Pastrami and turkey sandwich with a pickle
Mark F.

Amazing sandwiches on warm, crunchy bread. I've been here 4 times already and particularly liked the pastrami and turkey sandwich. All come with a large dill pickle. The owner is super friendly and works behind the counter making sandwiches. This is a great spot right across from Trader Joe's in Sparks and I strongly recommend you give it a try!

I'm happy to see that this area of Sparks is getting more food options. Went online ahead of time and checked out their menu. The Buffalo Ranch Chicken sandwich caught my eye and decided to order this. What a delicious sandwich! The bread is super tasty and fresh. All the ingredients mixed well together to create a buttery-spicy chicken sandwich! The staff were really nice and focused on doing a great job. The inside is casual dining. I'm looking forward to trying more of their sandwiches.

Salami turkey sandwich with a cup of clam chowder.

We drove to the other side of town for a sandwich glad we did! Our food was really good! I had a pastrami Reuben sandwich and my husband got a turkey and salami sandwich with a cup of clam chowder. My Reuben was warm and on yummy crusty bread with a nice balance of meat, sauce, cheese and sauerkraut. My husband also said he really enjoyed his sandwich. They were really busy, and it took about 20 minutes to get our food. But the staff was really friendly and apologized multiple time for the wait. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the clam chowder. It was a bit fishy. We won't get that again!

Out shopping in the Los Altos shopping center and noticed this new family shop called sourdough so I decided to try it. I had a Reuben, which was very good on very good sourdough bread. That place was very clean. The workers were doing their jobs. They have a variety of soups and salads also so I would give it another try so you might want to try it too.

The food is high quality, the sandwiches are prepared with such detail. We are hooked on the pastrami, and the homemade spread is delightful. I would recommend trying the pastrami or French Dip. However, we have been here 4-5 times and have had many of the other sandwiches. Come check it out.

Went try the sandwiches because we love sourdough bread. We ordered two 6 inch sandwiches, one pastrami and a brisket. The pastrami was ordered with extra mustard and Swiss cheese, to go. Got home and alas no extra mustard and no cheese. Severely lacking on the meat for the 12 dollar price tag, bread was great. The brisket sandwich was very weighty before unwrapping. However like the pastrami sandwich severely lacking brisket but loaded with wet coleslaw. What brisket there was had a good smoke flavor but was definitely lost in the amount of coleslaw. Again for 14 dollars a barely average sandwich. Compared to The Hat for the pastrami, sad.

If I'd known how good it was I'd have bought the 8" and taken half home. My favorite pastrami sandwiches were always the ones where they kept the pastrami hot in juice and it got super tender. But here they just grill it. I was SUPER HAPPY at how perfectly tender it was and WITHOUT FAT. Great flavor! Normally I just want pickle and mustard but I ordered it with the slaw and dressing and added pickle and mustard. It was very good but next time I'll stick with my normal extra pickle and mustard and ask for the slaw on the side because I do not want to miss out on the slaw. It's delicious! And I will be back for another pastrami! So GOOOOD! If you find this review helpful please VOTE!

Not because of the poor quality, but because they didn'teven have the decencia to make sure the Chicken was thawed completely. I couldn'tbelieve they would serve something like this. This was my first time here and will not be returning. Service and the establishment was typical of a fast food.

Greetings my little festerlings!…read more When Jersey Mike's was first introduced into my area, years back, I wasn't really too excited. Figured it to be another fad restaurant that would slowly fade away (like 5 guys should..yuk!). Not really a big sandwich person most of the tme. But I still remember my first time walking into one. It was my first visit where I knew I had it all wrong! I ate there a bunch of times after, because I worked in the same strip mall. Next to Hello Deli which is located in Vista California, and Quiznos, Jersey Mike's is the best sub shop out there! So first I'll say, I haven't had Jersey Mike's in a couple of years at least, and I was delighted to realize that my points have never expired! Matter of fact, after my purchase today, I already have an upcoming reward. So let's get to the review of this particular location by Scheels. I came in on a Sunday around 2 O'Clock or so, and they were pretty busy. Most of the tables taken by eager patrons. Two girls behind the counter and one guy behind the flat top. After using the restroom to wash my hands because I've been working with chemicals (which was clean for the most part) I got in line to make my order. I only had one girl in front of me and then two more customers behind me. I don't understand everyone's angst with the amount of time that it takes. I mean they have to slice the meat and cheese, it's not like walking into 7-Eleven and grabbing one of those rat sandwiches from the bunker fridge. So yeah it took a little bit of time, But I'm not in a hurry, not like I have an appointment with the president or something today. The first girl got my order started. I ordered a giant number 13 with roast beef. She started on two customers sandwiches that were in line behind me. Yes, efficient for them, and no I didn't mind. Now I've been told I have sort of an intimidating presence. The next girl who finished assembling my sandwich was either slightly disorganized, new or maybe nervous. I had to ask her a few times for the same things on my sandwich, and it seemed like she was trying to rush me through because she got immediately to the juice and was about to button my sandwich up when I had to ask her for mayonnaise and relish. But she pulled it through and got it done, got my sandwich, took it home and ate half, and willl probably eat the other half today. I think my total time in line was maybe 10 minutes? Anyhow, the sandwich was great, I got a freebie coming up, and it was nice to have a Jersey Mike's sub after all these years. I'm sure I'll be back again sometime! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. This was my high school gas station, so I was stoked to see they had a decent sandwich place with a bar and seating available inside. Service was great! The kid behind the counter was working solo and he was super friendly and helpful. He did inform me that he was out of dutch crunch, lettuce and peppers. I was bummed because that was one of the reasons I wanted to try this sandwich spot. Our sandwiches were good, just not worth the $29 I paid for them. For these two and the lack of toppings and meat were disappointing. It was still a good sandwich just not what we were expecting. I paid $13.99 for the 775 and $11.99 for Cassius Clay and both are on the website for a $1 less. If you're going to hike your prices; have produce. I wouldn't pay for that ever again.
