Waited a few weeks to go and was very pleased. The sandwich was very balanced and tasty with soft flavorful bread. Service was great. Folks gotta support this place. read more

We recently celebrated my grandsons Highschool graduation and chose Firehouse Subs over some of the other subs in town to cater our party. I had only eaten there once at an airport in Florida so I had to trust my daughter who highly recommended Firehouse. We chose three party boxes (2 deluxe and one regular) and a large bowl of meatless salad. I was a little afraid that the sandwiches might be too small so I added the regular box just in case. We had 25 people who ate at least two or more sandwiches and had sandwiches left to send home with those who wanted midnight snacks. The sandwiches were a nice size and came with plenty of condiments and bowls and other helpful utensils which made it easy to serve. The pickles were great also. I want to thank the owners and the gentleman at the shop for being patient with me when I placed the order. I would highly recommend you allow Firehouse subs to cater your party. read more

I've never been to this chain before, but when my mom told me that I would get a free large drink with any sub purchase, I decided to come check them out... ...and I'm glad I did! Yes, the subs are a few dollars more than Subway, but you get what you pay for. I had the Hook & Ladder medium sub, with the pickle spear on the side and provolone cheese, mayonnaise & honey mustard only. The bread was warm, soft and overall good. I was full and happy. There was one guy who acted like a jerk to Becsy, asking for his money back on his soda cup because "his family was waiting and he couldn't wait for them to change the soda sweetener", but she handled it very professionally & nicely, refunding his money. Now, this isn't Universal Studios. Check if the soda you want is available on the machine BEFORE you waste a cup and people's time. That irked me in a big way how he acted. Also, they aren't going to hold up the whole machine to change ONE soda. That isn't cost efficient, so they have to wait until a few run out. Overall the staff here is super friendly and very efficient. Becsy was very nice, helpful and great to have a conversation with. I WILL be back to this Temecula location! read more

I was not aware that it was 30 minutes to closing time, but I ended up putting 2 and 2 together after I noticed the bathrooms were "closed"! The two employees also covered up the trash disposal openings with a metal tray to keep customers from placing trash in the trash can! They told me to give them my trash and they took my tray to the back to throw it into one central area. The young girl was also sweeping the dining area while I was eating! She had also stacked chairs in half of the restaurant so customers only had a certain section to sit at. Basically, the employees are cleaning the place while it is still "Open", inconveniencing the customers. Make sure you go early if you want the service you should get regardless of the time! read more

The food was so delicious and fresh! Customer service was great too. I got the Club on a Sub which was amazing! We ordered ahead and even waited in the parking lot after we got there for about 10 minutes before heading inside. The food still wasn't ready right when we got inside, but the worker was very friendly and made sure to finish it up right away. Overall, great experience. The wait was definitely worth the flavor! read more

Good sub, better than Jimmy Johns, Subway, etc. I recommend the Engineer Company. It's not on the menu, but it's a better version of the subway club. Reasonably priced as well. read more

Asked isis if we could use a one day expired coupon deal and worker here told us no problem. When it came time to use it she then said the system wouldn't allow her to use it. We wanted to speak with a manager but she was the "manager." Then we wanted to know if she was able to discount us for the misinformation. She said she didn't have the capability and was very rude while saying so. Then went on to have an attitude when bringing us our subs. Subs were weak with very little in them. Definitely don't recommend this place. read more

Been here before, but today was excellent. This place serves up fresh subs created with care. A huge step up from the other guys. They do go heavy on sauces, but it is a nice balance. Just go. read more

Very yummy sandwiches and different from what you would get at other sandwich shops. The service was also good.

My wife and I have been to a few Firehouse Sub franchises but never gave a thought about going back to any particular one until we visited their Temecula branch. We have become regular customers since our first visit about three months ago. We found their sandwich selection to cover a wide variety. Although reluctant to try a warm Italian sub we both tried one and found it to be one of our favorites. Each sandwich comes with a pretty large crisp pickle that is always fresh and delicious. The best part of their place is the friendly woman that runs the place and that includes her young staff. All of whom aim to give the best of service. The prices are very fair and the quality of their food is always good. On your receipt they always ask you to go onto their website to complete a review which upon completion gives you a code to write onto the receipt and next visit hand it to your server and it gives you a free medium drink. If you sign up for their app you get points for the dollar amount you spend, which gives you reward points for free food items. My suggestion is to give them a try. I am sure you will agree with my review on their food and also their staff As an extra bonus they support our local firefighters. read more

I ordered the medium Italian, sub was great just as I ordered, pickle that they offer was soggy no crunch with limited flavor, lastly all of their hot sauces are pretty much empty, must replace all immediately. I would I will return. read more

I love this place. I know they say they specialize in hot subs, but I always get a cold turkey/cheese and it's AMAZING. I prefer over Jersey Mikes. Plus excellent service, everyone there is super nice. read more

I wish I could give more stars! Marsha (manager?) welcomed me and my boyfriend with open arms and helped us select something from their vast menu. She help me substitute a few things on my sub and let me tell you we weren't disappointed!! Best sub I've had in a very long time! We couldn't stop talking about how good they were! Can't wait to come back and try something else! Great staff, great place, great food. read more

Amazing sandwiches and service. Also the bathrooms are the cleanest ive ever seen in any restraunt.

Several weeks ago, my wife and I went here for lunch. Subs are good, but it took 21 MINUTES for them to make the order. As a consolation, they gave us a couple coupons for two free medium subs: nice gesture... We went again and used the coupons... it took them 28 MINUTES to make the subs -- no consolation coupon this time. The takeaway here is to go when you have a lot of time and not during your limited lunch break. Advise to Firehouse: work on your process or hire a couple more sub makers during lunch time. read more

This is a new to the area business so I feel like some folks should give them the benefit of the doubt and lighten up on the service.... Most restaurants have hiccups initially. Anyways, came here for the first time last weekend while en route back home to Chula Vista and I must say, this was my first visit to this chain and it's GOOD. Very good sub... I had the ladder sub and wow... Amazing. Their cookies are good too which is a good addition. I felt like the service was good enough and will likely get better with time. I'll definitely be back.... I didn't even get diarrhea either which is saying something considering my volatile case of IBS. Anyways go try this place out its awesome!! read more

Impressively slow service. I came in with a free sandwich voucher, because a supervisor handed them out due to poor/slow service earlier this week. My second trip was somehow worse. I ordered to go, and watched 4 people behind me get their food before I did. Eventually I decided to ask the crew what was going on, and the order wasn't even being prepared yet. It's ridiculous that my order (which was placed 20 mins prior by that point) isn't even started until I go out of my way to complain about it. If the bad service wasn't enough, when I finally got my order it was wrong. Summary: Don't go here. read more

The food was good. But I don't think 2 sandwiches and 2 bags of chips with no drinks is worth $26. The 4 girls working weren't particularly friendly considering I was the only person in there. I walked in, no one greeted me or even looked up. I stood at the counter for a couple minutes before I finally asked if I could order. And also my sandwich didn't have the bacon I ordered... So, eh. read more

I didn't really care for it. Took 20 mins to get my sandwich and there was only 3 customers in the entire place..The sandwich was barely average. The inside Decour was pretty cool, and that's about the only positive I got from going there. read more

Was driving by and noticed it was a new dining place in Temecula. I'm always down to try new establishments. So excited i did, they have a large variety of hot and cold sandwiches, a kids menu and chips and goodies. The place was larger then I assumed from the outside, nice set up, clean and the staff was very friendly. The food was amazing, huge portions. 8" or 12" offered. I got the Italian and am a super picky eater, it was scrumptious, my husband got the brisket sandwich and sounded like he was making love to the sandwich while eating it, mmmmmmmm lmao!!! The place was pretty busy and they made the food super quick. Very happy I made the choice to stop in. Let's just say I give this place 5 thumbs up. We will definitely be back! read more

One star is being generous, this place is just plain bad. I just wasted over $30 on 3 sandwiches and a kids grilled cheese meal. the only sandwich that was eaten was the grilled cheese all three of the others were terrible and not finished. Two of the sandwiches were covered in black pepper, the third was a chicken salad that I asked for white bread, they gave me wheat which I hate... This is the second chance that I gave this place, the first time I was under-impressed but thought I'd give it another chance and just order a different sandwich... There will be no third chance. Steer clear of firehouse.... Rockin' Jenny's is jut on the other side of the mall and MUCH better, Jersey Mikes is also close, choose one of these two instead. read more

I'm sure most people who come here aren't vegetarian I'm sure the meat sandwiches are better but for me the vegi sandwich was just okay kinda mushy and bland and it took a long time to make. read more

Something new to try? I will test it out and Firehouse Subs passes the test. I ordered the BBQ sandwich double meat and got chips and a drink for $14.87 with the 20% military/first responder discount! They use Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and the cashier recommended Jalapenos which added some balance to the BBQ sauce and make a awesome sandwich. Staff was friendly and even gave me a quick education of how Firehouse came here from Florida where the Firefighters started it. I like this franchise and what it represents and will return! read more

Been here twice now. Sandwiches are more expensive and smaller than other sub places but has more meat. The last time I came, they made 2/3 sandwiches incorrectly by including mayo when I specifically asked them not to. I didn't realize until I arrived home so I don't know if they would have remade them if asked. read more

This place is cheaper than subway and ten times more delicious too. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sub...so good.

Went here for a late lunch with my boyfriend and his son. First of all the menu was a little confusing. I was very very disappointed. Worst sandwich I've ever had. I ordered a turkey club with everything. Couldn't even find the cheese in the sandwich. It was a sloppy mess which consisted of mostly mayonnaise. Lettuce and tomato. It was as if I had asked for a mayonnaise sub. We had two regular combos and a kids meal all came out to 31$ a little bit pricey for not so good of a quality of sandwhich. The kids meal was even eaten he ate the chips and dessert but didn't like the actual sandwich I tried it and it was again, mostly mayonnaise. Will not be back I'll take my business to Jersey Mikes which never disappoints and is a great price for the quality. read more

Pretty good subs. I've been waiting for one of these to open in Temecula for a while. I like Jersey Mike's better but this is a close second. I had the Italian which was better than Subway but not as good as Jersey Mike's. I will never eat another subway sandwich again. read more

Good sammich. Bread held up pretty good, no soggy bites. A skosh too much mayo and I say that from a mayo lovers point of view. Good meat!! read more

I'm telling you once you have these subs you will not be able to have another sub anywhere else and be satisfied! The staff is great, so awesome and welcoming. The managers are also great and very helpful. All the subs are great. The brisket is mouth watering and I'm addicted!!! The hero and Italian are also great. Meatball or chili is great on the cold days too!! My mom loves there salad!! read more

Incredibly disappointed. I ordered my sandwich to go, drove through McDonalds for a happy meal, and then straight home. All of this less than a mile from the restaurant. My sandwich was a soggy mess. I could literally run my finger across the bread and scrape off goop. I was unable to run back out so I valiantly attempted to eat at least part of it, but I could only suffer 4 bites before tossing it in the trash. I'm not sure what upset me more, throwing away over $10, or the time I wasted waiting for that slop. Perhaps this was a fluke, although I fail to see how, but I will not visit again. I get a much better sandwich with a cold cut combo from Subway, and it's only half the price. read more

Walked into this place, first thing I noticed were the high prices on the subs. I then ordered the turkey bacon ranch sub. My girlfriend and I sat down waiting patiently for our overpriced subs, and all she could wonder was what kind of soda beverage we should be drinking, I could feel this evening was already turning out to be a nightmare. At last our subs arrived at our table, I looked down in amazement at the devine beauty of the sub in front of my face, it looked even better than the picture! As I bit into the sub, my taste buds were jumping with joy over the mouthwatering luxury sub. It was more than I ever could dream it to be! As I was chowing down on this delicious creation, the manager walked over to me and asked how I liked it, I responded, "this is literally the best sub I've ever had in my life" I highly recommend this place to be your go to! You will not be disappointed, if anything, the subs should cost a lot more money because that's how I feel about firehouse subs, thank you. PS: But please don't raise the price ;) read more

First time to Firehouse Subs. Not sure what makes this place different from Subway or Togo's other than service is slower and prices higher. Sandwich was good but definitely on the small side. Togo's large sandwich is about the same price as the Firehouse medium. All in all a little disappointing read more

Warning! This next review is extremely hot, proceed with caution. I am a patriot! I believe in this country and the things it stands for. The military, police and firefighters all deserve a round of applause for what they do on a daily bases. They are our modern day gladiators. Getting in the ring with the animals of the world and coming out victorious. However, I don't like to mix my hero business with pleasure. A sandwich shop should just be a place to be fed sandwiches and not patriotism. I need to be able to judge the food based solely on its taste and presentation. I don't want to be influenced to appreciate the food because I have a love for civil servants. The way to a man's heart is thru the stomach and that is what I want to be judge and jury. Having said all that I would give firehouse subs 4 food based stars. The most important part of a sandwich is the bread. The bread was soft, had flavor and wasn't so large that you had to bite it from all angles. I had a hot sub sandwich so I anticipated some melting to the cheese. I think the cheese may have melted a little too much to the point it got all clumped together. I ate the turkey bacon ranch sub, emphasis on the ranch, they went a little heavy with it. Despite some minor infractions the taste was even thru out the sandwich. Meaning there were no surprise bites of something you missed from the bite before. The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the unnecessarily complicated soda machine. It is one of the buffet style soda fountains where all the drinks are mixed and dispensed out of the same nozzle. The process is unnecessary and the cherry Coke doesn't really taste like cherry Coke. So in closing, keep patriotism out of the kitchen and in our hearts and minds where it truly belongs. read more

Firehouse has the best submarine sandwiches from all the big chains including Subways, Submarina, and Quiznos. However, the Temecula chain has the worst service of them all. They refused to take my coupon for a free kids meal when I buy a combo meal at regular price. They stated that this location do NOT accept my coupon. The coupon clearly states that this location is one of three locations that honors the coupon. The manager refused to help me get the deal. I have NO faith in this store! Anyways, I prefer Jersey Mike's instead of this joint!! read more

Really impressed with the subs here. Definitely felt like a fresh take. I had the New York Steamer which was great.

I was in here Thursday 3/30/17 at around 3:00. The lady who helped me was super sweet. I mentioned I was eating in my car so she cut my sandwich in half and wrapped each half individually for me & gave me extra napkins without me having to ask for either gesture. I truly appreciate that kind of service. If she is not your manager make her your manager & have her teach people how to treat customers. Thank you very much for you professionalism and the great sandwich. read more

Super yummy sandwich, a lil pricey as my husband & I got the meals with full length subs and it was $30 (only reason gave 4 not 5 stars) their slogan is piping hot & piled high.
