I went through the drive-thru last night for the first time, normally I go inside. Their ingredients taste amazing, the portions are great, ingredient ratio is perfect, bread is delicious and there's a ton of it! My go-to is the Turkey Bacon Ranch. I'm not sure if it's just a drive-thru thing, but they put the sub in a container that was similar to an egg-carton in material and the perfect size for holding and eating my sub. You can expect to wait for about 5 minutes for them to make each sub, so if there are some people in from of you it might be a slight wait. We discovered Firehouse a few years ago. This is by far the ultimate sub place! We were die hard Subway fans (couldn't get past the dancing dead rat for Quiznos, and their subs were so-so) for years. Firehouse is one of the first places we search for when we arrive in a new state/place on my husband's work travels. Our oldest son flew out to Michigan to work in December and has now become a devoted patron as well. Firehouse has the best subs, bar none. Never have we found a restaurant nor sub shop that can come close to their quality and they don't skimp on the meat or the flavor. Juicy subs that fill you up so you can't help but smile! Plus, love that we can donate to help with community out reach as they won't accept a tip for themselves. read more

I was so excited to see that we got a Firehouse in Saginaw after trying it in Arizona! They have fast service, they're friendly, the subs are great, and there's over 120 drink choices. Easily better than subway, so don't listen to the complaints about the prices. You can taste the quality in your sub, and you get a huge drink and a bag of chips. I would say that the food is not bad. The price put a bad taste in my mouth. To be honest I prefer to have Quiznos. If your single and can afford to pay 12 to 13 for a sub, then good. But a family of four will set you back nearly $50.00 I would rather sit in a restaurant then eat a sub at that price. read more

i've always loved firehouse but due to poor management i will no longer be spending my hard earned money there. i'll drive all the way to midland from now on. i ordered my usual (i eat here every week) club on a sub, no tomato, extra deli mustard. well i got to my boyfriends house in bay city and see they put tomato on my sub. so i politely call and tell them what happened, my options were to drive all the way back to saginaw and bring them the sub....or just deal with it. they claim the lady didn't hear me so therefor apparently i didn't tell them no tomato. and now i have a sub i can't eat due to being allergic to tomato, or could have paid the 8$ in gas to drive to saginaw and back. so disappointed read more

The food is okay. It's nothing to get excited about, maybe a touch above Subway. I took off one full star of for the corny and annoying "Welcome to Firehouse" the employees chant in unison whenever someone comes in the door. It's got to be an embarrassment to the employees and it's an annoyance to the customers, particularly if three separate set of people come through the doors in the space of 15 seconds. The cashier can "welcome us to Firehouse" when we place our orders. That should suffice. read more
