Used to be first come first serve, they have had my truck in the yard waiting for a rim for over a month, no calls no updates, just dropped off for new tires and next day two flats, needs a new rim all the sudden. Now it sits in the front of there shop, today had a flat so showed up at 7am as it's always been first come first serve, now after 1.5 hours we now take reservations so you might not be seen today for your flat tire, Will be making les swab the new goto tire shop from now on. read more

The entire staff here is incredible. We called about a dozen places with no luck to have a leak in our tire fixed and Billy told us to come right in. The place was packed but they took the tire and had it repaired in less than two hours. We pulled up and it was like a nascar pit crew ran out and put the tire on within minutes. Dropped off keys in the drop box at 7am. I filled out the envelope with all the necessary details and asked them to call me. At 10 am I called to follow up and was told that another rep was handling it and he would call me. 2pm, still no call so I called again. Rep informed me that he didn't have a ticket nor did he know anything about my vehicle. Once I explained to him that I dropped off my keys in the drop box I was informed that he could make me an appointment for a week later. No thank you. I've been taking my vehicles to this shop for 10+ years. The service is horrible. I will be going to another shop for all of my vehicles and suggest to any others to do the same. read more

I've had my snow tires put on by Interwest every year and always appreciated their good, fast service. However my husband and I were just there and were very surprised to see that NONE of the employees were wearing masks during the time when the cases here in Gallatin County are exploding! Normally I love interwest tire. They are reliable, fast, and fair. I called at 11 to see when my car would be done, I arrived at that time, 12:30, and it wasn't done. I came back 4 hours later, still not done. I had people waiting at my house, had to rearrange everything to wait for my tires to finally be done. One of the techs even went above and beyond to accommodate my request after it was finished by adjusting an existing hub so it would match the others which he didn't have to do as it came in not matching the other three on a two axle tow behind. I was there about 7 weeks ago and no employee had a mask on, they also weren't requesting customers to wear one. As I understand now they are appointment only. I've always been very satisfied with this crew but I was really disappointed to see this and be inside with no-one wearing a mask. I feel like they probably had to change this because they were getting complaints, but they should've done the responsible and noble thing and encouraged precautions that a proven effective to prevent the spread. read more

I went in here 3/5/19 to get a Truck tire looked at or fixed. Greeted with a smile at the front desk by 2 people. I was told to sit where I was outside and they'd get to me in a few minutes. After about 45 minutes another employee of theirs(name starts with a "c". I couldn't get it because he turned away as he was cursing at me. Kinda reddish hair I think) comes out and says "that other guy has to get out! " So I was about to move but I only repeated what they said inside... "They told me to sit right here but I'll move". His response.. "Just back up and get the F**K Out The Way!! ". and disappointed at the same time I just left. Called another tird shop "Tire Rama" which was at the same exit only .7 mile away. Buyer beware. I have to say this because I have safety concerns for everyone that has had tires put on here. This story starts with me having 4 new tires put on. The service was extremely fast and everything seemed great. I got on the interstate and had a bad vibration in the back from what felt like a tire out of balance. The following day I returned to have them rebalanced. Again was extremely fast, handed my keys to me and I was off. Vibration was worse. I needed to wait a fews days before I went back. Explained to the lady what was happening took my keys and in ten minutes was done and back on the road. Driving between Belgrade and Bozeman the shaking was worse. I decided to stop at Costco. Told them what was going on and they said they would have a look. They informed me that all four tires were out of balance and that one was so bad they took it off and reinstalled it. $25 later I left got on the interstate and it was as smooth as a...you know what I mean. The point is. The safety concern comes from what an employee told me they have been instructed to be fast, in and out as quickly as possible. Tire blew out on I-90 on my way from Washington to Bozeman. Went here for a new tire & they had me in & out in about 30 mins. They noticed one of my studded tires was on backwards (didn't even know they went on a specific way) & put it on correctly, rotated all my tires, & checked the other 3 all for free. I cannot say enough good things about this tire store. I've had so many unpleasant experiences around the valley (including BigO bending the frame of a van and then not owning the damage they did that was so bad the van was totaled). Every encounter I've had with Interwest has been GREAT! Just as an example, in shopping for snow tires this year Costco had told me the wrong size for my vehicle so when I decided to go with Interwest I erroneously used the size information I had from Costco. Interwest still got me the correct size and installed them without issue. Even when it is a busy tire changeover season their staff is gracious and courteous and gets the job done. I love that they don't take appointments and just work on a first come first serve basis. Highly recommend! Worth the drive to Belgrade if you live in Bozeman. read more

You cannot have a better experience. I had them evaluate my truck tires for replacement. They rotated them, checked the air pressure, and handed me my keys saying, "You still have plenty of tread." I tried to pay for their rotating services. They said, "No charge!" When I finally did need new tires, they gave me an excellent price on a very high quality set. I was recommended Interwest tires by a couple people. Those people both raved about how good the technicians took care of the customers. I visited Interwest and priced out some tires. The prices were great in relation to others in the area. They mounted my tires and offered free balancing and rotating for the life of the tire (I have been charged for "free" balancing and rotating from other corporate tire stores in Bozeman). This shop was recommended to me by a young lady who works at an oil change shop. I called and spoke to Wes, told him what I needed, and he recommended two different tires. He gave me a price, I looked the tire up on Amazon, and his (mounted, balanced) tires were less than Amazon. So they changed our tires for an affordable price, but after we left the shop our check engine light turned on & the car started shaking. We had never experienced anything like this with our vehicle before. Assuming the tires may have been off balance or something of that nature, we returned back to Interwest where they ran diagnostics. The test showed there was a misfire of some sort, but they told us it was nothing to worry about & just turned the light off. Fast forward 2 weeks: we took our car to another shop in Salt Lake City because the shaking hadn't stopped & they replace our ignition coil leaving our car driving good as new. Nice enough, but be weary of people who rush you out the door when there's an obvious issue. read more

I'd give them a zero if it was available!! Today my wife got a flat tire, no where to stop without blocking traffic, so what does one do in a situation like that? Only thing a SMART person would do to avoid causing harm to many others driving along that road......drive to nearest spot to be able to pull over! Ok, with that said... we went on vacation back in August and driving through Belgrade Montana decided to purchase some new tires at a location I had previously had trust in for many many years....which is now part of Point S tires. Everything was pretty good, however a guy named Cody Wiseman there was kind of arrogant, but no matter, they still got me in changed my tires and explained that my tires would be covered "no matter what" in any of the locations in the little brochure they gave me with my receipt of purchase. Ok so far so good, tires were great. Then today happened. We go into the Meridian Idaho location and they tell me it's not under warranty because it was driven on while flat, even if we had to get out of the flow of traffic to not cause any harm to anyone else on the road which I THINK IS IMPORTANT!!! So I ask ok, so there has to be something that can be done due to the circumstances....guy in meridian told me to call that location, so he called for me...talked to Cody Wiseman....NOPE, nothing, no compromises or anything....so I call him up personally to see what can be done. I tell Cory Wiseman there the issue and he says sorry I cannot help your stupidity, I say, excuse me?? Did you just call us stupid? And he says, NO, I called YOU stupid!! For one, everyone knows that driving on a flat can damage more than just a tire and NO ONE would normally do this....however, AGAIN, under the circumstances this was not the right thing to do for everyone else around. Now, each Point S Tire is locally owned and there really is no Corporate number to call to get this guy fired or even reprimanded for the behavior he displayed over the phone to us. The guys in the Meridian Idaho store were shocked and and a bit embarrassed to say the least when they heard it. They explained to me that it was very unprofessional of him to do and that even at their store in this situation they'd have replaced the tire for me for nothing based on the circumstances. But this guy, the very moral and great guy that he is NOT, did not even flinch before he called us stupid. Also, the meridian idaho store pulled out this warranty pamphlet to show the warranty and I was confused a bit because in the envelope that I was given at the Belgrade Montana store, they gave me my receipt and a brochure of the locations that would honor anything that happened to my tires.....what I DID NOT RECEIVE, was that very pamphlet of warranty information...regardless of the lack of ability to even do a simple mundane task to provide this, being that it is part of their job to do, there are far more problems with that location. If he is the owner, manager what have you, don't expect any thing good, I have to assume that his parents raised him better than that then to just outright call people stupid when just listening to their story/circumstance, I was not even barely into describing what had happened before he just immediately called us stupid. I hope this finds the masses and I hope that karma prevails here. This guy should not be in business or if he is not the owner, then he needs to be relieved of his duties to move on to another company that approves of that kind of intolerant behavior. I can say that not all Point S Tire locations are like that one, But because of his inadequate ability to be a professional, it cost me another $212 to basically get my tire fixed. I've done business with Tire Factory for over 15 years. I've bought all my tires for personal and work through them: trucks, cars, forklift. Of the three vehicles parked in my driveway, I have five sets of tires from Tire Factory. I've gone to get tires rotated or swapped three times in the last month. Showed up at 7:45 on a Sat. morning and there were 20 people waiting outside so I drove away. Went back later in the week and I was asked if I could leave my truck for a day or two. Didn't have a ride so I said I'd come back. Came back a few weeks later to drop a vehicle off and I was asked if I could come back the following week because their lot was full. Last set of tires I bought were $1k special order mud tires. I never heard back from them so I called. They sold the tires to someone else so they had to reorder. These guys used to be great, but they have grown so big so fast that they can't keep up with themselves. They are a large business that tries to operate like a ma and pa's and it just doesn't work anymore. They don't do appointments and the first come first served never seems to work out. So when I called them this morning I thought the lady on the phone had an attitude but they must have been busy or something. Still a little more up beat on the phone to customers never hurts! Anyway, we had a screw in our tire so I brought it in. Literally about 15 minutes later I got a call saying they were done and that I had no rush picking it up! Which was nice because I thought it was going to take a while so I went to lunch with my mom. When I went to pick it up it was quick, got the keys and she said no charge! Luckily the tow truck driver from Big Sky went out of there way to find and tow our vehicle to Tire rama which was just as busy. But they made time for us. Great company! I have been taking my car (1981) there for 3 years. They always take great care of it and provide fast service. I needed to have some work done on it last year for some rotor work done and they spent the extra time removing the rust buildup without a single complaint! I was just in there recently as well to have my tires rotated on my other truck and the survive was fast and well done. Gave Interwest a second chance after my 1st bad experience. When they took my keys to check out a small leak in a tire the girl put my keys in the "Done" pile. After waiting for over 1 hour went to ask the status and was told it was done, leak fixed. Well they never even touched my car. 2nd chance and final - Bought 4 new Cooper tires waited 2 1/2 hours, as they do not take appointments, to get on. Was told they will do a front end alignment at time of the new tires being put on. Guess what - No front alignment (to busy) and my front tire was off balance. Had to go back next day. I still have to go back for alignment. 3rd and totally done-Saw there is a rebate on my Cooper tires! Thanks for letting me know Interwest!! My only wish is that they did basic service for example oil changes.
