Have had a great past few visits to Red Cow! This smaller well decorated restaurant has had some really good food. Have been for dinner and brunch and theater have been perfect. Can't wait to go again soon.

Had a great time at Red Cow St. Paul! Our server was timely, attentive and informative. The food, including the recommendation of the Le Shroom burger, was lovely. Had a cozy, dimly lit vibe with many people there to celebrate St. Pattys day

I hadn't been to Red Cow in a while, so I was surprised to see the menu change. They added a few new items I'm excited to try, though. Tonight, we ordered the 60/40 with sweet potato fries and the Patty Melt. Everything was great, except the sweet potato fries weren't as crispy as I would have liked. The restaurant was pretty empty, so we grabbed a seat right at the bar, and the service was great. They even offered us the Valentine's Day specials a day early. We didn't take advantage, but the s'mores looked pretty tempting. We love the beer selection at Red Cow--there are always plenty of options.

St. Paul is filled with many eateries but this one is a great one for locals and tourists. We had the cheese curds, which of course were delicious. For entree we chose burgers. Can't go wrong with any of their options. I will say, it is very busy inside and outside. Come prepared with a lot of patience. We had some difficulty finding parking, but we managed to find a spot around the corner. Inside it's roomy with a bar on the first floor. There is a second level with more space to dine. Definitely worth a stop on your trip.

I really liked the lights and overall vibe there. The food was great! Service was a little slow but it was busy. The only downfall is that it was really loud there.

Fun Happy Hour! We tried all of their HH Appetizers and had a great time admiring their classy holiday decor. Highly recommend their SLIDERS and STRAWBERRY FRESNO MARGARITAS. Service was top notch! We stayed extra long and ordered another bottle of wine and our servers never hurried us. Happy Hour things we tried: CHIPS & DIP - (4/5) sour cream based dip was fabulous with house fried potato chips AHI TUNA CRISPS (5/5) beautiful and flavor packed! Highly recommend. OYSTERS (3/5) average. Loved that this was an option for happy hour. LETTUCE WRAPS (4/5) substantial amount of chicken skewers with a peanut satay sauce and crunchy crushed peanuts. TRUFFLE FRIES (4/5) pretty good but this was the only app we didn't finish bc everything else was so good. SLIDERS (5/5) we tried both the double barrel and 60/40 flavors and they were equally delicious. RED WINE (3/5) standard but a nice price at happy hour. STRAWBERRY FRESNO MARGARITA (5/5) both beautiful and delicious, served in a cute cactus shaped margarita glass. The only app we skipped was BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER... bc who needs veggies at happy hour?

We needed somewhere to eat and this restaurant was a few miles away. Because it was early for dinner we were immediately seated. We were upstairs. Our waitress was amazing, attentive and knowledgeable. I had water and my husband had beer. We decided to have an appetizer, split a salad and then split a bowl. The kitchen actually sent our salad and bowl out already split. The food was well seasoned. I loved the spice they added to the apple Brie toast. Both the salad and bowl were so good. I would definitely come back. There were a few more things on the menu I wanted to try. The decor is cute with the cow theme. If it's possible I would make a reservation. They were really filling up as we were leaving.

Steak Frites. Patty Melt. Side Sweet Potato Fries. Creamed Corn. Macaroni & Cheese.

Come here at-least once a week for either happy hour or dinner. Overall, the food and drinks are pretty good and consistent. The customer service is attentive as well which I appreciate.

My sister-in-law had her Naturalization ceremony in St. Paul so we wanted a place to eat afterwards. I had heard the Red Cow was known for its burgers so we chose it for Arlin's brother who was in town from Vancouver. Glad we were able to find parking in the small lot! This venue has an outdoor patio which we considered but it was a little too humid. The service - once they made a table for 8 - was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. Cheese curds for the table were a hit! My hubby and niece had the 60/40 burger (beef & bacon) and while they liked it, the candied bacon topping was a little too sweet. The burgers are thick so if you like a beefy patty, these are for you! The grilled cheese I had was the best I've eaten in a long time. Overall a successful outing!

I recently checked out Red Cow on Selby in Saint Paul, and this place was a vibe! I never knew it had two floors, so it was pretty nice to dine on the second floor for my date--it was a bit quieter up there. I started off with the ahi crisps, which were sooooooo good! I was tempted to order a second round, but I realized I had to save space for the burger. I don't recall the exact burger I had, but I remember the bacon on it was delicious! This location was great overall. Service was good and our waiter had great recommendations. Parking can be challenging sometimes since it's street parking, but I'd definitely go back!

I'm from California. Stumbled upon Red Cow a few years ago while in town for a conference. Always good. Always great servers. Great drinks. And the double barrel burger is top notch. This was my first time at this location and it lived up to the others. We walked in at 5:30 and it was already packed. Great vibes and great food.

It's like a sports bar feel on the main level with additional seating upstairs. Burgers are fantastic, very juicy, one of the best that I've had I think - and I've had my share of yummy burgers. . Service was kind of slow - not sure if it's a result being upstairs, but we also had a ton of orders as well with our larger group. I think it's generally kid friendly on the upper level - they do have some high chairs etc available. They kept the kids busy with some crayons for drawing.

This is one of the best grilled cheese on any menu in town

I have been here two times in the last week and lemme tell ya.. this is quite the spot. I do suggest making a reservation because everytime I go here it is popping! What a vibey place, the lights aren't too bright, it gives a hip, fun, light energy and is not too pretentious but has INCREDIBLE FOOD AND DRINKS. Right now, one of their specials is whitefish toast.. if you enjoy fish at all, you need this. The fish is light and fresh, they put fresh dill on top and it is placed on top of some toasted sourdough bread perfectly. The fish is flavorful, a lil earthy and I feel as if there are capers or olives in in the fish mixture, whatever it is is fire! The burrata, beets, and citrus is a nice lovely, fresh, light app, the burrata is perfection with the beets and fresh, juicy citrus, drizzled with some oil and random pieces of garlic mixed in, YUM. I suggest ordering bread on the side with this one! The wings here are a staple and always delish. Crispy, hot, and coated perfectly in a light sweet chili sauce.. they hit the spot everytime. The housemade ranch is a perfect dipper. The other day I tried the chorizo and scallops... oh my goodness gracious.. it was a lil spicy and creamy with the bean puree and the scallops were buttery, light and divine! 10 outta 10 would do again. Finally, got the goat cheesecake, gluten free ginger snap crust with poached pears. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I want this now and in every lifetime! The cheesecake was light, yet decadent, deep, creamy with a light, unassuming flavor. The crust was delicious and the poached pears added that perfect fruit component. I got Liam as my server both times, he was helpful, attentive, had good suggestions when asked questions and didn't interrupt at all, amazing! This is the spot for any occasion!
