There are a lot of places to get wings and a good burger. But this is in my top 5 best burger spots. Don't mess with the best. @burgerdivemn in St. Paul is where it's at. They do have another spot in the @potluckmn food area of Rosedale Mall and are connected to @the1029bar in MPLS. Our favorites here are many: Dry Rub Wings (with ranch) these are my favorite wings ever Wedge Burger House Burger Their fries are worth the upgrade. SO GOOD. (not pictured but need highlighting because they're good) Onion Burger Mushroom Swiss Chicken Burger the fried Cauliflower (has turmeric spices) Lobster rolls also are top notch There's a similar burger to their house burger that's gotten a lot of hype in St. Paul, not naming names, but the one here blows that hyped one out of the water in my opinion. I was looking for a place to walk to, and stumbled across this. I had a burger, wings and fries. My brother had the chili bowl. It was a nice little dive bar and it was not that busy at 6:30 pm on a Friday night. My server was really outgoing even though she said it was a busy night. She had a good sense of humor and kept things lighthearted. The food was very good, and the burger was a good size. The wings were crispy and delicious. The fries were well prepared as well. Really amazing burgers here with friendly wait staff. Summer is here and I love their little outdoor patio - but be warned, it closes at 9pm if you're looking for a late night fix. My friends wanted to go somewhere after the baseball game, I told them about this dive bar not too far from CHS. They're open until midnight everyday, except weekends are 1am. Neighborhood bar, I told them it's like a dive bar. They loved it. Neighborhood parking, easy walk up, there's a patio in the back. We sat at the booth bar the bar and found out it's karaoke night. We stopped in here for MN Burger week for their $10 burger. It was two smash burgers, topped with American cheese, grilled onions, and a pickle. This place was a fun find; it has a neighborhood bar feel serving up the locals. The food was good, too. The burger was served piping hot and tasted like it used fresh, quality ingredients. Since breakfast is one of my favorite meals, I was pleased to see they serve breakfast until 5PM. They have happy hour prices, including a $4 beer. For fun, they have trivia and karaoke nights. I saw great reviews for this place and had to check it out! I came in late (around 8pm) on the day before a holiday and was surprised to see they had patio seating and space inside the restaurant. It seems to be a seat yourself kind of place! So no host, just find a good place and take a seat! The menu is straightforward, standard cocktails, appetizers and burger options. I asked for a single patty burger but forgot to ask to upgrade to a basket of fries so don't forget to let them know otherwise you will be given a bag of chips! (I was also satisfied with the single patty but could've eaten more) The burger was great! The pickles on it were unique and crunchy. We've eaten here a few times and have never had a bad meal. We got the wedge burger this time, perfectly balanced and delicious. The deviled eggs were good but heavy handed on the salt. My complaint is about the 8.5 nothing special onion rings that were $11. We eat out often, I realize prices need to go up because of costs but more than a dollar for what tastes like frozen onion rings isn't an expense I think is worth it. Spiced mule was good. I love Burger Dive! They have some fun specials, & their food always hits. They also have a massive drink selection, including THC seltzers, which is nice. The bar itself is not huge, but there's a tons of seating & a very large bar. There really isn't a bad seat in the house! Their servers are always great, they're attentive & fun. We came for the Vikings game for the first time, & they had some insane deals ($3 pitchers?!), along with plenty of TVs. I got their breakfast for the first time, & the huevos rancheros whipped. We tried this place this weekend because they had good yelp reviews. I will say they had some good and some bad moments. First, this is a dive bar as titled and so it had a fun feel to it. We were able to sit right away and order. The food took a decent amount of time to come out (about 25 minutes). We weren't in a hurry so we were ok with that. When the food came the tots and fries were cold. Flavor was good but for sure done well before the burgers and sat for a bit. Burgers however were good. They were great flavor, hot and made up for the fact the fries and tots were cold. We did the house burger and wedge burger. We would recommend both. The burger is why I will give 4 stars instead of 3. Service was friendly but not attentive. The server took our order, brought our food and then much later brought our check. No check-ins while we ate and no offers for refills on drinks. She was very busy so I attribute it to that. Again, the burger was good and it's a cute dive bar. My go to breakfast is the Huevos Rancheros but the Breakfast Burrito is seriously good. The diamond in the rough on this menu is the Lobster Roll! If you're in the mood for a Lobster Roll do not skip it! The drinks are solid, good pour and are at a fair price. Always good service and a decent patio is definitely worth a mention. It was pretty busy when we went but our server Amy was super attentive and had great recommendations! We got the jalapeño cheese curds ($11) which were super fresh and delicious--I *personally* would've liked a bit more jalapeño on there because I'm a pepper fiend and their pickled jalapeños were delicious, but it was still excellent as-is. We also got the chicken strip basket ($13) which was just as hot and fresh as the curds--and they use a nice lighter batter so you really get the seasoning and the juiciness of the chicken rather than just a mouthful of breading in every bite. I thought the fries tasted particularly fresh and potato-y in a way that I've only ever tasted when I make fries at home, and you could really taste the dill in the house ranch, which I love. We ordered the chicken wings for a starter and the were delicious. Hot, crispy, with good seasoning. For dinner I had the patty melt. I love patty melts, but this one was ok. It tasted very sweet, probably from the onions or onion jam? The bread and burger itself were great. I just wasn't expecting it to taste so sweet. Same with the onion dip. Not a fan. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! I stumbled across this place last year after looking for more state fair foods once the fair closed. This place did not disappoint. My tip is that you need to upgrade your burger order to be with fries. The burgers themselves are cooked as ordered and not too greasy - just right. I haven't had an order I didn't like. Pierogis are top notch as well. I've taken family and friends here a handful of times and everyone agrees they have the best fried mushrooms and dry rub wings they've ever had - I 100% agree too! Service is always excellent. I went here 2-3 times within a few weeks over the holidays and had a server named Max who remembered us (hopefully for the right reasons, haha!) He was very attentive and ran the food to our table promptly. My partner and I joke that the wings are so hot when they are brought to the table, they burn your fingerprints off! It's Lent and time for Friday Fish Fry. You might not guess it from the name, but Burger Dive is an excellent spot for a Friday fish fry. We chose Burger Dive because they serve cod. In Minnesota, walleye is often on the menu. We like walleye but the problem is most restaurants don't do it right. Cod is more reliable and Burger Dive did an excellent job with it. Our platters were served fresh out of the fryer. The batter was light and crisp, but clung to fish so there wasn't a bunch of non-fish clumps. The fish was subtle yet tasty. And rather than fries, sliced potatoes were served. loved it- more potatoe than oil. We also loved the coleslaw. I won't eat most coleslaw because it's usually creamy, but this was made with vinegar and cumin! Yes, cumin. Excellent. I highly recommend for your next fish fry Apart from the fish fry, we will likely be back. It has the feel of a neighborhood bar. Plenty of locals and a large bar with plenty of seats.
