This was my second time visiting this restaurant, the first was 3 years ago for a birthday dinner on a weekend evening. On this occasion, my wife and I came on a weeknight because we wanted to check out some living room furniture in their beautiful gallery that's connected. Pricey, but gorgeous as if you're walking through a magazine. Chicken Roasted Sandwich - 10/10 This is so simple, but literally cooked to perfection. I'm obsessed with this aioli sauce. Perfectly moist chicken. Maybe I was really hungry but I can't think of anything to improve this dish. Petite Baked Potato - The Classic - 9.3/10 So buttery and good, love the crème fresh, has a classic steakhouse feel Artichokes - 7.5/10 These are more of my wife's thing, but enjoyed them and the sliced potatoes. Wine (Robert Hall) - 8.8/10 Very nice cab Overall the atmosphere is exquisite, on the rooftop of the building with a view of Edina. Lots of sun streaming in during the day. I came in with modest expectations and didn't recall the meal blowing me away the first time, but the meal really exceeded my expectations the second visit. My only complaint was that they charged us $10 for each bottle of water (still and sparking). C'mon folks, we're not in Europe and would be nice to have a heads up for a silly up-charge. Regardless, I think this restaurant is a great experience and more of a special occasion spot due to the pricing and country club feel.

Love the service, location, building, and food. Perfect for a brunch or date night. The drinks are a little overpriced, specially mocktails, but otherwise priced well. Great place.

I had a great lunch here recently. There was wonderful service, everyone was very professional and helpful. I really liked the caviar blinis and the cheese board, they were the perfect appetizers. The grilled Branzino was also cooked perfectly. I would definitely come back again

After wandering through magazine quality showrooms, why not stop for a glamorous meal. However the food at RH anything but. The crispy artichokes were nice and the kale Caesar salad was interesting, but didn't really give Caesar salad vibes. It was just a bunch of kale with copious Parmesan on top. I did not like the lobster roll. A better way to describe it would be a handful of under salted and butter-less lobster sitting on top of a loaf of bread. Not an actually sandwich/roll. I understand that à La Carte is often the way to go at expensive restaurants, but I was disappointed at having to make my own meal. For $56 for a piece of salmon, some broccolini, and potato puree, I want a chef to actually curate something for me, not make me put together disparate items and hope they work well. Create a dish with a protein, a vegetable, and a starch, and if it sounds good I'll bite, literally. The real highlight though was that butterscotch crème brûlée, so we ordered two! Plus, our server brought a few cookies for our birthday. While we had great service and the rooftop ambiance was spot on, I don't think RH lives up to their prices.

Long overdue, but after visiting here multiple times, I figured I should give readers an idea of what to expect upon visiting here. I have been here three times in 2021 and 2022 and have always had brunch, and overall I liked their food. It was already not that affordable during that time, so one can imagine how much more dishes cost now. There was clearly a reason that the RH Scramble stayed on the menu for many years and I could attest to it. The scrambled eggs were very tender and flavorful, and abundant in amount. I could taste that they added crème fraîche and I knew that made a difference. Having a piece of avocado next to the eggs was a huge plus, too. The shaved ribeye on charred garlic bread dish was great as well, with the ribeye cooked to medium and remained juicy, making the entire sandwich a rich and pleasant one. The avocado toast leaned towards the simple side because there was a poached egg on the side, which I thought was a good enough idea. The potato purée had good soft texture but was too buttery in taste. Almost every other side dish, from the truffle fries to the charred broccolini to the wild mushrooms, were way too salty, and the vegetables were pretty dry. It was clear what dishes the establishment had chosen to prioritize. One highlight worth mentioning was that the decoration was one of the fanciest I have seen in the cities, with chandeliers on the ceiling and everything in the room looking like quartz or silver, to the point that when I first came here for brunch, my friends and I all decided to dress up.

I thought this place would be all looks and no flavor if we're being honest but was really pleasantly surprised. Their omelette was amazing and loved my steak salad. Service was great and of course the rooftop itself was beautiful. The sandwiches were also really good too! Looking forward to visiting the other locations :)

I hadn't been here ever then ended up having two visits within a week of each other. The first was a work meeting for lunch where I had the Cobb salad and shared the fries. So good. I love the freshness of the salad ingredients and the salty, crispness of the skinny fries. The second visit was for a birthday celebration. We shared the grilled shrimp for an appetizer. Cooked perfectly and tasty. For dinner I chose the Branzino which came as a whole fish, head, tail and all. It was delicious. The meat was the perfect temp and the taste was outstanding. No bones were found. Others at my table had the filet and ribeye steaks and they all loved the taste and preparedness of their choices. Since the fries were so good on my first visit, we split fries again and they were crispy, salty and perfect. Since it was my husband's birthday, he got a gooey chocolate chip cookie and a candle. We also split the banana split and the butterscotch crème brûlée. The banana split was phenomenal. Bananas were split and had a nice crust on one side. Three big scoops of ice cream accompanied and caramel was poured over the entire dessert. It was so good. The crème brûlée was also prepared perfectly and the crispness of the crust complimented the eggy custard. Service was excellent both times. The atmosphere is beautiful with glass ceiling and walls, lots of greenery, and many twinkling lights to create an intimate vibe. We were so happy to have RH Rooftop be the place where we celebrated a birthday.

We had an amazing experience at RH Rooftop Restaurant and this is easily one of my favorite stops so far on my restaurant list. The space is absolutely stunning -- the chandeliers, fountain, and natural light make it feel elegant and upscale, but still comfortable. It's one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel like you picked the right spot. Even the smaller details stand out -- the decor and tables are unlike anything I've experienced before, and even the bathrooms are unique and thoughtfully designed. The food definitely lived up to the atmosphere. My steak was cooked really well with a great char and paired perfectly with the peppercorn sauce. The mini baked potato was delicious, and I tried my partner's puréed potatoes which were incredibly silky and smooth. We were dining with a friend who ordered the lobster roll -- she said the flavor was good, but it was a little dry. Service was a standout. Our server was beautiful, kind, and very helpful, and she even surprised me, which made the whole experience feel extra special. She also loved that I'm working through a restaurant list, which made it feel fun and personal. Overall, I absolutely love this place and will definitely be back. Between the atmosphere, food, and service, it felt like a full experience -- not just a meal.

Fun dinner place with beautiful atmosphere and decor. My daughter loves going and getting dressed up because it feels very fancy. The food has always been fresh and good. We enjoyed everything. It is a bit pricey but everything always tastes good so once in awhile it's worth it. Service is good as far as being attentive and answering all questions about the menu but I will say the few times we went they do lack a little warmth or friendliness.

    Smelly hedge.

We were seated right on time for our reservation and the host greeted us warmly. They sat us at a table that had two chairs and a small padded booth. Immediately we were overtaken with a putrid stench, similar to cat urine. For 30 minutes, we smelled everything around us (cloth napkins, chair cushions, ourselves) even accusing the table next to us, trying to figure out the smell, which would assault us in waves. I finally smelled the boxwood hedges behind us and discovered it was coming from them! Management should review. Of course, the ambience is excellent and the food was super delicious. We ordered the grilled shrimp for an appetizer and we both ordered the whole fish dish. Other than lots of bones, the fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I recommend the potato purée and asparagus sides. It was my sister's birthday and they came by with a warm complimentary chocolate chip cookie with a lit candle on it; very sweet gesture. We ordered the Affogato dessert which was delicious but the ice cream was way too frozen and it was hard to spoon out, to incorporate with the espresso. Overall, we were impressed I will definitely go back.

This restaurant is located on the top floor of RH. There is plenty of parking. It is beautifully decorated. The service was good, water was refilled without having to ask. The menu is somewhat limited. Everything is served a la carte. If you want sides then you must order them separately. This increases the price of your meal dramatically. The food itself was prepared well, but not worth the price. This is one of those restaurants where you are paying a premium for the ambiance. It was nice to visit once, but I will not return.

What a beautiful place to have supper! My daughter and I had an early supper before we went to a musical and RH Rooftop was perfect! We loved the glass ceiling and fountain making it feel like you are outside. The lobster roll was fantastic and I loved the peach Bellini. It did take a while to get our bill but overall, the service was good. I would love to go back to try other menu items.

Food was fantastic but they need more vegan dinner options and sauces! Ambiance is dim lit, date night vibes. Service matches the ambiance and $$$.

Is there a full bar for cocktails? I see only beer and wine on the online menu.

They only have wine, beer and champagne

Can I bring a baby here for a cocktail at 6 pm on a Sunday?

Not sure if that would be ok, you may want to call and inquire.

Is this place baby friendly during dinner service?

I would seriously doubt it. I'd call them to check.

We are doing a small celebration for a friend - can we bring in balloons?

yes, I was here in mid-July and saw a table near mine that brought balloons!

We were coming from an appointment in Edina and assumed we'd be waiting for a while, but that wasn't the case at all. We walked in, I ran to the restroom, and they were already ready for us. The Edina location does feel a bit tight, I'm not sure why, but I would definitely recommend using the waitlist during peak times or you'll likely be waiting (there are several benches available to hang out on if you are waiting). The sourdough French toast is always my go-to, especially paired with their bacon. I should have gone with the short stack this time. That bacon is so good. I'm not sure were they get it from, but I'm a fan. Our food came out really fast. We were in and out in about 35 minutes. Typically, OPH is a five star experience, and based on the food alone, it absolutely still is. For me, the service fell a bit short this time. Both our server and others seemed a little off. For example, as we were leaving, I paused to let a server finish dropping off food at a nearby table. It was taking a bit, so I carefully moved past, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. She turned and almost ran right into me, and the look I got in return just felt off. That said, it was Mother's Day, so giving some grace. Just not quite the usual experience.

The service was tolerable considering the fact it is only one waitress covering the place (about 15-20 people could max out the place; It's a very small spot). But my wait wasn't that long to be seated because I came right when someone left. Took about 15 minutes before my order was taken and about 30 minutes to receive my food. The ambiance...not that great. It's a small and cramped, elongated, diner-style bar top where it actually does feel like you're in your kitchen. But here was the problem, it was very unsanitary. Audible buzzing of multiple flies and seeing them land everywhere and the kitchen was just so disappointing to look at. The chef prepared food with his bare hands and cross contaminated constantly. Now I can be impartial to the fact that at home, most people do this. However, when you're preparing, serving, and selling food, it's just unacceptable. This place needs more employees and a bigger space because there are health code violations here. I'm sure if those two things were provided, they would be more intentional about avoiding these mistakes.

When my party of 3 arrived at 12 pm on a Saturday, we were told the wait would be about 30 min. That's ok--we had ample time to walk over to see Bde Maka Ska and back--the total wait ended up being 50 min. Once we sat down and ordered, the food took another 50 min to arrive. That being said, the food was honestly great! I really liked the crispness of the hash browns, and toast was yummy. Portion sizes are massive here; my friends wanted to share a short stack on top of their own meals but didn't make a dent in it. Luckily, the workers were all really nice and helpful. We got to-go boxes (paper so it's easy for reheating later!) and a bag. There is a 4% discount if you pay in cash. The receipt wasn't itemized whatsoever though, so that can make it hard to split the bill if you come here with friends.

He charged me the $6.50 for the latte listed on the menu, then $1.50 for one "Xtra Espresso Shot," then $4.00 for an "Espresso." When I questioned it, he brought the menu and tried to say it's $4.00 for an espresso so he was being nice by not charging $8.00 for the 2 add shots... BRO, you have a button ON THE REGISTER for "Xtra Espresso Shot" for a reason. You hit it twice for 2 add shots on the latte I'm already paying for. $3.00 for 2 add shots on a latte is reasonable, $5.50 is insane. Should have been $9.50 for a double dirty chai latte, he charged me $12.00 and thought he was being nice not charging $14.50. And it wasn't even good. Won't be coming back. Disappointed. I shouldn't even be surprised, but I was so shocked I am already writing this review right after we got home. This place is soooo overrated.

From the beginning, she seemed like she just did NOT want to be there. No hello, no welcome, nothing. It was basically just, "What do you want?" We gave her our order and didn't think too much of it at first, but that same attitude continued throughout the entire meal. Every time she brought something to the table, she would basically just drop it off and walk away. SUPER UNFRIENDLY. Now...the food. The mozzarella sticks were okay, but the marinara tasted like a really cheap store-bought sauce. My husband ordered an omelet, which was actually good, and the hash browns were okay too, the pancakes weren't bad either. But the coffee was HORRIBLE. I don't know if it was the beans, the way it was brewed, or what happened, but it was so bad I couldn't even drink it. And somehow the chocolate French silk pie was even worse I took ONE bite and couldn't continue. It had this really greasy, artificial chocolate flavor, almost like you could taste the fat more than the actual chocolate. What made the experience even worse was that the waitress never came back to ask if we were doing okay, if we needed anything, or if we wanted to order something else (Not even once) we actually wanted to order another dish, but she never checked on us. Eventually, we asked for the check. She took our payment, turned around, and walked away without saying anything. We then had to ask for our receipt because she didn't offer one. She grabbed it and TOSSED it onto our table. (No "thank you," no "have a good day," nothing). I don't expect someone to be overly cheerful or constantly checking on us, but basic courtesy goes a long way. At the end if she has personal problems going on she should've known how to separate work from personal life, is either that, or she hate her job.
