So fun sitting at the bar at Red Cow - it's like dinner and a show watching the bar tenders whip up drinks. The guys behind the bar were fun chatting with too. We started with Ahi Tuna Crisp appetizer - we substituted the cracker for cucumber. This twist makes it so fresh. The sauce is a bit tangy and avocado balances the tuna. So yummy! I opted for a cheeseburger - very good smash burger. I have had the Double Double in the past and that is probably my favorite burger with two smash burger patties, cheese and special sauce. Can't miss on the regular fries. Crispy and delicious! read more

This was a delightful place for brunch! Everyone's food exceeded our expectations! The Gouda hash browns were really yummy and the breakfast burrito was a delicious hearty serving, packed with meat, we all enjoyed the fresh like squeeze too. We were all pleasantly surprised when our server gave us complimentary mini donuts, what a fun morning treat and still warm. We arrived a little after 10am and were remarkably able to get a last minute table for 10! When we left the place had filled up though! There are TVs downstairs, but not upstairs if you are wanting to watch sports. Service was fab and we were able to ask her separate checks! Would love to go back and try the avocado toast or breakfast sandwich! read more

You can't go around with red cow, it is simple and good. They have a handful of these around the cities, all have the same food, the same quality. It is an easy Tuesday night out read more

Chill place, fun vibes! Sat at the bar for midday HH after lunch at Moscow down the street. Loved chatting with both bartenders (can't remember their names) but they whipped us up some great drinks! Fresh squeezed fruit for the sea breezes! Also tried the strawberry Fresno margarita. Yum. Didn't eat much food other than munching on a few fries of my friends, but I'm sure it's great. Loved stumbling upon this place on our recent trip. read more

Had the best burger of my entire life!! Truffle fries were amazing. Service was on point.

It was time for my monthly dinner with a friend, and she chose Red Cow. A longtime ago, I remember coming here for brunch, but it had been so many years that I barely remembered it. I made a last-minute reservation online, which was quick and seamless. Parking was easy enough, there's a small lot, plus plenty of street parking options. We were seated right away when we arrived, though unfortunately at a very small two-person table with very limited space. It worked out, but next time I'd definitely request something a bit roomier. We arrived during happy hour but skipped it since we didn't want to spoil our meals. For dinner, I ordered the double barrel burger with a side of fries, and my friend got the fried chicken sandwich with a side of fries. I enjoyed my meal, however, my friend thought the food was very salty and that maybe the chicken sandwich was fried in the same oil as the fish as it didn't taste much like chicken. We thought the portions were big enough that we had leftovers to take home. Service was just okay...nothing particularly memorable. The most uncomfortable part of the experience was our table location right by the door. It felt like people were constantly hovering nearby or watching us while waiting for a table, which made it a bit awkward. Almost like we better hurry up and eat. Overall, a decent meal. read more

That's a nice place, could be fun. They have lots of non alcoholic beverages as well, Today they had a meat raffle and also Bingo for $500 for the winner - wasn't sure what the buy in was. read more

The barata with tomato and basil was fabulous. The service was good and very accommodating of gluten free.

It was okay but it was super loud inside, especially seated near the door and the host stand. The food was just fine and service was okay! read more

Fun place good beer selection Happy hour menu was excellent I sat at the bar great service Had the 60/40 sliders and truffle fries Well worth it and made for a great meal I want to come back to try some of the other offerings read more

I was surprised at this place. I was visiting and we walked for miles looking around and needed somewhere for lunch on the weekend. Found this place and it had good reviews on Google so we stopped in. The avocado toast was awesome, I loved the huevos divorcos or something like that and my husband got this funny burger with peanut butter and it was oddly good too. The buffalo cauliflower was delish, but a TINY portion for what you pay. Would I come back? yes. The service was great and it was a fun spot for a weekend brunch. read more

The Cheeseburger was the most sad looking dish I ever received for $ 16.00. A big plate with NOTHING on it except a burger with no lettuce....no onions no tomatoes nothing...fries are extra and nothing to rave about either as they tasted like the oil has not been changed in a while.....not coming back sorry ! read more

I hadn't been to Red Cow in a while, so I was surprised to see the menu change. They added a few new items I'm excited to try, though. Tonight, we ordered the 60/40 with sweet potato fries and the Patty Melt. Everything was great, except the sweet potato fries weren't as crispy as I would have liked. The restaurant was pretty empty, so we grabbed a seat right at the bar, and the service was great. They even offered us the Valentine's Day specials a day early. We didn't take advantage, but the s'mores looked pretty tempting. We love the beer selection at Red Cow--there are always plenty of options. read more

St. Paul is filled with many eateries but this one is a great one for locals and tourists. We had the cheese curds, which of course were delicious. For entree we chose burgers. Can't go wrong with any of their options. I will say, it is very busy inside and outside. Come prepared with a lot of patience. We had some difficulty finding parking, but we managed to find a spot around the corner. Inside it's roomy with a bar on the first floor. There is a second level with more space to dine. Definitely worth a stop on your trip. read more

Fun Happy Hour! We tried all of their HH Appetizers and had a great time admiring their classy holiday decor. Highly recommend their SLIDERS and STRAWBERRY FRESNO MARGARITAS. Service was top notch! We stayed extra long and ordered another bottle of wine and our servers never hurried us. Happy Hour things we tried: CHIPS & DIP - (4/5) sour cream based dip was fabulous with house fried potato chips AHI TUNA CRISPS (5/5) beautiful and flavor packed! Highly recommend. OYSTERS (3/5) average. Loved that this was an option for happy hour. LETTUCE WRAPS (4/5) substantial amount of chicken skewers with a peanut satay sauce and crunchy crushed peanuts. TRUFFLE FRIES (4/5) pretty good but this was the only app we didn't finish bc everything else was so good. SLIDERS (5/5) we tried both the double barrel and 60/40 flavors and they were equally delicious. RED WINE (3/5) standard but a nice price at happy hour. STRAWBERRY FRESNO MARGARITA (5/5) both beautiful and delicious, served in a cute cactus shaped margarita glass. The only app we skipped was BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER... bc who needs veggies at happy hour? read more

Red Cow is a great place to treat yourself. The food is tasty, the service is prompt, and the ambiance is welcoming.

We needed somewhere to eat and this restaurant was a few miles away. Because it was early for dinner we were immediately seated. We were upstairs. Our waitress was amazing, attentive and knowledgeable. I had water and my husband had beer. We decided to have an appetizer, split a salad and then split a bowl. The kitchen actually sent our salad and bowl out already split. The food was well seasoned. I loved the spice they added to the apple Brie toast. Both the salad and bowl were so good. I would definitely come back. There were a few more things on the menu I wanted to try. The decor is cute with the cow theme. If it's possible I would make a reservation. They were really filling up as we were leaving. read more

My sister-in-law had her Naturalization ceremony in St. Paul so we wanted a place to eat afterwards. I had heard the Red Cow was known for its burgers so we chose it for Arlin's brother who was in town from Vancouver. Glad we were able to find parking in the small lot! This venue has an outdoor patio which we considered but it was a little too humid. The service - once they made a table for 8 - was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. Cheese curds for the table were a hit! My hubby and niece had the 60/40 burger (beef & bacon) and while they liked it, the candied bacon topping was a little too sweet. The burgers are thick so if you like a beefy patty, these are for you! The grilled cheese I had was the best I've eaten in a long time. Overall a successful outing! read more

I recently checked out Red Cow on Selby in Saint Paul, and this place was a vibe! I never knew it had two floors, so it was pretty nice to dine on the second floor for my date--it was a bit quieter up there. I started off with the ahi crisps, which were sooooooo good! I was tempted to order a second round, but I realized I had to save space for the burger. I don't recall the exact burger I had, but I remember the bacon on it was delicious! This location was great overall. Service was good and our waiter had great recommendations. Parking can be challenging sometimes since it's street parking, but I'd definitely go back! read more

It's like a sports bar feel on the main level with additional seating upstairs. Burgers are fantastic, very juicy, one of the best that I've had I think - and I've had my share of yummy burgers. . Service was kind of slow - not sure if it's a result being upstairs, but we also had a ton of orders as well with our larger group. I think it's generally kid friendly on the upper level - they do have some high chairs etc available. They kept the kids busy with some crayons for drawing. read more

I'm a huge fan of the St. Paul Red Cow location, I always enjoy the food, drinks and exceptional service!

I can never say enough about this restaurant and this location. The service is always great and I love the fact that you could go in here anytime of day during business hours and find anything on the menu whether it's for A business lunch, for happy hour during the game or for date night. This particular time I went for a quick lunch and what better for a brisk Fall Day then grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. But this was not like any other grilled cheese and tomato soup.. This creamy tomato basil soup was so rich, creamy and flavorful and the grilled cheese... Well it had at least two if not three cheeses perfectly grilled Texas toast and the most perfect crunch of bacon It was the perfect comfort meal if there ever was one. I would highly recommend trying this duo out!! read more

I've been this year for lunch a couple times recently and enjoyed their Red Cow salad and BLT. The BLT did not skimp on the Bacon, which was much appreciated. Cool atmosphere and hip servers don't fix a sirloin steak that, even when it's cooked right, is hard to cut with a steak knife and even harder to chew...everything else was pretty good but avoid the steak...it's a sirloin and the only steak option on their menu. I'd gladly pay more for a ribeye or skirt steak (just in case the owner and manager is reading this). read more
