Very average experience. Steak tacos weren't too bad, but something was off about the taste of the pico. Chips were meh. Guacamole was good. Somewhat expensive. We've been here in the past and had nothing less than good experiences. This visit was disappointing, starting with the worker behind the counter greeting us with "what do you want?" rather curtly like we were a nuisance for being there in the first place. While the server was going through our requests she walked off a couple of times like she was easily distracted and wished she wasn't there in the first place. I ordered the brisket tacos and thought the server skimped out on filling them as though she was trying to make whatever they had in the container last for the rest of the day. Had a great meal at Qdoba. I don't understand the poor rating here. Lots of these reviews are ancient lol! I got a steak salad bowl and it was perfect. I got both dressings on the side to try, and while both were good, the lime citrus vinaigrette was super yummy. The whole thing was on par w a much more expensive salad at a table-service place. The value menu steak burrito, quesadilla, and the new brisket burrito also got high marks! The chips were fresh and thin. Everything was very fresh & high quality. This location really fell off. Everything is bland, no matter how many ingredients you add you won't be able to differentiate between any of them. Made an online order recently and when I got home it was missing shredded cheese, queso, salsa, and sour cream - so quite literally the driest burrito bowl ever, all I could taste throughout the entire thing was the canned black bean juice from the un-rinsed beans. Had to toss it - filed two complaints on the app (first one was ignored as well as the second). So just in general the company doesn't seem to care about it's customers. This is a chain, but it provided a vegetarian dinner in a place where I wasn't sure it would be easy to find one, for less than $10 and 15 minutes. The food is a cut above Taco Bell, with your choice of multiple salsas, type of beans, etc.; the cheese isn't yellow; the sour cream isn't so full of gelatin/gums that it stands up; and the guacamole tastes like guacamole with real bits of avocado. It's the Panera of Americanized Mexican food. I had the "naked" grilled burrito. Next time I might get the plain burrito so the cheese has more of an opportunity to melt. They have some interesting options - poblano pesto? While I appreciated the guacamole, the food failed to grab me. Perhaps it was the assembly line approach; the ingredients didn't really mesh. Still, the overall quality is good, the grilled vegetables were tasty, and finding a place that spelled out which entrees were vegetarian and which weren't in the middle of small-town Michigan was great. read more

Taco Bell this is not! :) They do give you a lot for your money, so don't worry about being hungry an hour later. The restroom was pretty dirty though. Very much like Chipotle. In fact, if Chipotle decided to sue, they may have a case. The entire restaurant was clean and well-lit. Floor to ceiling windows gave a good 270 degree view of the street and parking lot. Two entrances prevent traffic jams. The food is everything you'd expect from Chipotle. They also make it right in front of you, just like Chipotle. You can also get a tortilla-less burrito (for the carbohydrate conscious), just like chipotle. Some of the side dishes may be different (nachos, etc.) but otherwise, it's just like Chipotle. Price is reasonable. Didn't know it was a chain. I think I had a beef burrito with everything except extra avocado. The spicy salsa gives a little kick. Be careful because they may put on too much sour cream. Rice doesn't have as much butter as Chipotle but it's close. read more

Chipotle without the hipsters. Great place to prove your manliness by challenging a friend to see who can eat a burrito faster. They recently raised the prices a little bit, but now you get all the extras you want for free. They don't charge you $1.95 for a spoonful of guac like Chipolte does. You want veggies, 3 kinds of salsa, sour cream, and 3 kinds of cheese? Ask them to load it up, it won't cost you any extra. The tacos are tiny and basically a ripoff. Just buy a box of tacos from Taco Bell. Everyone that works here has a bad attitude. Not sure why. I don't really recommend eating a 2lb burrito but if you're going to, this isn't the worst spot to do it. Being a college student I'm always looking for a deal close to campus. On Wednesday nights after 4 this place comes second best to no one. $5 for an oversized overstuffed chicken burrito and a medium drink. You can't beat that! Oh, and it's amazing. I can't say I have ever tried anything different from here but I can say that I don't know anyone who has been disappointed with what they got. It's assembly line style so that makes it quick and you choose exactly what you want on it. Hot, medium or mild salsas... Choose wisely, the salsa makes all the difference! Never an issue with the food, however as mentioned they have raised their prices a little. I have learned to stick with the burrito bowl or Quesadilla, and I am usually happy. However, depending on the time of day, you will meet some cold servers behind the glass. Sometimes you can give them a break when their is twenty in line, but other times you can't. We had a very poor experience here. I had a chicken mango salad. The chicken was burned but still served. I thought perhaps it was black beans they were spooning on. I love Qdoba, let me say that first and foremost! I was thrilled when they came out with a mini burrito bowl as I don't eat a whole lot and I've never had any type of issue ordering the mini burrito bowl before today. I stopped at the Saginaw location to grab one and the lady behind the line gave me a horrible attitude telling me it's a kids meal and they don't have a "mini burrito bowl" for adults. I asked if she could make it in a mini bowl. She proceeded and then continued to give me the tiniest little portions not even filling the bowl. Once I got to the register the lady asked me if I wanted chips for a side and I said, "no thank you" she then told me I had to pay for a side. I said, "okay, chips then" she then asked what I wanted to drink. I told her "I'm good on a drink, thank you" she then tells me I have to buy a drink as well because the mini burrito bowl is a kids meal. I asked her if she was the manager and when she said yes with a puff I let her know this is one of the rudest establishments I've ever been in and no thanked her for the food. Now I see multiple other reviews on their outrageously terrible customer service and I'm not surprised. Shame on this location, just shame. read more

Look, I love me some Qdoba. I go there a lot, but almost always to the Midland location. But this location just gives Qdobas everywhere a bad name, and they make it obvious that the chain is owned by Jack in the Box. The food here is almost always lukewarm at best, if not cold, which makes me nervous about food poisoning. The employees aren't very conscientious and there's always ingredients dripped into other containers, like one variety of salsa dripped into another. Special orders seem to confuse them. If you live in the area and can do so, drive the extra few miles and go to the Midland location; it's so much better, it doesn't even seem like the same restaurant chain. If you're not from the area, beware that this is not representative of Qdoba as a chain at all. And to the owners or managers of the Saginaw store, please invest in some light bulbs and clean up the soda dispensers once in a while. I always feel like I'm dining in a sticky cave when I eat here. read more
