across the table was that they were not good. Too salty and not crispy enough. This was especially upsetting because of the lack of fries. Oh well. They also hated the coffee, but my parents only usually like McDonald's coffee. Boomers.
