Local tip- Saturday special: Large pizzas for the price of a small. Small eatery tucked between Richfield and Edina serving up American fare with a specialty in "award winning pizzas". I can confidently say that I believe the hype- our pizzas were delicious with a savory tomato sauce, blended cheeses and bountiful toppings. Service is kind, laid back and gives the hometown vibe. You walk out feeling like a regular and that's really cool. 5/5

    Ice Cream Sandwich

The entire rating is dedicated to food, which overall could use some improvement. My friend and I came to have a good time and overall we managed to do so, especially with the courtesy that our server was able to demonstrate. I will mainly elaborate on the food below. For the Asian fries, having boneless short rib on top of the fries was a good idea as it offered the option to have succulent meat on top of the fries. However, the thai sauce became too potent as I started finishing the fries on the top, and started dominating the taste, to the point that it became too sweet eventually. I think reducing the amount of sauce, or spreading the sauce around more, would help all the fries obtain that sweetness the sauce provides, and not make one part of the dish too much while another part not enough. I have had the Philly as well, along with onion rings as the side. The onion rings had way too much dough outside the onions, and one bite felt like I was mainly tasting fried dough. The best part about the sandwich was the bread, as it had an adequate amount of crunch along with a toasted taste. The roast beef was overall pretty good as well. The onion pieces were a bit too small, while the green pepper pieces were undercooked so they were a bit hard. The proolone cheese was all on top and unfortunately did not mesh with everything else in the sandwich, to the point that I actually was able to remove the cheese by itself away from the sandwich. I would love to see the cheese mixed within everything else to become an integral part of the sandwich instead. For the ice cream sandwich, the idea is great, as the cookies along with the ice cream offered two kinds of sweets. Letting it last for a bit longer before eating made it better because as the cookies softened, one pierce with the fork allowed my friend and me to eat both the cookie and the ice cream in one bite. I must also mention that the place can get very noisy in the evening. My friend and I went on a Friday evening at around 7:30pm and it was very loud. This is just neutral information and something for people who intend to go there consider what vibe they are looking for.

I met up with a friend for dinner and heard this place was good. Plus they had a nice patio. They have private small parking lot and some street side parking. We ordered some buffalo chicken wings, lightly battered cauliflowers with ranch and Alfredo pasta with chicken. We split the pasta dish into 2 since sit was a good portion. The buffalo wings were good and crispy. The battered cauliflower dipped into ranch was yummy. The Alfredo pasta was super delicious along with our garlic bread that came with it. Service was fast and friendly. I would definitely come back to try other items from the menu!

Came back here because we were in the mood for pizza. We love the pepper pizza, but decided to try the calzone. Very tasty! Lots of cheese in that sucker. We tried the onion ring appetizer. I liked the batter, but it was burnt. And that was after waiting for another order after our first order fell on the floor! The onion rings were $15 and a little on the pricy side. Sad day for us The onion rings had some of the thinnest onion slices I've ever had in an onion ring. They look ginormous but it's all breading. I love onion rings and this was a disappointment. If you want some of the best onion rings head over to Mad Cow in Eagan. Friendly service at least.

Great food, great service. We ordered a pizza and cheesy bread, and the cheesy bread is TDF! Would go back just for that! Need to go back when the patio is open, as it looked inviting, even in the winter.

Fairly forgeable pizza shop with interesting decor. I will premise with this review that we did stop by with a large group of about 12ish? people. That being said, the experience was underwhelming. The place was understaffed, it took quite some time to get our drink, food orders, and checks. I think it was 2 people running FoH with our table and like 9 others. They were friendly and had a smile on their face, but you could tell it was a lot of hustling and bustling to get things done. I walked by here, but there's parking out front and some patio seating as well. It does face the main road, so personally was not partial to sit out since the traffic was zipping past. I decided to split a large buffalo chicken ranch pizza with a friend and was disappointed. The pizza size was good, but the flavor was very lackluster. Chicken quality was okay. The cheese was very bland. And the most important part, imho, the crust was ... just there. We asked others in our party about their food and came to the same opinion. I had a slice of the plain cheese pizza, and it word frozen comes to mind, minus a friendly Snowman. I really want to like the place since the decor makes it interesting, but being a foodie, flavor comes first. And while the decor was unique, it wasn't really integrated with the dining experience either.

Never have a bad meal. I absolutely LOVE the mules!!!! Absolutely. We have had the Kentucky, Midwest, Irish whisky and Carribean. I can't get enough of them. I've also never had a bad meal either. Everything we get we are super happy with. We love going on Mondays. All day 2 for 1. Going around 8-8:30 because they are open until 11, is great too! Not a lot of people and the parking is great? Front of the restaurant! When it's summer it's great because being outside is perfect. Speaking as an O positive blood type, the mosquitos love us, and I don't feel ANY there! I'd be inside of I did. Very romantical if you go there with your husband on date night. I love this place!!!

Another winner. Love this cozy neighborhood place! Next time I'm sitting outside by the fire pit. Ahi tuna salad, pan fried walleye with salad and garlic mash, and their specialty Asian short ribs which were awesome. Great service and a happy place to spend an evening.

So disappointed. We loved FiresidePizza. This is not the same. The crust was soft and mushy. We threw it away.

Check in to getting seated went fine, it was our immediate servers attitude and snarky demeanor that really turned us off. From taking basic food orders to clearing the table, this server literally had stank face, she didn't even try to hide it. I fear this was racially motivated, from the moment we sat down this server had an attitude. This was my first time experiencing something like this at an upscale restaurant. Everyone liked their food and I'm certain I'll return for the incredible vibe. They had fun cocktails and the atmosphere is truly stunning, they have a huge wrap around outdoor patio and the indoor greenhouse feel of the rooftop dining area was unmatched. I'm hoping to come back and allow this spot to redeem itself. I understand that the restaurant doesn't have control over the attitudes of servers but if you know you're having a large party for a birthday, assign a staff member that is competent enough to handle the request.

Back to Pink Ivy. The service is quality. Our reserved table was ready when we arrived. The reservation policy may seem "strict", but if you can live with needing to provide a 24 cancel notice, I think you will find the service is good because the business doesn't get slammed by unexpected high demand. Wait person timing was off a tad when we first sat down. It felt a little rushed as we order our drinks and considered a starter. In fairness, a table of 16-20 followed us in so the wait person may have been doing us a favor. But it did influence my four star rating. Otherwise I'd have given 5 stars. Great care was taken when wait person checked for allergies. Not just asked, but noted and went to the kitchen to confirm. During the meal, flatware was changed out between courses, water refilled without disruption and the order arrived on time and all at one time. Our group enjoyed the halibut, salmon, and chicken bacon meatball items. Everyone loved their meals. A few of us ordered and split salads. We passed on desserts. The menu range may not be pages long, but all the usual suspects are there; salads, fish, poultry, beef, and pasta. And I know the chef rotates items on the menu. I encourage you to plan ahead.
