Burger Burger in Mall of America was a really pleasant surprise. I expected it to be more expensive, but the pricing was actually pretty reasonable. When you walk in, there is a separate seating area from the main food court, which is nice. Service was good, and there were a lot of burger options to choose from. Not as many as a place like Five Guys, but still plenty. I also liked that you can add a fried egg to your burger, which you do not see everywhere. I ended up getting a triple cheeseburger with a fried egg and caramelized onions, and it came out to around 13.50, which felt fair. I did not get fries, but they bring your food out to you once you sit down. The seating is pretty standard for a burger spot with simple plastic chairs. The burger itself was really good. The meat had a nice sear and did not taste steamed, which made a big difference. The bun was soft with a slight sweetness, and the caramelized onions and fried egg worked really well together. If you are looking for a solid burger spot in Mall of America that is not overpriced, this is definitely worth trying. read more

It is decorated quite simply with tables and chairs and they mostly have chairs on one side and bench seating on the other. While they had some good menu options, I kept it simple and got a basic burger on a lettuce wrap. The burger itself was great and tasted great, didn't need the fancy toppings to make it taste good. Their burger sauce was good. The young man who helped me was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Their seating area is nice but I do have to dock a point for cleanliness. It wasn't filthy, but there was quite a bit of cleaning to be done, despite them being not busy at all (3 employees were standing around on their phones up front). So when the tables and drink station is dirty, and some serious deep cleaning needs to be done, that gives me pause and makes me hesitant to go back. But since I was otherwise quite impressed, if I pop in next time and it looks cleaner, I'd be thrilled to order there again. read more

I ordered her seeking a vegetarian option at MoA. I ordered the southwest with cauliflower wings. They brought me someone else's order which was a meat burger with fries. I opened it up and saw it was someone else's food and came up to let them know and they tried to insist it was mine even though I had my receipt? There is a main dining room after you order or a bar on the side. I sat at the bar and had a few drafts and ordered some cauliflower wings with buffalo sauce. The cauliflower wings were really good. The service was on par for the rest of the mall, not over the top, but the teens / young adults working behind the bar weren't rude and courteous enough. Bonus. :o) The fry dips were ridiculous. Bun was good, which I had to squeeze burger in order to take each bite. Fries were good and I like burnt ends. They had the fancy soda machine so I mixed Vanilla and Cherry Root Beer! Notes: Big restaurant with lots of seating. They also have adult smoothies, which sounded amazing. They had a mustard dispenser but only ketchup packets. Visited Burger Burger for the first time while at mall of America and it was kinda of meh experience. We were greeted promptly which made this a better experience but overall we were impressed. Everything is made fresh and the space is very large and inviting but the food is on the dry side. My boyfriend's burger looked just OK and was very dry. My chicken sandwich was simply ok nothing to raise about. The mac and cheese bites had no seasoning and then and it was based deep friend mac and cheese bites with no flavor. The animal fries were the best thing they offer but it's not enough for me to return. Overall from a customer service experience this place is great but from a food point I'd pass. OH. MY. GOODNESS!!!! Our friend who is vegan ordered a veggie burger, and she said "This is so good, I secretly think they slipped me a real burger!" Another spot I had never heard of, but it lived up to and beyond the hype! You need to get here! We had a group of 14 people, we had no wait, we ordered our food, got our drinks and received our food in well less than 10 minutes. And it was hot, it was fresh, I beheld the glory of the John Wayne double burger. Brother never seen a John Wayne movie but Burger Burger is causing his legacy to live on in a delicious burger. The fries were no disappointment either. You can get fries some places and they suck, their not fresh, their either stale or whatever, but these fries were on point! The crunch, the salt, the freshness, and they came in a nice sized sack. This place is epic! My wife had a single burger with Buffalo cauliflower bites...they were simply perfection. We will be back. I don't always Mall of America but when I do, I Burger Burger! Truth be told, I don't know what was going on with their soda/pop machine. Their lemonade Tropicana lemonade wasn't all that, my teenage son said their root beer was flat and the Mountain Dew couldn't save the lemonade when I tried to mix it. And you may have to be an engineer to install the beverage topper onto the cup, even the seasoned Burger Burger vets warned us about the cups and the tops...I just went without the top and drank straight from the cup, no straw for me. This was my second visit and I think it's an underrated spot in the mall. Hesitant to share but we've loved that the line is always significantly shorter than many of the restaurants where the food is poor and service often underwhelming but you pay a lot more. Burger Burger you order at the counter and your food is brought to you. It took 10ish minutes for ours to come to the table and it was the busy lunch rush. They have a decent selection of burger options (beef, bison, beyond brand) and toppings along with gluten free buns. I also enjoy their cauliflower wings which are still deep fried but at least you're getting the veggie serving in while you indulge. My son got the Cheeseburger kids meal, which appeared to be a lot of food for him (he is 6), but the age limit on the kids meal is 10. I got the Mac Daddy burger and a side of fries. It took approximately 15 minutes for the food to arrive. The fries were hot and fresh, a little undersalted for my liking, and the burger was juicy. The burger had good flavor, plentiful on toppings (including Mac and cheese bites), with good seasoning and flavor. The bun was tasty and was toasted with the restaurant logo branded onto it. My little family and I stopped to dine in while we were at MOA. We went on a Wednesday night and it's in the middle of the pandemic so it was quiet. We ordered the Bison burger, fries, and and a Chicken Buffalo salad. My husband's burger looked delicious and he really enjoyed it. The fries were a bit salty but my kids still ate it. My salad in the other hand, was drenched in the dressing. It was a lot of dressing and the sauce was overpowering the freshness of the lettuce. The total came to around $15 and there was a line for tip. I thought that maybe this amount of money could get me leftovers for lunch the next day. Nope, not true. That sounded more sarcastic than I intended. I got a Classic Burger, fries, and a chocolate shake. The fries were quite nice on their own; they came with a dipping sauce which I had to select from a variety that they seem proud of. I got chipotle ranch and preferred my fries without that sauce. The shake was average. The burger was, well, I didn't like the beef patty. It didn't taste good. I liked their burger sauce, but the meat is kind of the main thing, and it was diminutive and kind of dry. I see a lot of appreciation on Yelp for their bison patty, so I'll probably try that next time. And some boasting, in the form of wall art, is probably relevant; it elaborates on the exceptional treatment of the cattle which begets the burger that so disappointed me, so maybe it's kind of a free-range-beef-is-different kind of thing. The service was lightning fast, and friendly enough. There is also a bar area that seems to have a lively energy. And I could totally go for more of those fries. This sample set consist of data points for many different types of burger joints from Freddy's, McDonalds, In-N-Out, to some NYC street vendor. Ordered: - Basic Burger with all toppings and an extra fried egg (2/5). This is kind of a mediocre dish. The presentation was not pretty (as pictured) and the product itself wasn't all that great. The egg was alright but I felt like something was missing from this burger. Perhaps, I ordered the wrong dish or did not have the right toppings? - Fries with sriracha ketchup sauce (2.5/5). The fries were meh. It was not too crunchy and a little thick for my tasting. It definitely added some light to the burger though In addition, we saw an internal IT infrastructure outage happen first hand that led to delayed lead times and fulfillment to order. Not a big hassle on our end but it was interesting to see how Burger Burger staff responded. At one point, I saw five resources huddled in the bar area and they looked like they had nothing to do. There could be a revised communications plan in place to ensure that this problem is addressed and that customers are aware of the remediation and time to service. Burger Burger does fill you up and it an okay spot. However, with all the other burger joints at the mall and within the metro, it faces stiff competition that isn't in its favor. read more

We stopped here on Black Friday as a treat, so I tried to keep that in mind during our visit. It was a busy day at the mall and they obviously have had a lot to handle. That being said, there is a lot of room for improvement here. The service is just fine, though it was super awkward to me that the bartender kept hollering at the line that we could eat at the bar without drinking. I'm sure that's fine, but let's not pretend that it wouldn't be incredibly annoying if every spot at the bar filled up with non-drinkers. The checkout process felt a little slow and we waited quite a while to order. This could be attributed to the families in front of us so it's not that big of a deal. The atmosphere is just fine. I don't particularly enjoy dining at any of the sit-down places in the mall, so it's hard to impress me here. At one point I looked over and there are people just gazing into the restaurant to check out the menu, so you kind of feel like an animal at the zoo. The food was a draw. My burger (the French Kiss) was amazing, juicy and full of flavor. My husband got the bison burger and wasn't too impressed by it. Do not eat at Burger Burger. My husband bought 2 burgers with the meal upgrade at $5.50 each. When he went to retrieve the drinks, he noticed there weren't any lids for our takeout order. He asked for lids and they said sorry there aren't any. They didn't offer to return the drink charge of the $11.00 meal upcharge and sent him on his way. Not only is this rude but it's rotten customer service. They should have returned the 2 meal upcharges and charged us for 2 small fries instead....but NO....it wasn't offered!! I want the $4 tip and drinks refunded. This is ROBBERY!! I have the name of the server, check number, and time stamp on the receipt. Management needs to contact us. BTW, the fries were burnt and inedible. Crappy $5.50 small fries x 2. *EDIT: My husband went back and they refunded $5.50 and the manager said they're having problems ordering lids. And this is a customer's problem? Our receipt clearly said TAKEOUT. If you know you don't have lids, don't sell the drinks when it's a takeout order!
