Food here is good overall. My spicy tofu soup with seafood doesn't come with a lot of seafood (no shrimp, clam, or squid) other than a few mussels. I paid $2 extra so that definitely not worth the money. I have had tofu soup multiple times, and I don't think it's a thing to have kimchi in there, so that was kind of weird. Chicken bulgogi was good and the side dishes were good too! The fried chicken was definitely my favorite. I loved that the fries weren't too salty and the sauce wasn't sweet either. Chicken also came in bite sizes so it was easy to just grab and eat them without making a mess. Authentic Korean food. Great spot to grab lunch with plenty of parking. Service was good- they didn't hover while you enjoyed your meal and conversation but were always available. Food was fantastic! The pork bulgogi was thankfully not filled with fatty pieces and had a pleasant heat that didn't take away from the other flavors. I was not a fan of their kimchi so that and the "salad" they gave as a side went untouched. I think my only suggestion would be that because the bulgogi is such a great portion, I wish there would have been more to the side of rice. Finally tried K ChiMac lunch and was really impressed. I had the boneless spicy fried chicken thighs , and they were packed with flavor. The chicken was juicy, and had just the right amount of heat. I had it with the pickled radishes, which were absolutely amazing and the perfect complement to the chicken. My coworkers tried the regular fried chicken thighs with no sauce, and it was excellent on its own, but would be better with a sauce. Another coworker ordered the bibimbap, and it was also fantastic. Overall, everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. If you're looking for great Korean fried chicken in Richfield, it is definitely worth a visit. A great way to try out some Korean cuisine! We were seated quickly and the waitress gave us enough time to look over the menu. We really enjoyed the Mandu dumplings, that are crispy and have a flavorful inside. The Korean fried chicken was also a hit. We got the bone in and enjoyed the K barbecue sauce style. But I actually liked the tofu soup and army stew. These soups were not very spicy, but had the spice of the Korean chili flake nicely infused to a flavorful broth. I'm a big fan of glass noodles so the army stew had some nice salty notes with the spam and hotdog. My friend liked the tofu soup and it came with three Bach Chan side dishes. Would be nice for them to have a bean sprout side but the vinegar dikon radish was good! The space was inviting but maybe too bright for me with the lighting. Overall would recommend! We ordered one serving of chicken fried wings and asked if they could split it into two portions for us--and they happily did, which was a really thoughtful touch. The Army Stew was new to me and I would never order it, but my son liked it. The stew had glass noodles, Spam (ham), and hot dogs (sausage) and the broth was a bit too spicy for me with a heavy dose of Korean gochujang flavor. The table near us ordered Beef Bulgogi and I was so jealous because it came out sizzling and smelling SO good. I'd definitely order that next time! We came at an odd time (3pm) so service was excellent since there were only 3 customers at the restaurant. The restaurant had casual modern decor and looked cute. What a cute little Korean spot! The indoor dining room is nothing fancy but decorated in a fun way with some unique, funky dining furniture. Our server was very kind and gave some good suggestions, and the food came out sizzling and hot in stone cookware- perfect for a cold day! We tried army stew, bulgogi and the fried chicken - the chicken was good but actually our least favorite item, since everything else was so good! If I could change anything, I would add more spice to the items that were meant to be spicy - nothing was particularly spicy, we had to ask for hot sauce. New KFC restaurant in the area. I don't want to be nitpicky since they are new and it's a soft opening (at least when I went last week). I know they are still working out some things so I'll leave the rating where it's at but if I get the chance to visit again I'll give a more realistic rating. We dined in. When we waked it was a moment before we were greeted as the person behind the counter was on the phone and there was one server taking care of everything else. Once we were greeted, we were told to pick a table. They have some smaller tables (2 seaters) around the outer dining room and some 4 seat tables with smaller rounded chairs. I will say the round chairs were a bit uncomfortable as a taller person but again there's other seating options or takeout. The menu is super limited basically just different cuts of chicken and a maybe 5 other side dish/entree options. They are still in "soft opening" so not sure if the menu will expand or just stay basic? When we ordered we wanted wings with 2 sauce options as the menu stated that you could choose 2 sauce (half & half) options. We were a bit confused when we were told that they actually can't sauce the chicken and you buy the sauces as a dip unless you order a full chicken? Not sure that I heard everything correct but we were charged sauce that came in little containers on the side. I was looking through other yelp pics and it looked like some people had sauced wings but not the biggest deal but also made me realized that I don't care for chicken or sauces much. We also got kimchi fried rice, it was also okay. The waitress was nice and attentive. Wasn't too busy when we went. There's a parking lot, which makes parking easy. read more

Dinner club was all very pleased with K ChiMac. While they have a counter/large host stand you'll have a server for your meal. Food comes out relatively quickly too! We ordered Soy Garlic wings (messy, but I would have done a second order) and dried dumplings (always a fan favorite). I ordered the glass noodles for my entree, but it was a really hard choice after seeing some of the other bowls and stir fries come out to other tables. I really enjoyed the noodles and thought they were very flavorful. Made even better with the Kimchi provided with the meal. I would certainly go back! read more

A new Korean restaurant to go to. They have various stuff on the menu from stir fry bulgogi, rice bowl bibimbap, hotpot and also variety of drinks like soju, terra beer and makgeolli. But we came here for the Korean fried chicken. It is so delicious and this is not going to be the last time we visit this place. They play k-pop songs on the speaker and NFL game on the tv screen. You can expect crunchy and delicious Korean inspired chicken with very generous portions and a beautiful interior. The service I would say was just ok. We were basically the only people there the day we went and I was surprised that they mostly ignored us once we got our food. K-ChiMac was easy to find, and they had plenty of parking. My wife said the initial feel was similar to places in Korea. We were greeted immediately, and the staff were all friendly. We ordered the Stone Pot Bibimbap and the Soy Garlic bone in wings. The Bibimbap tasted fresh and light! The Soy Garlic wings had an excellent flavor and the sauce also tasted fresh and light. We have had Korean food that had sauces that were too heavy, but this was not the case here. A nice surprise was that they had some boneless wings with their different sauces that we got to try for free. Albeit they were cold, it did give us the opportunity to sample the Yangnyeom Mild and Dakgangjeong sauces, which were both really good as well. Got wings, nuggets & bowl for take out. I wanted to love it because the staff was really good. But truth is we didn't love it.

I was anxious to try K ChiMac as I really like Korean style fried chicken. Unfortunately I found the food a bit disappointing. We dropped by about 5 pm on a Saturday evening and they were not too busy although they seemed to be preparing a number of take out orders. Service is typical of fast casual these days - you place your order at the front, seat your self and they bring your order to you. The restaurant is clean but rather utilitarian - nothing to make you want to linger. The man who took our order was personable. The food was ok. We had the Korean fried chicken thigh pieces, the fried dumplings, and the beef bulgogi The chicken was flavorful but by the time we got home was not crisp. The dumplings were also limp. The bulgogi was the star. There were a couple of small ban chan dishes - kim chi and what I believe was pickled radish. There were two packets of soy sauce - some other dipping sauces would have enhanced the meal. Total cost without tip was 52 bucks and change. I am not in a hurry to return but if I do there is a spacious parking lot. read more

We stopped by late on a Sunday night during their soft opening. The two of us ordered a whole chicken, half with mild sauce and half plain fried. It came with crinkle cut fries and pickled radish. The food was excellent. Service was fast and kind. The space is large, modern, and fun with pop music playing. We left with plenty of left over chicken for lunch the next day. I hope they do well.
