A kitchen counter in a diner setting with two coffee machines, several stainless steel kettles, and a shelf with colorful cups and mugs. The background includes a tiled wall, kitchen utensils, and condiment bottles. The counter has red cabinets below, and the scene is illuminated by overhead lighting.

Awesome Breakfast and staff!! Recommendations were perfect!! Best place in town! Wonderful place to eat and great atmosphere!

Burger and cheese curds - A cheeseburger with a beef patty topped with melted cheese inside a shiny, toasted bun. The burger is placed on a checkered plate alongside a generous portion of fried nuggets. The plate is on a yellow table, and part of a person's arm is visible in the background.

Ze's Diner is the perfect spot for classic breakfast diner food! I've eaten here twice and each time the service has been friendly, fast, and attentive. My coffee never was low. It's a cute little retro vibe and the prices are reasonable as well. We arrived around 9:30am on a Saturday and we were seated right away, but there were only a few tables left. We got the hot and spicy bowl and it was so good we dug into it before I could take a photo of it. It had so much flavor and a decent amount of heat. The little bits of diced peppers and onions added the perfect texture crunch to the dish. Hash browns are nice and crispy and the toast is thick and buttery. The ham was a little too sweet for my taste. The star is the rhubarb jam, perfect for putting on pancakes and French toast.

Three pieces of pineapple with yellow flesh and some brown spots are arranged on a white paper napkin. The pieces vary in size and shape, with a slightly fibrous texture visible. The napkin has some wrinkles and slight discoloration, indicating it is used for serving or snacking.

Ordered through toast at Eagan location. Chose crispy hashbrowns and received mushy undercooked hashbrowns. Our orders were definitely not worth the money charged. Also, here's a photo of the pineapple in the side of fruit!

Regular Jelly & strawberry rhubarb jam - A table in a restaurant setting features condiment bottles, including a ketchup bottle with a metal lid and a pink sauce bottle with a white cap. There are also small packets of butter in a purple container. The background shows yellow chairs and various restaurant items, indicating a casual dining environment.

How can you go wrong with all-day breakfast lunch and dinner?!?! Having some good friends come in from out of town and staying in Eagan I was on the search for a great breakfast spot that wasn't too busy around 8am, and Ze's was certainly on the menu. Having the best intentions of only having breakfast I asked our awesome waitress Michelle if I could order anything off the menu and she said yes, so it was game on. Making a completely sober decision, I ordered the fried pickles and cheese curds for a little bit of Midwest flare for my Southern friends to start, along with the Fiesta omelet for myself, substituting the tortilla and set up the bread to wrap up my cheesy, meaty breakfast item. Combining my DIY burrito with some of their house-made salsa and the Ze's sauce was a great decision! My friends ordered the taco omelet special and the regular breakfast with bread and their homemade strawberry rhubarb jam which was fantastic. Great service, delicious food brought out quickly, and an amazing price - not our first visit and certainly won't be the last!

Biscuits and Gravy - A bowl of biscuits and gravy with a thick, creamy white sauce is on a yellow table at Ze's Diner. The bowl has a red and white checkered rim. In the background, there is a glass of orange juice, a dark syrup bottle, and other dining items. The setting suggests a casual American diner environment.

You know a diner is going to be good when it is packed and it was packed! We went on a Sunday and they have a sign posted about only staying an hour due to how busy they get. There are people bussing tables very quickly so turn over is fast! We were sat down fairly quickly and our waiter got drinks right away! Our server was very nice and fast! The atmosphere is fun and filled with plenty of cool 50's diner items! My mom said it felt like being transported back in time :) The biscuits and gravy were delicious, peppery and creamy! The bacon is thin and not very crispy. Just depends on your bacon preference but I typically like a crispier bacon. I had read a lot of reviews about the apply fritter French toast. There was a weird after taste that I didn't care for... I'm not sure what happened. The club sandwich my mom got was classic and tasty! The fries were also very good!! Portions here are large and you could definitely share if you wanted to! Overall, it was a fun diner and Id be happy to come back!

This is an indication how good everything was! - A diner table features three empty plates with red and white checkered borders, along with a fork and knife. A small pitcher of syrup, a packet of butter, and a red drinking glass are also on the table. The background shows red and white booth seating and a checkered floor, indicating a classic American diner environment.

The husband and I split the chicken fried steak breakfast and the apple fritter French toast breakfast. Everything came out piping hot and cooked perfectly. Delish! Our server was super friendly and had jokes!

Ze's breakfast - The image shows a breakfast setting with a plate containing fried eggs, strips of bacon, toasted bread, and hash browns. In the background, there is another plate with an omelet topped with sauce, slices of bread, and a small container of jam. The table has a textured surface, and a person is partially visible, holding a fork and knife. The dishes are served on plates with checkered borders, typical of a diner setting.

Fun, nostalgic, and kitchy 50s dinner with incredible food. Everything was so well seasoned and delicious. The waitresses were friendly even when it was super busy.

Eggs, bacon, HB, toast. Apple Fritter French toast in the background. There is also a little Chicken Fried steak. Was too hungry to wait. - A breakfast plate includes fried eggs, crispy bacon, two slices of toasted bread, and hash browns with melted cheese. The plate is on a table with a fork resting on the hash browns. In the background, there is a glass of soda, a small container of syrup, and a plate with French toast topped with powdered sugar. The setting appears to be a diner with a casual atmosphere.

I received an extremely greasy chili dog (the bottom of the bun was stained orange as if it was literally just sitting in grease, I had to tear the entire bottoms off. The chili was COMPLETELY flavorless with a non meat like chew, thats really as far as I can explain that one. It was like there, but tasted and disintegrated as if it wasn't. As well as, everything generally just came out as if it had been sitting around, it was cold and a bit stale. I also ordered a "THE FARMER" from their breakfast menu, and though this was better and a little fresher, the potatoes were still cold and mostly uneatable. So, inna nutshell I haven't tried everything, but this isn't the first time a meal I've had from there came out subpar. Price to quality food ratio id have to rate it like a 2-3, the hotdog was 8 dollars and "the farmer" was around 13-14. With that in mind, to have points where I am genuinely STRUGGLING through my meal is crazy. I would have to rate my overall experience between a 3 - 4 outta 10. If you don't mind a cool store and a gamble check it out !

Prices are average, service is great. My friends loved their meal, I liked mine. I ordered the prime rib hash and it had great chunks of beef and two perfectly poached eggs. However I felt that it was a little too greasy for me. Thank goodness that I asked for the hollandaise sauce on the side, otherwise with the grease, it would have been way too rich. Some parts of the beef were chewy and some gristle. One friend ordered the strawberry French toast and it was HUGE! They were generous with the whipped cream too. Another friend ordered the roasted vegetable omelette that came with a side of hash browns and toast. They enjoyed it but it was on the smaller size. It's a large restaurant with plenty bar seating and clean restrooms. There's a shared small parking lot with the hotel but there's also a parking ramp too. It's right across the street from the MOA.

Had a sister's brunch today and the celebrant sister chose Hope Breakfast Bar. Another sister and I were like darn, it was the choice lowest on the list for both of us. But on our drive there, we decided we'd both try something that we typically wouldn't try to see if it changed our views. I tried the breakfast sandwich. It was decent, not anything I'd ever crave. The bacon overpowered everything else, even the everything bagel! She did the egg farm grazer which was vegetables and quinoa topped with an egg. She said it was fine as well. Both of our meals were on par with previous experiences. Our two other sisters chose some sort of waffle. One was the hope waffle which was good, standard waffle with fruit. The other was chicken and waffles, the taste is decent but the portion was surprisingly large! 4 pieces of chicken with the waffle! As we finished with our meals, I was happy that we weren't disappointed with our food, so that was a win! But they watch your time so carefully. The moment we were sitting for 90 mins on the dot, they asked us to go. So if you're looking for a place to catch up with someone, don't let it be here!

Our server was not having a good evening. Some of our food was not as she represented. Also, our food came without serving utensils. Our steak was served as two big hunks, as opposed to being shingled for sharing. After mentioning these things to our server, things got decidedly chilly. Our server only swung by at light speed. She was pretty testy and unpleasant. No thanks for coming in or have a good night. I'd go back, but if I was given the same server I'd ask to change that before proceeding. It's tucked away in a trendy business district, and boasts the traditional Ze's decor inside. The ambiance was more lively, as they had several TVs and an open kitchen concept. Our food was outstanding. Eggs benny, MN Rancher and Denver omelette. The service is one of my favorite things about Ze's. Not this visit. Our server had a scowl on his face and his micro bladed eyebrows were scrunched. He came to the table and really didn't say anything. Hubby ordered the rancher and the server literally asked, "Eggs? (How cooked) Meat? Toast?" and then turned to awkwardly take other orders. At first, I thought maybe it was a language barrier, but I heard him speaking to other staff just fine. We sat there quite a while, watching interactions at other tables and it was just atrocious. We saw him again when he delivered our plates (all to the wrong people) and when he dropped off the credit card scanner. We were never checked on and our drinks (including coffee) were never refilled. Beverages are pretty steeply priced, so that made it even more disappointing. I'm definitely not going to return to this location and it makes me appreciate the staff in Hastings even more!
