We received our drinks right away, and although we didn't time it, felt like it only took 5 minutes to receive our food. We watched around us and it appeared that was the case with all their tables/customers. Ordered the country fried steak, over medium eggs, hash browns, and toast. BRO, you have a button ON THE REGISTER for "Xtra Espresso Shot" for a reason. You hit it twice for 2 add shots on the latte I'm already paying for. $3.00 for 2 add shots on a latte is reasonable, $5.50 is insane. The ambiance...not that great. It's a small and cramped, elongated, diner-style bar top where it actually does feel like you're in your kitchen. But here was the problem, it was very unsanitary. Audible buzzing of multiple flies and seeing them land everywhere and the kitchen was just so disappointing to look at. The chef prepared food with his bare hands and cross contaminated constantly. Now I can be impartial to the fact that at home, most people do this. However, when you're preparing, serving, and selling food, it's just unacceptable. This place needs more employees and a bigger space because there are health code violations here. I'm sure if those two things were provided, they would be more intentional about avoiding these mistakes.
