You tell me another auto shop who would call you after you told them to replace front and rear brakes to tell you the front brakes were just fine? Usually shops call with ten other things they say need fixing. This shop said you let us change your oil regularly and we will keep an eye on your car if it needs future repairs. Great marketing strategy. They made a believer out of me. They are hard to get an appointment...always full so I'm keeping them a secret. I have a BMW ix50, the BMW at Scottsdale North wanted $577.63 to repair the rodent caused broken sensor wire which caused the air conditioning to completely shut down. I declined BMW's offer. I called JD Automotive and explained the problem. He said he thought he could fix the problem for less than $150.00, but they were booked more than a week ahead. However, when I pleaded with them explaining I needed to use my car much sooner he offered to have me bring the car in the next morning and promised to have it fixed by the end of the day. We've taken our lexus suv there for oil changes and for $25. They change the oil, filters and dispose of the oil for that price. Recently, our alternator went out and they replaced it for half the price LEXUS would have. They are so honest, professional ,and efficient! You won't be disappointed. read more

These guys are great! We've been taking our cars to them for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. John is very honest which is rare for car mechanics. My husband had a problem with his kia (don't ask me what kind :), took it to John's and John advised him that it was a recall issue and a dealership would fix it for free. Even called the dealership to confirm! Anyone else would've fixed it and charged us for the work! They also have the cheapest oil change without any coupons or specials! My check engine light was on and I needed to pass emissions test. It was going to need a new thermostat and it looked like to much of job for me to fix it myself so a friend told me about JD automotive and I spoke with Rachel and set up a appointment: all went well and I was happy to have my car fixed and drove home. Next day I drove my car to run a errand and when coming back home my Check engine light came back on and this time it was flashing , I contacted Rachel and she had me come over and John used. His scanner to locate the problem. Turned out to be a Ignition coil.i told John that I could fix this myself and John pointed me in the right direction to buy the part: I came home and worked on my car . There's too many words to even begin to describe the professionalism and genuine care that they provide. For me John, the owner, was a lifesaver. I like to modify my car but got a little carried away and ended up cross-threading a bolt in a really tight spot. I took my car to two other guys, one of which specialized in only Honda's and Acura's. Both of them looked at my engine and called it "complicated" and they didn't want to touch it nor did they want to help and even if they did they wanted to remove the entire engine (10-12 hours job at 140 an hour). I have very high anxiety so hearing this and possibly not being able to fix my car was very, mentally hard to deal with. Then i went to JD automotive and John took one look at my engine and knew how to fix it. This guy knows His way around an engine and was able to fix my issue with ease. I honestly don't really know how he did it, i thought it was going to be more complicated but he got it done and I honestly can't thank him enough. John is amazing! What started off as routine maintenance on my car (replacing old spark plugs) turned into a much bigger ordeal because 1 of the spark plugs had gotten completely stuck from being screwed-in incorrectly by a mechanic at another garage. John spent over 6 hours prying it out, pulling out every little piece of that spark plug, essentially fixing someone else's terrible mistake! Both John and Rachael were so considerate, explaining all the steps at getting my car fixed and working with me on the bill. I have a 2010 Accord at 82k. I am a single mom and I have to bring my child with me because we have no family here. So it has been hard to find a place that I can use and rely on. My child was just happy they have WiFi! They also offer Uber if you have to have service that takes a very long period of time. Me-I really like this shop. I had a recommendation from a friend who also liked the shop and had cars serviced here. I would go again and their prices are reasonable. I can tell they are experienced and know what they are doing. I went to a big chain and that chain didn't do my oil change right a few months ago. Luckily I found this shop and they fixed that issue correctly and now I won't lose my engine! I am super grateful. Did I mention they are also very personable? Best car repair service I think I've ever experienced. I took my daughters car there after having it towed to two prior shops. They either couldn't figure out what was wrong or gave me an outrageous quote. I called to get an estimate and Rachel actually called me back and the customer service was outstanding.
