Great place to grab lunch with a friend! It's quiet, it's calm, it just us a relaxed vibe that allows you to chill, unplug and enjoy. I was here with a friend and neither of us had been here before, it was recommended by another friend. He went for the pad Thai with beef and I always go for the pork egg foo young. It did not disappoint! I can eat some food and the portion will fill you up, guaranteed! Our host seated us and let us know she was training in someone new, the service we received was great, they key our drinks filled, they checked up on us every so often if we needed extra sauce or anything. It's a small place, but big in flavor and service. I'll absolutely be back!

Bean curd szechuan style ($8.60). Gloopy, congealed sauce. Edible, but heavy. Indistinguishable from bean curd home style.

This is a stripmall Chinese restaurant that I had high hopes would be a go-to for Americanized Chinese food. We got the spring rolls ($4.04) and fried vegetable dumpling ($6.10 for 8 pieces). Both of these simple appetizers were pretty good. The vegetable chow ho fun ($8.80) was a straightforward, savory noodle dish. I liked it. The broccoli with garlic sauce ($8.60), bean curd home style ($8.60) and bean curd Szechuan style ($8.60) all suffered from the same issues: a gloopy, congealed sauce and TONS of oil. These main dishes felt really heavy, though they did taste all right. Word of warning: the two bean curd dishes (home style and Szechuan) are indistinguishable from each other. If you're looking for great Americanized Chinese food, head a few miles south to Hunan Restaurant in Bloomington, which is stellar. Yangtze in St. Louis Park is also great. For something authentic, check out Grand Szechuan in Bloomington or Szechuan in Roseville.

General Tso's lunch special with chicken fried rice

I've been searching for the best cheap Chinese in the Twin Cities, and the latest I tried was China Garden in Richfield. I went for the General Tso's lunch special, extra spicy. The chicken wasn't overwhelmingly spicy whatsoever, but their "spicy" version would be the perfect balance of sweet and heat for most. I had to throw a bit of sriaracha and hot chili garlic sauce in there, but once I did, it was certainly on point. The meal came with chicken fried rice, which I really enjoyed as opposed to pork/veggie fried rice. Furthermore, you can add on any soup for $.50, making it a crazy steal. The food itself was a 3/5, but the bang for your buck for a lunch special with soup ($8 after tax) definitely took it up a star!

Szechwan Tofu (vegan!) extra spicy with a side of veggie egg rolls.

This place is just what you'd expect from a cheap Chinese takeout spot - and we love it in our house! My brother LOVES the orange chicken. The lunch combos are super cheap and really good. They deliver right to your door, and the food arrives really quickly & is always sill piping hot. They've always made our orders perfectly and accurately. I would recommend this place if you are looking for yummy Chinese take out.

A great way to try out some Korean cuisine!…read more We were seated quickly and the waitress gave us enough time to look over the menu. We really enjoyed the Mandu dumplings, that are crispy and have a flavorful inside. The Korean fried chicken was also a hit. We got the bone in and enjoyed the K barbecue sauce style. But I actually liked the tofu soup and army stew. These soups were not very spicy, but had the spice of the Korean chili flake nicely infused to a flavorful broth. I'm a big fan of glass noodles so the army stew had some nice salty notes with the spam and hotdog. My friend liked the tofu soup and it came with three Bach Chan side dishes. Would be nice for them to have a bean sprout side but the vinegar dikon radish was good! The space was inviting but maybe too bright for me with the lighting. Overall would recommend! I have had many a tofu soups in the cities and i would say this one is my favorite!

Food was fantastic! The pork bulgogi was thankfully not filled with fatty pieces and had a pleasant heat that didn't take away from the other flavors. I was not a fan of their kimchi so that and the "salad" they gave as a side went untouched. I think my only suggestion would be that because the bulgogi is such a great portion, I wish there would have been more to the side of rice. Over all, I really enjoyed my first experience and look forward to trying their fried chicken next!

After picking up the kid from school today, she said she wanted Subway for dinner…read more Right next door was a Wingstop that recently opened up near 66th and Hwy 77 (Cedar Ave) in Richfield, and I wanted to check them out. We went in and it was immediately evident it was a takeout place only. There were two benches in the lobby and no tables, but the place was really clean. I ordered 5 Louisiana dry rub wings, and 5 of their Atomic wings (the hottest offering). I was the only person in the place waiting for food, and I was impressed that everything was made to order. The fryers were in plain view so you could see your order being made. About 7 minutes later my food was ready, and we went home. The wings were still warm when I opened them up, and I was happy to see the container was perforated to let the steam escape (no one likes soggy wings). I tried one of the Atomic wings first. This is the hottest wing Wingstop offers, and I had high hopes, since I LOVE the burn. Nope. It was barely a step above the average buffalo wing. I NEED THE HEAT! Next was the Louisiana dry rub wings. They faired better, and had good flavor. The size of the wings were pretty good though, and the crispy of the fry came through both of the wings. All in all, the Wingstop wings I tried were just okay. A step above average compared to other places offering the same thing. Bottom line on heat: If you label your wings as Atomic, you better blow my mind. This is coming from a guy that goes through a container of scorpion pepper sauce a week. Make your Atomic wings HOTTER please! Otherwise not bad. The kid wants to try the lemon pepper wings, so I'll give it another chance. Bottom line: Slightly above average for this location in Richfield.

That being said, it is otherwise similar to other Wingstops in that you can expect great wings, fries and ranch! We've tried it both ways- ordering online or going inside to place an order and wait in the few seats they do have for waiting guests. In both cases, your name appears on a screen so you can see how much longer it'll be til your food is ready. Every time I've gone (about 3x so far), they've managed to get something wrong about my order, which is not surprising considering they're a pretty new location. But yeah the wings are fire and the ranch is internationally acclaimed.

Twice the meat, freshly made to order, full flavor selections dry rub or wet. Chicken tenders, bone in, boneless, several options to choose. One guy seemed to be working when I was there, he was very friendly amd seemed excited to serve customers. Told me all about the menu and gave me recommendations. I had 2 different dry rubs along with 3 sauces. Everything is made fresh and while I waited, he let me try the boneless wings sauced. They were super crispy and delicious, and I usual only do traditional. My food came out super hot! The dry rub wasnt very salty so that could be a plus or minus but the sauces are where its at. I tried the jerk, mango habanero, and Thai chili, all great. When I go back, I will probably get them tossed in a sauce now that I know what I like and they actually had spice to them.
