My car was up on the hydraulic jack and the spare mounted within five minutes. It seemed the service agent couldn't care less about selling me a set of tires. When she told me they did not have my desired models on hand or available in their warehouses she did not even offer alternatives. I had to ask a series of questions to even get her to respond. We finally agreed on a set and I made an appointment to have them installed. I had a very uncomfortable feeling when I left the dealership...the tires seemed quite expensive and the customer service was severely lacking. I searched other dealers the next day and found the tires I wanted (much less cost wise) and canceled my order with Les Schwab. Very disappointed in what had once been my 'go to' stores for tire services.

They were knocking it out within minutes, right there in the lot... 40 minutes, to be exact, from arrival to departure. We had 4 new tires & never felt as if we were inconveniencing anyone. I was surprised by the contrast in the service we experienced and the reports from others. As a matter of fact, one gentleman was kind enough to direct traffic for us to back the camper out! That brings me to the 1 star deduction, it is NOT related to service, product or pricing. It wasn't very easy to access the garages/lot with a tow & our camper is a short 17' - I could certainly see that being problematic for larger vehicles. Last week, Steve confirmed he had Blizzak snow tires in stock, said he would reserve them, and scheduled my appointment. I verified in advance because I live 60 miles away. This morning I drove 110 miles round trip, took time off work, arrived on time, checked in, and the work order was correct. The lobby was empty. After over two hours, I was told: "We're sorry -- we don't have your snow tires. We must have sold them." Then they said they were pulling my car up. No call. No warning. No attempt to resolve the issue -- despite this being a safety-related tire replacement. I left and went to Les Schwab, where I had new snow tires installed immediately. I am now an ex-Firestone customer. This Bozeman location wasted my time and broke a clear inventory promise. Do not rely on Firestone's word if you're traveling any distance.
