We love Firehouse! We eat it at least once a week and it is usually amazing. They have a great rewards program where we often get a free sandwich. They even gave me a free sandwich on my birthday. Last night was not the case. I tried to order through the app and it would not work. I kept getting an error message so I called the store to order. After I got home and went to eat my sandwich there were no hot peppers (this had happened before), no Italian dressing, no balsamic, and a pickle spear on the side (I had said no pickle spear). My sandwich was basically dry. One of the things I love about Firehouse is the sandwiches literally drip with tasty deliciousness. I was disappointed. Before I ever tried Firehouse subs I thought I only liked Port of Subs for a sub sandwich. But now since I've had Firehouse subs, I have a new favorite sub shop. These subs are like nothing else, they come warmed and with the perfect amount of fixings on them. All subs come with a pickle and you can also add chips and a drink for a combo meal. The freshness of the meat, bread and cheeses is what makes these subs extra good. Average price for a medium sub is about $10. I especially like that this company gives discounts for all first responders. I will continue to get my subs from Firehouse ! read more

The Turkey Bacon Ranch is probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. The ranch sauce was super creamy, the bread perfectly toasted and it was made with excellently portioned toppings. There wasn't too much or too little of anything. I ordered a small, but I definitely wish I would have ordered a larger one. However, the macaroni and cheese was some of the worse macaroni and cheese I have ever had in my life. It was watery and bland and I was super disappointed, taking one bite, and throwing it away. Overall, I would definitely come back, I've heard amazing things about the potato soup and I have dreams about that turkey bacon ranch sandwich. It's hard to find the type of customer service anymore that I received today at Firehouse. I called this morning to make a catering order and the were very busy and had to put me on hold. As I was on hold I'm pretty sure my bad service cell phone dropped the call so I gave it a few and called back. They were so happy to hear from me!! I came in about ten minutes later than I had scheduled to pick up and they weren't quite ready but it was no biggie. To them though it was and they were amazing!!! First of all, my hubby and I are former volunteer firefighters, so that was the motivation to try out their subs. They make donations to local fire departments and public safety for equipment. I chose the Firehouse Salad- trying to eat fewer carbs these days. WOW! it was huge! And the presentation was well done for a "fast food" restaurant. However, I felt it could have used olives or pickles or pepperoncini. As you can see from the before and after, I enjoyed it anyway lol. The balsamic dressing was good- not the best ever, but tasty. The hubs had the Steak and Cheese sub combo with chips and drink. It arrived piping hot and full of gooey goodness. They also have Firehouse chili, which I'd like to try on a future visit. 2nd time visiting this place. The first time was amazingly good, food was done well, tables clean, etc. This time, not so much. Arrived there right before lunch time (11:50am). About 6 people in line to order and 1 person taking orders. We kinda felt bad for him cuz he was really overwhelmed. Then he started snapping at people... "get it together" or "you should know what you want" or "everything is listed on the board, don't ask so many questions"... Hey, this oughta be fun! We placed our order and looked for a table. Customers had their order numbers on each table, leaving nowhere to sit. After counting heads, we realized they weren't cleaning or clearing tables. We cleaned up a 2 seat table and went to get our drinks. BOTH MACHINES WERE OUT OF ICE! We were told that they "hadn't had a chance to fill them this morning". Received cold soup, a meatball sub. Tried the new Firehouse sandwich location near my house. Ordered on line to save time, arrived at location on time and order not ready. A very nice guy said it would be a few minutes, no problem. After sitting there 5min. I heard them put in my order. My wife's turkey bacon sandwich was just OK but my pastrami/beef sandwich was half fat, not appetizing nor tasty. We discovered Firehouse in Carson a couple years ago, so we were excited to see them coming to Sparks. I was super impressed with how smoothly everything was operating within their first few days being open. Everyone was confidently operating as a well oiled machine. The first visit involved an overwhelming pressure to fill out the survey, which we heard from multiple people while we were eating. Aside from that pressure to evaluate when we just took a bite, the food was good and service was great. Subsequent visits have been through drive through or ordered to-go, so the evaluation pressure may have dwindled since opening week. The food is consistent and service is always friendly! I also love the freshness of their salads! Their prices are a little steep but they have a GREAT reward program that's easy to use, and all of their sandwiches are easily splitable. me and my friends came here and when we first walked in we were not greeted ( every other customer was ) and the person working at the register whispered something to her coworker along the lines of "yeah, all of these girls are gonna..." Normally this place has been fantastic but lately there has definitely been a change in quality customer service at the drive thru. The last 2 times I have gone to the drive thru my order has been incorrect. I suppose it's my own fault for not checking before I got home (especially after the first time) but I will from now on especially when I order & pay for medium sandwiches and get a very small small (child menu size). Also when I gave the drive thru employee $2 at the window to put into the support the firefighters bin, he put it directly into his pants pocket. I wish more local chain restaurants would go in and see what I'm talking about. Their employees are always genuinely friendly, courteous, and seem to enjoy their jobs. Came to Firehouse because everyone was raving about it. So, one day after the gym I hit up this place. I ask for a medium steak and cheese sub sandwich. It cost be about $12.50 for the sub and a soda. I was so disappointed in the sub. Yes, it was hot, yes it had steak and cheese on there. Yes, I added mushroom and peppers....
