I have been to this location several times now and I always feel comfortable and I never feel like I'm going to be told I need something that I don't. I was there this morning for my check engine light, it had been on since Monday and this morning I felt my car was not accelerating as normal so I took it in. They ran a diagnostic test and assured me that nothing was wrong, I was insisting that it wasn't driving right so they drove it and confirmed everything was fine. It was fast and easy and cheap....I was only charged 50% of the diagnostic fee! This is definitely my car care place. read more

Recently I purchased a used car from a local dealer in Chandler that uses Firestone for inspections and service. They told me that the car had been serviced at and inspected at a local Firestone; however. the work from that shop did not meet standards. Shame on me for not taking it to be inspected. After purchase I took it to Chrysler-Jeep to get some recalls done. They did a safety inspection while there. The brakes were worn to 1mm and badly needed replacement. Other service/inspection items not up to standard: Oil filter not replaced(dirt not even wiped off). Oil change monitor not reset. Spare tire was flat. Other tires had 10 PSI over recommend air. Battery cables corroded. Air filter and cabin air filter were not cleaned or replaced. In-fact the cabin air filter appears to be the original from factory. Took my 2011 Kia Sportage here for a simple oil change, SUPER SIMPLE THING RIGHT?, NOPE they did not put no oil back in my vehicle and the engine blew a week later costing me 5,000 in repairs. I let them know about it before I hire a lawyer to try and settle it guess what 2 weeks later no inspector was sent to find out what happened to my vehicle, Firestone said they need a official inspector? Unfortunately, I have to write a negative review for this store. I have been coming to this store for over 10yrs. and the constant turnover and unprofessionalism has left me no choice but to find a trustworthy new store. I believe in 3 strikes your out policy, this last time was it. I arrived at 4:27 PM to have a simple oil chg. the front office tech, shoo'd me away with his wrist like swatting a fly and said "I don't have time for you today, bring your car in some other time". They're open till 7pm!!!!!! I counted the cars, 3 in the bays and 2 out front. Seriously?? Thus, brought the car in two days later on a Wednesday at 7:45am. Same guy informed me I would have to leave the car, which I did. I called 2hrs later and they still hadn't touched my car. Called 4hrs later and he said it was just then going in the bay. Really 5hrs for a simple oil change? When I got there 45 mins later, still working on my car and the jerk rolled his eyes at me when I asked why it took 5hrs. Extremely unprofessional. The previous time I came in they tried to sell me filters, that I personally replace 3 weeks prior. They showed me a filter that wasn't mine. I know by the brand I put in, that it wasn't mine. I blew it off since there were at least 10 cars being serviced and thought the tech was confused and brought it to the wrong owner. Yet, he was positive it was mine and was a little angry I didn't want it replaced. This part made me mad. They shouldn't 'force' any repair or replacement on a customer. Not cool. Don't bother. I had an appointment for an oil change on a Saturday afternoon. The appointment was for 2pm. I booked it several days ahead so that I wouldn't end up sitting in the waiting area for a long time. When I made it I specified that I would be waiting, they confirmed day before. I arrived and checked in 1:50pm. At 2:40 I noticed that my car had not even been moved from the place I had parked it. My boyfriend went to ask if they had maybe done it and put it back before we even noticed. They apologized for the wait, and said that it was being done right then, and would be finished in a few minutes. My boyfriend pointed to the car in the lot and asked again if maybe it was finished and they forgot to tell us. Manager- "I don't know what the hell those guys are doing out there." He went and talked to the guys in the garage and they did start it a few minutes later. He did not charge for it, and gave me a coupon for half off of the next one. So I have to give some credit for that. The rest of the experience really made up my mind though. First of all, I know it gets busy and a manager needs to be able to trust that his employees will do their job, but this one was not keeping tabs on the employees and they were NOT doing their jobs. They fix people's brakes for a living.The manager is reporting that they have provided service that had not been started. In the hour I listened to the service managers conversations with the customers that were picking their vehicles up, I heard him tell several customers that he had done more work than they had authorized and charge them up to twice what they had been quoted. It was necessary and required for safety reasons. Same crap has been pulled on me and I know better now. I just don't trust them, to the point where I checked my oil that day to see if it had really been changed. It had been. read more

HOURS ARE INCORRECT! They are not open until 9pm. Just spent 40 minutes driving because of this mishap and got there at 7:04pm - door says it closes at 7. The worker inside was useless and rude, not even willing to listen to the problem that Firestone created. Terrible customer service. read more

I made an appointment and left my car. 45 minutes later they hadn't even looked at it. Said it could be another hour - he didn't know. I wanted them to check the tires and alignment. They said they couldn't warranty the tires cause I hadn't had it aligned every 5000 miles - I had to have receipts for the work. I wanted them to look at them and tell me what they thought. I didn't say anything about warranty. They were already covering their ass before they even looked at the tires. Cheap tires and bad service - won't ever go to a Firestone store again. read more

Great service. I have the lifetime alignment for one of my vehicles and have been in a few times. They always get the alignment done in less than an hour from my appointment time. I needed new tires for one of my cars today. Just showed up without an appointment they were still able to replace all 4 tires with an alignment in less than 2 hours including time for them to get the tires I wanted from another location. read more

These guys are amazing. I realized today that my van was very overdue for an oil change and I am flying out tomorrow. The day I get back my husband is planning to drive the van to Los Angeles. I called at 5:45 pm to see if they could accommodate me for an oil change before they closed at 7. I got there a few minutes after 6 pm and they took the van right away and when they learned the vehicle was going on a long trip they did a full inspection to make sure that everything was okay for the long trip. I thought that was really awesome and then Michael called me out to the shop to show me that the tires were not safe even for local driving. As I tried to figure out how I could possibly get those tires replaced before I left in the morning. Dyllon came from the back to determine how much credit I still had on my current tires and what they had in stock. The van looked like it was in an Indy 500 race with a different person on each wheel. Still they finished after their closing time and both Michael and Dyllon thanked me for coming in and for my business. It would have been very easy for them to just do the oil change and send me on my way but as Dyllon said - we want to make sure our customers are safe when they leave. What I like about this place is they are fair, everyone is professional and easy to get along with. They are not trying to screw you over but trying to honestly fix your car, unlike some places. No one likes to have their car worked on because it's expensive, but when you come to this Firestone at least you know you'll be taken care of and the job will get done! read more

I've taken my 240 here multiple times already. I was told to go here by a few tuner car people. The location isn't close to me, so means something that I drive a hot, stripped, welded-diff car so far for service. So far I haven't been disappointed. I've come in with specs for my vehicle; they were not achievable with the current aftermarket suspension components I had at the time. instead of charging me for an alignment after they couldn't get the car to where I wanted (as other places have done) they only charged me for an alignment check. They work with me and remembered me from last visit. They're usually pretty quick, I come in without an appointment and haven't waited more than 2 hours, which is better than when I went to network, they had my car for 5 hours and did basically nothing. No crazy "low car charge" and curteous people. Help that they have a tech who knows about drift cars. Kudos for that. My only star off is just the waiting area isn't the best. I figure most people just drop their cars off, however having a bar top/counter so that you can do work off of it (like having a surface to use a computer) would be a great addition while you're waiting. read more

After being screwed over by another firestone location, I decided to change which store I go to. I love firestone for their lifetime alignments (which both of my cars have). The techs at this location really know their stuff compared to the location in central Phoenix. These guys tell me what maintenance items will be approaching in the future and tell me what can wait. I bring my lexus in for an alignment usually once a month, and get my oil changed whenever it is due while its getting aligned. The wait times are usually accurate to what they quote. The staff is friendly and the manager Cody really knows what he is talking about. The service techs are a bunch of car enthusiasts and really love what they do. read more

My original issue was fixed. I have to say this Firestone has the best customer service I have seen at any auto care place. They are friendly, helpful, and will not try to pressure you into buying anything extra. They will give you recommendations as needed, but they don't make you feel pushed to add services. The wait times can be long, even with an appointment, but that is to be expected. The pricing is generally good and fair, and they will try to help you find coupons in their system whenever possible. read more

I've been going here for a while but might not be going back after my last visit. I was under the assumption I was getting a free battery check and ended up being told ok everything is good that will be 24.99.. I said "well it would have been nice to have been told that, I thought is was free" The guy said yes since we checked your whole electrical system it is 24.99. After complaining the guy dropped it down to 20 so I just gave up and paid it but i am still pissed off enough to write this review. Next time I will be going to auto zone where this service is free. I own a small truck and run nationwide. I use Firestones stores across the country for my tire service needs. Firestone tires are great and I get professional service at their stores. Only 2 Stars today I'm a regular customer in here and have spent a tremendous amount of money repairing necessary things on my car.. However service was very poor in here today my appointment was at 11am i dropped my car off at 10:40 AM ..I left for an hour and a half only to come back and find my car still parked out front not even pulled in yet for the work to be completed the manager here on Sunday's is full of excuses as to why my car was still sitting out front an hour and a half past my scheduled appointment time ... My question is why even schedule an appointment ...I can see maybe running 1/2 an hour behind but not an hour and a half especially when my car was going to take approximately 2 hours for the things I scheduled (oil change, tire rotation, front end alignment, new brakes and roters for the back) so after griping and throwing a huge fit and asking for my keys cause I was ready to walk out of here the manager says ... We will discount some of your services today and put two guys on your car to get it done...REALLY don't act like your doing me a favor when you all are the ones not doing your job !!!! I am really considering finding another Firestone to take my car too , appointments are made for a reason it's not so I can sit in here all fricken day while u work other cars into your day and make people who make appointments have to wait all day to get their only car back its not like I have any other option but to sit in here and wait for my vehicle to get done so I can go about my day!! So for your inconsiderate customer service today you only get 2 stars from me ... Do better or I'm going somewhere else!!!! read more

I had the same experience as several other's on this blog/comments area below. I had scheduled an appointment for an Oil Change and it took a 1.5 hours to complete... .very disappointing. The REAL issue, however, was that my power steering hose appeared to have been cut during the oil change. I say this since when I came home from the oil change and parked the car in my driveway there was a puddle under the power steering reservoir when I went out to the car. I opened the hood and it looked to me like it was a clean cut (vs. a puncture or some type of tear or even wear). Adding to my doubt is that recently (2 months ago), I had a completely rebuilt engine put in the car and the hoses were all replaced. I've kept the original hose and will have it SEM evaluated at work. If It comes back as having been cut, I'll let the readers of this blog know. I know what I'm alleging is serious stuff, especially since Firestone was founded on a high ethical principals when dealing with customers (they have a sign in the waiting area and since I had a lot time while waiting I was able to read). read more
