My good friend had a regrettable experience here a few days ago when she got a flat tire a couple blocks away and limped her car to this Firestone. The tire was on its rim. She asked at the counter if they could fit her in and fix it. A female came out from the back (lots of tattoos - mentioning this for identification only) and told her that she didn't have an appointment and had to leave. My friend joked that if she'd known in advance of getting the flat, she would have called for an appointment, then asked if someone could at least help out and put air in the tire so she could go elsewhere. The person told her to leave or they were going to call the police (!!). My friend is over 65 years of age. The police actually came, rolled their eyes, and apologized to my friend for the unreasonable treatment She received. AAA was called and a set of 4 new tires were purchased elsewhere. Scratching my head at the lack of compassion and outright mean treatment. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but Bozemanites are better than this! read more

I am sure they do great work but in this instance, I called this morning to make an appointment, skipping over other tire installers in the area for an appointment to have my tires rotated only to be met with a "our hoists are broken and we will have to do this on jack's, so you're gonna wait an hour and a half", had I known that I would've gone elsewhere. I feel like it took a few trips to build rapport here but I really like the place. They service all of our vehicles tires and occasionally other stuff when time allows. They consistently hit the timelines they give us, have fair prices and will get competitive to keep your business. I've dropped in a couple times in a pinch and they were able to help me out quickly which I really appreciate. They also have very good stock on hand and can stud your tires that other folks cannot do. If these folks carried my mud tire I would never buy anywhere else. Don't get anything done here find another place that is willing to help Fund ways to save you money not find ways to run up your bill. My daughter came in and said her car felt strange. They called her back to say it needs new Ball joints and it would be $900. It turns out that was how much money was left on her firestone credit card. I needed winter tires for my Lexus IS 250. The managing partner helped find the right tires and gave me a quote. The tires arrived within a week and the service I received during my visit was exceptional. The shop was crazy busy but their customer service was EXCELLENT. In addition to new tires I also had the alignment corrected and an oil change - very efficient. I will never be going here again. First of all I had an appointment scheduled on-line at 9am. When I arrived I was told they had scheduled me for 4 new tires...which wasn't what I had made the appointment for. I had a very slow leak in only one of my tires that needed replaced...was told because there was such low mileage on my current tires it would be ok to replace just the one as long as it was exactly the same tire. They went out to measure my current tread and compare to a new tire tread. The guy pulled out a completely different tire (like one that would go on a truck) and compared my current tread to that one. To follow up, the store manager called to let me know I had missed my appointment (which obviously I hadn't) and he repeatedly told me he ordered 4 tires because that's what I had request... not true! This started on June 29th. We were up in Bozeman to visit some family and had to get a part for our camper. As we were driving a spark plug blew in the engine. Had it towed to firestone. When we had called to let them know it was coming in they said we would have it back by the end of the day. End of day rolls around and no car back no cal so we call them. It's busy we haven't had a chance to look. Ok fine, we were out and about on Tuesday we see the car in the bay with the hood up stop in and again we should have it by the end of the day. End of the day comes and we call them again they say they haven't had a chance to look at it. No we start getting a little frustrated because they aren't calling us we have to keep calling them just to get an update. Our family calls their mechanic to see how busy they are and then we found out that firestone has been calling around because they say they don't know how to repair it. Now I'm upset! We go down Wednesday again and now their story is of we just have to order the part and we can fix it. I want to make sure and I said to my fiancé that I don't trust this they have lied to us and blown us off. He handles it and is told we will have it back Wednesday. We did get it back by the end of the day and it was running rough and misfiring. Took it back Thursday for them to get it right. They deal with it in like an hour or so. That Friday we didn't use the car as we had other plans. On Saturday (this is the 4th of July now) we leave Bozeman to head home as soon as we get on I-90 the spark plug blows again! The same one that they charged us $826 to repair! Get it towed down and started the game with them again. I'll skip to Monday the 6th and it needs to be replaced again OR have the cylinder head replaced and that would completely fix the problem not just a repair. This job is over $2600 which if we had been given this option in the first place we would have gone with it! So on July 6th they order the part and by Thursday they say they have it, but the only person that can work on the car doesn't work Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Ok we are at their mercy at this point as we had to go home because had to get back to work. We have to keep calling to make sure everything is on track as we had to make plans to go up and get our car. So we are being told everything is good and so on. The day before we are suppose to come up we hadn't heard anything of the car is ready or anything like that. So the family we have in Bozeman stopped in to speak to someone in person. Found out at that point it's the wrong part and the car won't be ready and we are out another week as they have to order the new part. Again the only person that can work on the car doesn't work Friday, Saturday or Sunday. They don't bother calling us until after the fact that our family stopped in to see what was going on. I find this to be completely unprofessionally they should have called us immediately with the delay. So we are again at the mercy of the shop. We did finally get the car back after the shop had our car for basically 3 weeks. While I do understand things happen but the lack of communication and the avoidance they showed us is unprofessional and unacceptable. I would never recommend anyone to use this shop and if we had known this was the way we were going to be treated we would have pulled our car from this shop and moved to to another shop. read more

06/05/2018 The worst customer service I have ever seen. The low pressure light came on in my car, so I pulled into Firestone to have them look at it. (my tires are Firestone tires) they tell me the one tire was really low so I ask well maybe we should look at it incase it has a nail or something? He then tells me they have know time and that I would have to make an appointment. REALLY!! ok lets do that, he then says well we can not do it before Friday! EXCUSE ME, I said that is unacceptable, you are telling me I should drive on that tire, possibly causing damage, a tire that is under warranty and you will not make room to get it fixed!! He says Yes! This is how they are every time I go in there. I called corporate and made a formal complaint and was told some one would get back to me in the next 48 hours. REALLY wow you people really do not care about your customers or how they are treated. read more

Buyer beware! Horrible experience from start to finish. Went in for a scheduled appointment on Monday. Dropped off my vehicle and got a call an hour later stating they didn't have the tires that they thought they had. Picked vehicle up and rescheduled for Wednesday dropped vehicle off and got a call 45 minutes later that again they didn't have my tires. 90 minutes appointment took 3 hours to complete. Person who cashiered my invoice had no idea how to do his job. Took 55 minutes to pay my bill. Got out to my vehicle after paying to find my spare tire cover broken and my spare tire had been removed from the wheel and remounted backwards. The raised white letters were facing out now they are in. Then the tires I bought dropped $40 the day after I bought them. Triple promise is a joke. I have been trying to reach someone at the corporate level for over three weeks and can't even get a call back. Giving one star because zero is not an option. read more

I stopped in on Friday to price out tires for my RAV4. Dustin was knowledgeable and polite. He gave me a quote for 4 Bridgestone Ecopia tires and a rear brake job that was reasonable. I didn't have time to get the job done on Friday, but he told me that we could do it on Monday even though it was Memorial Day. I asked him what time, and he said noon. We agreed that I'd be back at noon on Monday and I left the store. I then came back in on Monday for my appointment at noon. I arrived at approximately 11:30 and dropped my car off. I asked one of the techs who was outside if they were running on schedule and he told me that they were fairly close. I spoke with Dustin again and asked what time I should be back to pick it up. He told me it should be done by 1:30, but 2:00 would be safe. I left the vehicle and went and ran errands. I drove through the lot at about 1:00 and noticed that my vehicle was still in the same spot, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. I then arrived back at about 2:10 to pick up my vehicle and noticed it was still in the same spot with the old tires on it. I went in and asked what was going on and was told that they would get right on it. I told them to cancel the brake job and just put on the new tires. I will say that my initial impression of the Bridgestone Dueler Ecopia tires is that they are very quiet on the highway and ride very smooth. I just wish that I wasn't inconvenienced by an extra hour when I had an appointment set up. I wasn't apologized to by Dustin or any other staff member, just told that they were busy. I will probably try Firestone Complete Auto Care in Bozeman again, but they will be on "probation" and if my experience is similar, I will not go back there again and will not hesitate to share my experience with poor customer service again. To the manager of Firestone--I recommend the Steve Beck ECS series of seminars for all your front desk staff. They are held in Bozeman frequently and help to train with Exceptional Customer Service. read more

My girlfriend took her car to get studded tires taken off. The tech told her they performed a "courtesy check". They said she needed to replace her cabin air filter. They said it would be $50 to replace. She then asked if they had checked the filter but didn't get a straight answer. She told them that her boyfriend had just replaced it, which is true. I replaced it for $27 and it took me about 5 minutes. Replacing filters that don't need it is an old scam. Don't get had by these jokers. Its called fraud boys. We will not be back. read more

I have been a Firestone customer for several years now, in several states. Their agents have always been pushy and condescending, with few exceptions. The gentleman at this particular location refused to rotate my tires on the basis that one of them needs to be replaced and "it wouldn't do any good." I have a Firestone account but since I am out-of-state this location charged me full price for an oil change and kept me waiting 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment. This experience was more than enough for me, I will never go back to another Firestone again. read more

We were driving from Seattle, WA to Charleston, SC and had stopped in Bozeman for a little bit when we noticed radiator fluid leaking. Being on a long trip we did not want to risk it, even though the temperature gage was showing everything was normal. We stopped into Firestone and the Store Manager Matt Koljonen greeted us and was helping us out within seconds of us walking through the door. He promptly came out to my car, got on the ground and was poking around, and checked under the hood. It was 3:30pm on a Saturday and promised he would try and get us in. It could have been the radiator, the water pump, or a belt... all of which broke my heart and would probably have put us staying in Bozeman for a couple extra days. When Matt called and said it was just the radiator cap, we were thrilled! What I was thinking would be a $200-700 bill ended up at $30! Matt gave us his card upon checking out and said if anything else happened to please call him. It was such a great experience and we felt very taken care of. THANK YOU MATT!! read more

My family was passing through Bozeman on a long road trip when we starting having intermittent electrical issues. Matt at Firestone did a thorough testing of all the systems to reassure us. Not only did he do this free of charge, he also gave us his card and said he knew a lot of shops along our route home to contact if we had future car trouble. $70 for an oil change is ridiculous for one but I did also have to put my winter tires on as well. I dropped my car off at 10 am and was told oh yeah it'll be maybe and hour or 2 4hours later I call and ask if it's done and am told oh yeah it'll be another hour your car is next so then 2 hours later I come in thinking it's close to being done which it isn't and there's 5 cars in front of my car and my car hasn't moved very pissed off and annoyed that almost my entire day was wasted read more

Bought Firestone tires in Dallas and I was promised there were locations all across the US to service them. My wife and I were traveling across Montana and one of my tires started acting up. I looked and found the ONLY Firestone in Montana in Bozeman which we happened to be driving through. I called this Firestone 2 hours before closing time and explained that we had bought all 4 tires at Firestone in Dallas and probably just needed a plug. I was told that he did not have anyone there that could help me and that I would have to come back in the morning. This was probably a 5 minute repair and he left us to go somewhere else that charged us a lot of money to fix a tire that they should have fixed under warranty. Firestone of Bozeman dropped my 2011 Duramax off of the alignment rack lift. It has been over two months and the issue has still not been resolved. As a result of the drop the drive line was bent, the transmission and transfer case were damaged, brake lines were crushed, the exhaust was ripped out of the turbo and the body was also damaged. Due to the lack of willingness to resolve this matter by both the corporate office and the local branch management, I have been without my business vehicle. They get me in with short notice and go the extra mile to make sure my car and truck are taken care of. They don't over sell unnecessary service and follow up with phone calls on parts. I dropped my truck off, with an appointment, at 1pm. At 5:30pm i got a call saying to pick up my truck. Nothing got accomplished in 4 1/2 hours. I took the truck in with 2 sensor warnings. My tire pressure monitoring system needed servicing and my check engine light was on. I told the check-in guy I thought I had a glow plug out and that was why the check engine light was on. After 4 1/2 hours they told me the tire pressure monitoring system need a new part and that I has 2 faulty glow plugs. It was too late in the day to get any parts so I would have to reschedule and come back to get anything repaired. It cost me $105 for two diagnostic jobs that probably took 30 minutes. My big complaint is that it took ALL afternoon even after I made an appointment to complete less than an hours worth of work and then tell me what I told them when i brought it in. Firestone - If someone makes an appointment get to their work and let them know what is going on. I've been OK with other Firestone stores in the past but today I am very disappointed!! read more
