I have found my new go-to for everything tire-related shop! Yesterday I had an emergency with a punctured tire. I drove in without an appointment and Matt was incredible! My car was up on the hydraulic jack and the spare mounted within five minutes. They kept my injured tire while I went on about my day, and by mid-afternoon they had the tire repaired--and reasonably priced. Needed snow tires Price was reasonable I was supposed to be in and out, I decided to leave Vehicle there, . website said they were open till five and open on Sundays, but never received a phone to pick up my vehicle so my vehicle was stuck for the whole weekend there which it didn't help at all cause I needed to be on a job on Monday so the customer service was a two lack of communication. While driving my truck off road I got a puncture in a tire. Another place in town (unnamed) refused to patch/plug the tire and I ended up buying a new tire to replace the punctured one, which only had about 5,000 miles on it. So I decided that the punctured tire was a candidate for self-help, and I put in a plug/patch myself and then bought a used wheel that was OEM on this particular truck for use as an additional spare. Again, the other place in town wouldn't touch the sealed tire or mount it on the new/used wheel. Tire-Rama, however, gladly helped me. It took them all of about an hour in an otherwise busy day for them to mount the repaired tire on the new/used rim and the price was certainly fair. I think I've found a new tire place in town. Paid $1,240 to have new tires installed on freshly painted classic steel wheels. Gave me 3 different pickup times. Showed up on the last pickup time they gave me and waited over an hour as the tires had not been started yet. One of the wheels came back so scuffed and marred I'm going to have to pull the tire off and completely redo the rim. No one told me about any of it. Found out as I was loading the tires in to the bed of the truck. Didn't offer any sort of compensation. Bottom of the barrel. read more

Absolutely outstanding! Dustin is one of the most professional, fast and efficient workers I have ever come across! He is so polite and informative! I woke up this morning with a flat tire in West Yellowstone, I was pressed for time and the first place that came up recommended on yelp was tire Rama by the mall! I am so grateful that I called earlier today to make sure that I could come by later. Tire Rama is open until 6 o'clock when I tell you I got there at 6 o'clock to pick up my perfectly repaired tire. Dustin put it back on my truck, I don't think it took him five minutes! He checked each of my tires to make sure the pressure was good to go and that the vehicle was safe. $36 for stellar service, kindness, and efficiency! I couldn't recommend this place more. However, of course, I don't recommend walking in at the exact time a business closes. Unfortunately, today I really was pressed for time and had to take on rush-hour traffic in Bozeman. In the last three or 4 years now, this is the only shop I go to and by far the best tire shop in town! They always do whatever they can to get you in asap and the whole team is great at what they do. I went in recently trying to get new wheels for my ford sportsmobile. Since they have manual lockers, not many wheels will fit. So we looked together at some possible options and ordered some that I really liked. When they showed up, my aftermarket lockers were a little too big still but they immediately had them sent out to be laser cut to fit. Now I have the coolest van wheels I've ever seen and I'm more than stoked on them! Thanks a ton guys! read more

We are a single car family. One of our tires had a screw in which was causing low tire pressure. With the cold weather, we had to add air every few days. We tried 4 different tire shops. Some flat out said "no", others said they'd need us to drop off our car all day and they'd get to it eventually. I totally get it. It's a very busy time right now. I was on a cross country trip passing through Bozeman. We hit a road hazard in a snow storm with our Suburban. Since we were unfamiliar with the Bozeman area, we went to the big names first, Costco and Les Schwab. They both had no tires in inventory. So then called Tire Rama. The call was excellent, they were friendly, super knowledgeable and understanding of our dire situation of being on the road, in a snow storm, with an old spare tire. The manger came out to help us. Walked us to the display, providing us with options, and quoted an amazing price. We agreed, and they installed my tires within an hour!!! Don't waste your time with the other guys. I used these guys for my regular oil changes and they overtightened the drain plug, which broke during the next oil change. Now there is an unaccounted for magnet that was on the end of the drain plug. Either they lost it while the plug was out during the first oil change and didn't do or say anything, or that magnet broke off when the plug broke and is floating around in my engine. Guy who did the second oil change (not his fault) swears all over that the magnet didn't come out with the oil nor with the broken off part of the plug. Now I'm worried that my engine is a ticking time bomb that could destroy itself at any second and the only way to know for sure is to take it apart or pay a mechanic $800 to take it apart. I hate leaving bad reviews and there wasn't any actual malice involved, but they left me with a huge problem and didn't do anything to make it right. Never using Tire-Rama for an oil change again, and I would recommend that you take your car to a real shop that stands behind it's work for an oil change, or do it yourself. read more

Really appreciated the guys at Tire-Rama this season. They helped me select new All Purpose tires for my Jeep at a fair price, and their friendly and knowledgeable staff didn't try to up-sell me or make me feel stupid for my lack of knowledge. The downside is they are extremely busy, and they don't take appointments, so you may have to wait an hour or two once you bring in your vehicle. Fortunately, the mall is walking distance away, as is Ace Hardware and Pet-smart. I simply browsed these stores while I waited. read more

Employees are very friendly, HOWEVER I got my tires changed here 3 weeks ago. Last night one of my tires poped randomly while driving. Thank god I was only going 30 m.p.h. I went back today, they put on a new tire. They said that the tire pressure was twice as high as normal. Whoever put the tires on 3 weeks ago needs to check the tire pressure when installing new tires. YIKES. Always ask them for the tire pressure when getting new tires there. read more

I so desperately wanted to like this place - great location and good pricing. I have given it a good chance with 3 winter and 2 spring tire changes. However, I am fed up. 4 out of 6 times after a tire change, the car tires were not balanced properly. The car shakes so bad that it is uncomfortable to drive. This last time, I took the car back to have the tires rebalanced, instead of apologizing and going out of their way to make a customer happy, they were unhappy and let me know it. Also, I must say it is not first come, first serve. They always slip in customers they know well. So if you don't have a relationship with them, you will be waiting even though you got their ahead of other people. read more

This location of Tire Rama should be avoided at all cost. My wife recently got her oil "changed" here. She thought it was odd that upon leaving, the oil light was still on. I guess that happens sometimes. Anyway, fast forward two days and 50 miles, and the light was still on. She decided to check the oil level, and the dipstick was bone dry! The oil cap was smoked. She called me, and I had to bring her over 6 quarts of oil. They absolutely did not put any oil in. We checked the plug, tight. We checked her parking spot at work, and in our garage, not a drop of oil on either. There is simply no way the oil "leaked" out. It just wasn't put in. So, we figured this is a Montana company that stands behind their work. After all, 50 miles on a dry engine almost certainly did irreparable damage. Guess again. They immediately went into full denial mode. No sir, not us, it's impossible, we do things right EVERY TIME! This spineless company then turned things over to their insurance company, whose only purpose is to not pay out settlements. You know, that's how they turn a profit. The only way to determine if significant damage was done to the engine requires a full breakdown. Most likely damaged parts are cam bearings and piston rings. This runs between $3K and $4K. I'll give them credit. If they forget to install an 85-cent wheel weight, they'll probably own up to it. But when they permanently damage a vehicle's engine, they hide behind insurance companies. If you don't see a response to this review, that's how much they care about customer service. read more
