I'm giving it a fiver yall! I don't always do that but it's safe to give burger dive a A++. We received gift card from the DICKs sporting goods grand opening that we were invited to and took advantage for lunch. Thanks for the gift card for @burgerdivemn These burgers were Seasoned smash burgers were smashingggg House burger Onion burger BLT burger I had the wedge burger with blue cheese dressing it was delicious the burgers were perfectly seasoned with a crispy crust around the edges of the smash burger. I'm normally not big on ordering burgers when I'm out because I feel disappointed each time with lack of flavor despite all of the crazy toppings but burger dive delivered. To top it off our cashier was dressed as a banana - that was the best!

Small menu. Fairly quick service. Order at register and seat yourself. Burger was tasty but only served with pickles and an onion dill sauce. Would have been better if they offered a set up for those who want lettuce, tomatoes, and actual onions. The chicken sandwich was big although very bland but did actually have a tomato and lettuce. The jalapeño curds were not spicy unless you ate it with an actual jalapeño which was disappointing and it came with no sauce. Fries were also not exciting but made to taste okay with the Cajun seasoning. Pretty pricy for what we ordered. The place wasn't busy and easy to find seating. It appeared clean.

Turkey burgers have consistently disappointed me when I've had them in the past. But the "Give Thanks for Turkey Burger" from Burger Dive in the Rosedale Mall did not disappoint. Delicious!

Visited Potluck on a Saturday around 1:30 in the afternoon and decided to try some of the State "Fare" foods, including these Burger Curds from Burger Dive. This review is a reflection of their burger curds and not their regular menu. Wow. I didn't know what to expect with these "curds"- are they cheese? Burger bits? They looked cool either way. We grabbed two orders and they combined the order into one container which was nice. These Burger Curds are cheese curds covered in seasoning, burger pieces and pickles. They were awesome! The seasoning on these were fantastic, they tasted like a well seasoned patty. The pickles were a great touch as well. I wish these would've come with ketchup but otherwise tasted great. If this was a normal menu item I would definitely get them again.

    Looks better than it taste!

Terrible service waiting 30 minutes for some cold chicken tenders. They weren't busy at all, just a bunch employees talking in the back!

This place is an absolute GEM! I have had a lot of burgers in my time but the house burger here was the best burger I've ever had in my life!!! Seasoned to perfection! I would love to go to the actual burger dive restaurant in st Paul and have more menu items!!! Definitely recommend if you are a burger snob like myself!!! :)

    Takeout lobster roll

I've been to the one of off Randolph and I really enjoyed their House Burger. Now you might think I'm crazy because I didn't order a burger here. I ordered the lobster roll and I can tell you, I was not disappointed. I ordered the lobster roll to-go so they did not put it all together for me. In my takeout box was a beautiful toasted and buttered top split bun, a pickle spear, wedge of lemon, a small bag of original kettle chips and the lobster in its own container. In my opinion, they give a healthy amount of lobster. Inside, I found chunks of lobster tail and whole claws. The sauce that cover the lobster was not overwhelmingly creamy or thick. There were small pieces of diced cucumbers that added a nice crunch to contrast the soft lobster. Once you squeeze the lemon over your lobster meat and put in on the delicious bun, you're all set! The only thing I wished was different was that the lobster was chilled and a bit cold. I'm assuming that since I ordered it to-go they didn't heat up the lobster. If the lobster was heated up a little bit, then it would have been perfect. Don't be shy to order a lobster roll instead of a burger. I'd certainly do it again!

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Good selection on food. I really liked the cheese curd jalapeño. The burger was also very delicious. If you're in the mood for burgers, I would recommend this place.

When I go to new cities, I typically seek out food that is specific to the region and thus a little more interesting to me. You can get a burger anywhere, and a cheese filled patty, aka a "Juicy Lucy", didn't sound like something I needed to try. But my husband kept talking about it and really seemed bent on having one so we decided to come here to try it out. We showed up during their happy hour, from 4-5pm, and they had $5 draft beers. Score! It's a cute place with ample seating, nice natural light from the large windows, and a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the Juicy Lucy, a burger patty stuffed with cheese and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and pub sauce. I chose the Impossible patty version, but you can also get it with their house made black bean burger. Hubby chose the Garlic Girl, a black bean cheeseburger topped with bacon (also made in-house), berbere aioli, lettuce, and pickled onion. Each burger came with fries. Both burgers were spectacular and delicious in their own way. The bacon on hubby's burger was incredible, and his burger was rich and satisfying. By my Juicy Lucy, oh my... Every bite was a flavor explosion and intensely delicious without being a gut bomb shockingly. To top it off, the fries were super crispy and just perfect. WOW is all I can say. Note that while the prices may seem a little higher than what you might expect, Francis Burger is a no tipping establishment, as stated on their menu. For the quality of the food and the great service, it was well worth the price! I'll be back if I'm ever in this area again.f

I highly recommend the Original Bagel Sandwich--an everything bagel with bacon, American cheese, and a fried egg--paired with Oliver's hash. The hash has outstanding flavor and is truly a standout. Another favorite is the Scrambler (scrambled eggs with bacon, scallions, mushrooms, peppers, aged cheddar, and Oliver's hash underneath). Again, the flavor is excellent. If you enjoy a little kick, be sure to ask for their homemade hot sauce--it's terrific. I believe the ketchup is made in-house as well, although it's not quite to my taste. My one consistent disappointment with breakfast is that the menu never changes. They don't seem to offer specials, and I would really love to see new items introduced--whether occasionally or seasonally. Adding some variety would make an already great experience even better. I've considered going for lunch, but the current menu doesn't quite draw me in. I tend to go to specialty places for pizza or tacos, and while I'm sure the soup is very good, I can't justify $17 for a bowl. There are burgers and sandwiches as well, but nothing that really stands out to me. Again, introducing lunch specials or rotating items would make a big difference and likely bring me in more often. The atmosphere is excellent--comfortable, inviting, and full of charming little nooks and crannies, along with bar seating. If having a booth is important to you, I recommend making a reservation.

The brisket was ok. The meal came with an abundance of things we didn't want. Like a giant caramel roll was the first thing they brought to the table. We didn't want that. Then there was a massive side of bacon, sausage & au gratin potatoes. Those sides did not go well with either of the entrees e selected. Kind of a waste to be honest. It wasn't very busy but service was slow. Idk if I will be back after this. The regular menu would have been better.

Aguavarita: This was a Gose that had agave and guava added which gave it a nice balance. The use of this year's Pink Boots Blend (HBC 630, Idaho Gem, Loral, Talus, and Triumph) gave off raspberry and red currant on the aroma with a huge blast of grapefruit, citrus, and raspberry on the flavor. The space is quite large with open seating - something I'd expect is great for a large group. I asked if we could combine some tables and the staff said they'd do it for us. We ended up having a table for 8. While more people in my group showed up than expected, we ended up adding a few more chairs. With the open seating and lots of tables available, we thought it would be fine. However, the staff didn't seem to be too happy with us. Our group had not gotten together in a while, so a couple of us had switched chairs to talk with different people. The server said in a very rude way, "You guys need to stop switching seats. I can't keep track of your orders and you want this on separate checks, right?" We had never asked for separate checks and I would have offered to pay on one check if it made it easier, but she left right after saying that. Towards the end of our stay, after paying and enjoying some last minute shakes (around 9:15pm, they close at 10), the same server started putting away the metal chairs VERY loudly and carelessly while we were still finishing up. We all watched her throw the chairs on top of each other as we stayed silent because we couldn't hear each other over her stacking them. We took the hint and left. Everyone inside the restaurant followed after. I assume because they, too, felt awkward as she was loudly cleaning up. The food was mid at best, the beer selection and unique combinations are great, but the bad service made the experience miserable. I didn't notice the server treating any other guests as bad as our table, so I am just not sure why she treated us the way she did. I definitely won't be back.
