The wait of 25 minutes in the drive thru for 4 cars was quite long but acceptable at this time. The gross thing was watching the worker that took my card wearing gloves turn around with the same gloves and help with the food prep. Touching the bread and unwrapped sandwiches. Not sanitary at all. Protect the worker just not protecting the customers at all. Do better people. read more

Awesome sub! I got the #10 bbq smoke house brisket was satisfied! Only complaint would of asked for it with no mayo but that was on me. The guy at window saw I had my son in back and gave him a firefighter hat he got excited and wore it all day will definitely be back for others. read more

Never been here, but gooooood lordy. Went with 2 sandwiches, turkey bacon, and beef brisket, seriously, i will have to bring a towel next time. Sooo good i needed to wipe off. I was in the mood for something a bit different from our usual take-out food rotation. My husband and I had discussed getting Firehouse Subs the night before, but then our plans changed. I stopped by about 6:30pm on a Wednesday night after work. There was one car in the drive thru ahead of me, but I'm not sure how many people might have been inside. I don't feel I had to wait too long to order, but it did seem to take awhile for the person ahead of me to get their order. Maybe it was a large order? The gentleman working the drive thru was very friendly. It did take a little while to get my order as well. I ordered an Engineer (Smoked turkey breast, melted Swiss, and sautéed mushrooms), a Firehouse Hero (USDA Choice roast beef, smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, and melted provolone), a bowl of chili (our favorite!), and two large drinks. I did request no pickle spear, but they were served with the sandwiches anyway. My husband is not normally a pickle eater, but he enjoyed his spear. I normally love pickles, but thought it tasted a bit off. Maybe it was just me. Both my husband and I enjoyed our sandwiches (which can be ordered small, medium or large - we got the large). I could only finish half of my sandwich, but my husband ate all of his. The sandwiches were fresh, tasty, and satisfying. Definitely recommend Firehouse Subs for a change from the usual sub shops and highly recommend the chili! read more

The subs here great! You can even buy some meats whole from a small fridge close to the registers. I ordered a medium sandwich and it was smaller than I expected but still delicious from the first to the very last bite. My only complaint is that it is pricey for a sandwich place especially when you make it a combo. But it's great that you can donate to the firehouse. I cannot say enough great things about Firehouse Subs. I went in on Black Friday, needing two catering boxes for Saturday's UNR/UNLV game. Joel was so accommodating - took the order and when I told him I needed to pick up the order at 8:30 a.m. (they don't open til 10) he said "not a problem - they will be ready for you". I pulled up at 8:20 and he brought them out to my car. Everything was included and everyone loved the subs. Thank you so much for great food - but even more for the great customer service. This is a drive thru review. Ordering was painless, their menu was a little hard to see from passenger sides. The lane splits into two probably to prevent long lines but it bottlenecks at a weird spot so people got stuck in the single line anyway, since everyone here has trucks or SUVs. It took them three minutes to take our payment. No one came to the window in that duration. Doesn't seem that long? Well it's a drive thru! People go through because they probably came for their lunch break and needed something quick. The minutes add up! Then after the payment it took them another 18 minutes to give us our sandwiches. We were the only one in the drive thru, by the time we got the three sandwiches we ordered, a whole line gathered behind us. From what I could see, there were plenty of staff but they didn't seem to be in any particular rush. They didn't even try to address the wait time. No apologies. Not to mention the person who handed us the bag still had the gloves they were wearing to presumably make sandwiches! The whole top half of the bag was covered in... I don't even know! I saw them hiring far before opening day. There's a bit of an expectation for them to be working harder for at least the first *week* of opening. I was excited because not a lot of sandwich places have drive thrus but for a quick meal meal I should have stuck to Cane's. Pretty sure I could have ordered a sandwich at Subway and gotten it way faster. At least then I would have gotten what I paid for. Fast, inexpensive and mediocre at Subway vs slow, expensive and slightly better than lunch meat from a deli at Firehouse Subs. This might be a better place to enter in lobby to eat. read more

Have gone twice now and both times the order was wrong. Wondering if I will go back. Manager did not seem to care. First time they forgot the cheese and mushrooms on what should be a cheesesteak. The sandwich was horribly dry. Today ordered the club with xtra pickle, no pickles and wrong bread. Macaroni and cheese was half full and cold, no breadcrumbs and drink was wrong. I get you can have a bad day, but 2 in a row and didn't seem to care. For a sandwich, drink and mac I paid $17. Lots of other restaurants I could get a better lunch at. read more

Ok ate here a few times now, a couple deliveries and a couple pick up orders and as far as the sandwiches go, great job. They were made carefully so that they weren't falling apart and they didn't fall apart at any time so already that's good compared to some sandwich places. I've had a few different sandwiches and all of them tasted great. The only complaint I have with the food is with the pickle. Although the pickle tasted alright it didn't seem as fresh as it should have been. It comes wrapped up in a small plastic bag and it seems to me like they wrap a bunch of them up all at once and they are stored for a period of time individually wrapped. Not that big of a deal but it's the only complaint I could think of regarding the food. The delivery's were placed through Door Dash so I can't fault them in any way for the delivery time and as far as the pick up order situation goes, they were very professional and clean. They practiced 'social distancing' and required a mask while waiting for the food so that was a plus for me. All in all a great place for sandwiches especially if your hungry because their large is quite big. It could be slightly more inexpensive but it was worth the money. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great big sandwich. read more

This was our first time trying their subs. Holy Cow they were AMAZING! I had the Brisket and Cheddar my honey had the Hero. The brisket was smokey and hot with melted cheddar and just the right amount of BBQ sauce. The bread is nice and soft and obviously fresh. The Hero was meaty, veggies were fresh and the onions were sweet. It was ridiculously good warm. My honey is the sandwich king in our family and has always sworn by Jersey Mike's. But today he has a new love. I wish we had taken pictures....next time. We can't wait to go back and try other sandwiches. Way to go FIREHOUSE SUBS!!!! See you soon! read more

Have only had the privilege of enjoying a Firehouse sandwich twice. Once in Kern County California just off the Grapevine and the second time was this afternoon in Sparks, NV. Both times I had the large Firehouse Steak and Cheese. If there were only a location closer to my home, this would become my go to for sandwiches. Seriously....this sandwich is that good. The Sparks location was immaculate which was kind of surprising considering how busy it was and the fact the humans tend to be a sloppy species when eating food at a fast food place. The staff was friendly, courteous, and fast without sacrificing quality. When you combine that with the fact that Firehouse was founded by retired firefighters and well know for their never relenting support for first responders, I can't think of a reason not to enjoy a Firehouse Sub when you have a chance. This was our first time eating at Firehouse Subs. The food quality was amazing, restaurant was extremely clean and loved all the decorations. Service was great and price appropriate for the quantity and quality of the food. That pickle was delicious, and I usually don't eat the pickle! I've eaten at several Firehouse restaurants typically have an amazingly satisfying meal while I'm there. Such was NOT the case today. My wife and kids picked me up from work on my birthday today to take me out to lunch. $40 for two large sandwiches, two sides and two drinks. I think I muscled down 3 bites of my large steak and cheese sandwich but even those bites took some serious work. Both sandwiches were ice cold and they're not supposed to be. They're typically steaming hot all the way through. This thing tasted like it had been thrown together from ingredients straight out of the refrigerator. The side of mac n cheese was ok but when you spend $40 for lunch and all you can eat is a half a cup of noodles and cheese sauce, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. 90% of my sandwich went in the trash...my wife did slightly better by eating about half. Not sure what else to say other than we were disappointed. read more
