Y'all I've been craving for an amazing burger for weeks now ! I had plans on celebrating one of my friends/coworker bday with a lunch place of her choice and she picked TK. I mean I would go there any day but it was her day so was willing to eat salad if that's what she wanted lol. But was super excited to do it there and we both ordered burgers, I must say my craving for burgers are always high :), but when I think about TK my mind automatically goes to their Nashville chicken because it's tasty and will recommend 10/10. I got the steak burger and added fried egg to mine because why not and grilled onions with fries. We forgot the meals always came with glazed delectable donut so we ordered extra donuts but I'm not complaining about that at all-- their donuts taste heavenly! We were the first few to get there so I don't think it took long at all to get our orders and let me tell you the burger did not disappoint! I actually think that was the best burger I've had in my entire life. Even my friend loved hers and she's not into burgers like me. We tried a bunch of sauces and both loved the chipotle sauce to eat with my fries and I also got the jalapeno sauce which was like a soufflé type texture and it when well with my burger. We usually walk to TK, 10 mins walk from our job, but it worth the parking search or even ramp parking or walk if you close by. I'm ready for another burger y'all and I think I like the burger more than the Nashville chicken! Even the ghost peppers can't sway me on this lol

My boyfriend found this place, and based on the name and him telling me "it's just sandwiches', I was leery. However, upon hearing about the 4.9 rating on another source, I was intrigued. It's located right next to Raising Cane's, there's lots of seating, a variety of (hot) sandwiches, sides, milkshakes, and even donuts. Here's what we got: -The PAT burger= very delicious smashed patty, with thin slices of tri-strip steak, your choice of cheese, and mayo on a lightly toasted ciabatta bun. Unlike other toasted buns, this one didn't rip the roof of my mouth. I was able to add lettuce and tomatoes at no cost. It was a 5/5, and dare I say.... rivaled the Parlour Burger. -Nashville Chicken Sandwich= I only had a bite, but it was good. My BF really enjoyed it. They had 4 heat levels, and he went with #3 Ghost Pepper. He loves heat and thought it was hot. -Side of fries= thankfully we got this to share because the sandwiches were pretty filling. They're cut similarly to Five Guys, but are crispy and seasoned. The seasoning could have been a notch less, but otherwise they were tasty, All in all, I enjoyed the food, am glad he suggested it and can't wait to return.

Double patty cheeseburger with jalapeño bacon, pickles, lettuce, and tomato. Also, these are crispy truffle seasoned fries.

This is a delivery order review. I normally don't write a review for delivery orders because I believe the overall experience is just as important. A friend of mine was raving about this cheeseburger, so I ordered on a lazy Saturday. I ordered the double patty cheeseburger with pepper cheese, jalapeño bacon, tomatoes, and lettuce. The order arrived without a bag or seal on the paper box container. This is the only reason this was not a five-star review. The burger patty was cooked with the cheese melted to a crispy goodness on the edges. This is a juicy burger (run down your hands) full of flavor. The crispy cheese on the edges was a delicious bonus. The fries were surprisingly crispy. You would think they would become soggy on the trip, but that was not the case. The truffle season was great. They are heavily seasoned, so order the plain fries if you want to reduce the sodium intake. In summary, I loved the flavor of this cheeseburger, and the fries didn't let me down with a soggy experience. Well done!

Wanted to see why this place has so many great reviews and very pleased to say 5 Star Food and cool atmosphere. So many options, so I went with The OG as highly recommended by the employee. So glad I got this as it impossible to put down. Also, I didn't mention you get a free donut with a meal and it was also impossible to put down. I'm coming through here again, whether for food or stopping by for donuts. Soooooooo goood! Fries were also perfect in texture and very hot. Loaded with salt seasoning.

"The Nashville" is seasoned to perfection. Came with a complimentary donut which is genius.

Wow .. I thoroughly enjoyed the Test Kitchen! I was trying to kill time before picking up a buddy at the airport, and I was hungry, so I thought I'd check out something new. So glad I stopped here! I ordered the "Kenny Melt" which is a grilled cheese sandwich with a burger patty on it. You get to choose the toppings, so I added bacon, mushrooms, cheddar and pepper jack cheese .. so good!! For a side, I had their cheesy, gooey mac and cheese ... they actually melt the cheese on top with a little torch! My "beverage" was really more like a dessert: a thick vanilla milkshake with one of their fresh, made-to-order, hot cinnamon donuts on top! Believe me, I was stuffed .. I just couldn't stop eating it, it was so good! Plus, the staff was so friendly .. the place just has a great vibe .. I can't wait to go back!

OVERALL: A hidden gem! I'm a sucker for donuts and these are one of the best. I can't believe I'm the first to review, but I also know that they are pretty brand new. The first time I came across them was for the gopher homecoming game when they still only had a donut cart outside on the side of the street and had yet to open up their storefront. This gopher game, I was so pleased to see they had officially opened up and I immediately went inside! FOOD: We ordered a dozen donuts (combination of glazed, sugar, and cinnamon sugar) and these are truly the fluffiest donuts. They remind me of the exact fluffiness and warmth that you would only get from a mini donut at a ballgame. I'm a big fan of cinnamon sugar, but the glazed is also so delicious. They're warm and almost melt in your mouth with how soft they are, and I love it. We also tried their beef and cheddar. We had different options to the type of flavor we wanted for it and went with the cheddar Gruyère. We are it so quickly I didn't even get a photo of it. It was on a hoagie roll and the meat was so flavorful and tender. We added pickled banana peppers to it that they have at the side which added some flavor. They also have homemade pickles as well! We ordered it with a side of fries and man, they were so well seasoned. PRICE: The prices are so reasonable! For a dozen delicious donuts it was $10. The beef and cheddar with a side of fries were also $10. Totally worth it in my opinion based on the quality of food and portion. ATMOSPHERE: They took over the bar luchador location, and it keeps that similar inside feel. SERVICE: As a small local business, they are able to take the time and actually care about their customers. They are so incredibly kind and sweet. The owner even remembered me from when I came to the stand that very first time! I guess there's not all that many people raving to them about getting on Yelp so I could review them...but now they have a location so I am more than happy to leave the first review.

    Space for friends and family.

Hustle on over to see what new in the test kitchen. It was all delicious from the burger slaw and fries to the donuts! The meat is awesome too. We will be back. Right next door to Canes.

This is a very busy place, so expect at least some wait. I stood in line for about five minutes, but I was dining alone and was able to take a seat at the bar. Larger parties may have to wait longer. Also, be aware that Matt's Bar is cash only. The Jucy Lucy is clearly the most popular item. The burgers are cooked to order, but the grill is constantly loaded with them. From what I observed, they seemed to be prepared in batches, so your wait may depend on where your order falls in the cooking cycle. Parking was easier than I expected. I found free street parking about 100 yards away. The bartender was excellent, the kitchen staff kept things moving, and there was a decent beer selection. I also ordered fries, and the portions are enormous. A half order would easily be enough for two people to share, while a full order could probably feed four. As for the burger itself, it was good and definitely worth trying for the history and experience. I would rate it somewhere around 3.5 to 4 out of 5. One important tip is to let it sit for about five minutes before taking a bite. The cheese inside is extremely hot and very liquid when the burger first arrives, so it can easily burn your mouth. Giving it a few minutes allows the cheese to cool and thicken slightly. Overall, I enjoyed Matt's Bar and am glad I tried the original-style Jucy Lucy. Between the crowds and the cash-only policy, it is probably a one-time experience for me rather than somewhere I would visit regularly, but it was still a very good stop.
