Ordered a burger, fries, and butterfinger malt to go. All of which were average, didn't seem to have any flavors or features that set it apart from average fast food restaurants. The service was meh...not sure that I saw the cashier smile at all, felt a bit rushed. This place is quite small and vintage but can be okay for small groups. Decent amount of parking.

I came in from a recommendation for some co-workers. If to a cheeseburger with cheddar cheese (a few options) and a side of onion rings. I also got a chocolate banana shake to go. The burger was decent and I liked the onion ring. Definitely hit the spot for just a basic burger. The staff was friendly. The prices are good.

Burgers, onion rings and malts... oh boy! Little league heaven and a fun place to stop and eat. Service was fast and the food and drinks were exactly as expected. Enjoy!

Drove and saw SNUFFYS and was immediately intrigued. My copilot and I knew this was the moment to pull the car over and give the Snuffs a shot. Dehydrated, exhausted and desperate for sustenance...we came inside. We were welcomed by the biggest smiles and seated instantly. When I say the burger dripped deliciousness and tasted like the heavens had opened up and a stream of sweet golden light was shining down...I'm not exaggerating. Juicy with the perfect bun to meat ratio...thank you sweet Snuffy...thank you! PS I'll never forget the sound of the first crunch from the waffle fries and when the sweet, creamy malt touched my parched lips...the angels sang!

My untouched portion of waffle fries!

Nice family diner atmosphere. Patty melt was really good and so was the malt, and the service. I would definitely eat there again.

Chef Pedro took our order (bonus points) and we had a lovely conversation about New Orleans. The menu here has a lot of New Orleans food intertwined. Based on where Pedro previously worked in New Orleans, he has an outstanding culinary background. I was going to order the Muffaletta, which can be served hot or cold, but they were out. When I heard why, I was impressed. In New Orleans, the gold standard of bread is Leidenheimer. Minnesota doesn't have the same bread (Trung Nam Bakery is the closest substitute). Pedro uses Leidenheimer for his Muffalettas. Pedro also makes his own olive salad. I am looking forward to trying a Muffaletta. My husband ordered the Zambon Dip and really enjoyed it. I had the Herb Brooks Focaccia. It was great. Big portions. What is really funny is I knew the North Stars as I worked at the Met Center. Fun memorabilia too. On street parking and some tables outside. What we used to call a neighborhood joint. Stop in and say hi to Pedro. Now I just wish he would make Gumbo with some okra and filé.

I wasn't super hungry so I decided to get a bowl of wild rice soup. The sandwiches looked like the thing to get so maybe another visit when I'm more hungry. The soup was good. I ate it on the sidewalk patio. Not a lot of cars passing by so it was nice. There is so much North Star memorabilia in this super small space. I love that a 9-in tv was playing a video of caddy shack. I feel like I stepped back in time. Oh yeah, and Norm Sucks.

Being 5 minutes from our destination we decided to give it a try And boy are we glad we did! The sammiches weee absolutely outstanding. They come with a smorgasbord of toppings, so you need to peruse the list to determine if there is anything you DON'T want. We had three turkey sammiches and one ham, and everyone chose to modify their toppings slightly (note/ if you desire tomatoes, those need to be added as they oddly aren't on included in the smorgasbord ‍) I opted for everything - perhaps a bit anxious about how well all the flavours would mesh (mayo, mustard, horseradish, oil and vinegar along with various toppings). But you know something / it worked really really well. We also chose the potato salad as a side and it was also quite tasty. Lighter, northerly mayo's. While the sammiches weee being constructed we perused the offering in the attached grocery. Everything oooed fantastic and if we lived Locally, I would certainly be a regular - with an eye to trying many of their offerings beyond the sandwich counter.

On one side is a meat market with a variety of cuts of steaks, lamb, and other meats, which all looked fresh and quite nice. They also have a variety of items such as canned goods, pasta, eggs, etc. on the shelves opposite the meat counter. The entire place is quite sunny, pleasant, and cozy. On the other side is the eat-in, take-out deli sandwiches, that are made to order. The quality of the ingredients is excellent. The bread is freshly made (crispy baguette type) and you have a choice of Roast Beef, Roast Turkey, Tuna Salad, Smoked Ham, or Corned Beef. All sandwiches are $16.50 each (including tax) and come with a choice of mayonnaise, spicy stone ground mustard, red leaf lettuce, thin sliced red onion, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, raw grated horseradish, pickled jalapeno, and roasted bell pepper. The default includes all toppings so if you don't want everything, be sure to specify what you do NOT want. Surprisingly, they do not carry any diet soda, nor do they stock any national brands (only local pop). There is a large menu on the wall, and you order at the counter and pick up the order (no table service). The food was attractively presented, and very, very good. My only gripe (besides the lack of diet pop) is that it's on the expensive side for lunch. Two sandwiches, a couple of bags of chips, and a couple of cans of pop will easily top $40, although I'd say the quality is top-notch.

We ordered the charcuterie board, which looked great at first glance until you realize it's an (extremely) salted pretzel, though that was the best part of it- along with (packaged) thin slices of cheese cut in half, canned black olives, pepperochinis, regular deli meat (ham and salami), bitter slivered almonds you'd find in the "sundae toppings" section at the grocery store, and maybe 3 cherry tomatoes sliced in half. Not to mention a handful of plain spring mix and shredded carrots, I see the vision but none of it went well together, and cost $18- for something I could have made for $3 TOPS at home. We ordered a margarita pizza, $17 for 10 inches, which was disappointing as the pizza looked like the best part of the restaurant. A bit soggy and not as distinct as what you'd expect from a margarita. Who knows, maybe the specialty pizzas could have been better. Overall, we had a friendly waiter- I love the ambiance, but the quality of ingredients are WELL below the price and extremely disappointing, even coming in on an empty stomach. Though I believe there is a lot of potential for this restaurant.

When I popped into Patrick's Deli in Edina today and ordered their Roseberry Shakerato -- it was waiting for me (& you?) ... something special I didn't know I needed but it stood out. How can I not order a decaf Roseberry Shakerato? Made with decaf espresso, this beautiful shaken drink arrived in a tall glass with perfect layers and a luxurious foam (the photo really doesn't lie!). The star is that dreamy swirl of pink rose-and-raspberry whipped topping on top. It's creamy, fragrant, and -- most importantly -- genuinely not too sweet. The rose and berry accents are elegant and balanced, finished with rose petals and a touch of pink crumble petals for texture. Every sip felt like a little celebration: floral, jazzy, uplifting, and just plain joyful. This is sophisticated, refreshing, and fun all at once. Whether you're doing decaf like me or going full caffeine, Patrick's Deli has created something special here. I'll absolutely be back. If you're anywhere nearby, treat yourself.
