First time eating at an Unos and I really liked it. I had the caprese sandwich with a side salad....sandwich was really good. Shared a small pan pizza but I was so full I could only try a small piece....it was really good. My friend had the sierra chicken sandwich....he said it was really good. Surprised I haven't reviewed this location before. I used to come here all the time with my parents when we would go up to Birch Run to shop at the outlets. I'm on my bachelorette weekend this week with some friends, and Birch Run is on the way, so we stopped by here for lunch today. One of my friends is vegetarian and gluten-free and they had options for her, although they call it gluten-friendly because it's possible there is some cross contamination. I did the 11.99 lunch special, which includes an individual deep dish pizza plus a salad - you can get the house salad or Caesar. (I got the Caesar) Everything was very good, which is par for the course at Uno's usually, and I love Chicago deep dish but hadn't had it for a while so it was a treat. My husband and I come here often for drinks and appetizers. recently we stopped in for dinner. He had chicken parm and said it was some of the best he's ever had. We also had the pizza rolls for an appetizer, those were really good. I had the meatball and cheese appetizer as a meal. I would definitely get them again. read more

Definitely a fan of this chain. One of the only places in Michigan you can get Chicago style pizza. Our waiter Adam seemed to be auditioning for a role in a horror movie, muttering under his breath when we asked for to-go cups - and don't even get me started on the drink refills, or lack thereof. We just left the business without even ordering. We have a wheelchair with us and they had open high booths in the bar area. Instead of letting us sit there, they tried to sit us at a regular height table. When I asked; "why can't we sit at one of the open booth's?", we were told that it would be a tripping hazard and a safety risk. After a long day of shopping at Birch Run, the date and I were absolutely starving and needed food stat. We didn't feel like driving very far and saw Uno's around the corner, so we stopped in to stuff ourselves with pizza. (because, who doesn't love pizza?!?!) Mind you, I haven't been to an Uno's in years. So long I can't even remember, so it was like going here for the first time since it's been so long. Fortunately, it wasn't terribly busy for a Sunday afternoon lunch when we arrived. We were greeted and seated immediately by our server who did a fabulous job waiting on us. We reviewed the menu and decided to get a large pepperoni pizza to split. I stuck with water since I was a sweaty pig and date went with a mountain dew. (EW to the DEW lol.) Our server said that each pizza is made to order so it would be about 20 to 25 minutes before our order came out. I don't know how long we ended up waiting, but it came out in enough time that we didn't feel like we were waiting all that terribly long. The pizza was fabulous and everything was really super good. I kind of feel bad for not having been here for so long, but it's as good as I remember from back in the day. They also have a nice variety of not only pizza's, but other menu items as well. That was good to see in case you wanted something else. Even though their pizza is on the more expensive side of things ($25 + and change for our large pizza) it was well worth it since we weren't able to finish it all. Pizza was very filling and we even had leftovers to take home. Overall a fabulous experience and I would go back to not only this location but others as well since we loved our food. This food was really good. The gluten free pizza was Chicago deep dish styled like their other pizzas which was really cool! I really liked it. I'd maybe get it cooked well done next time. I ordered a burger and fries. The fries were just barely warm. The wait time was very long, but it wasn't busy. The pizza is tiny for $24.99, it looks like a personal size and has huge chunks of tomatoes all over it. My son's $16 chicken tenders were the same kind you would get for $7 at a Coney Island. Besides the pizza, all the food was room temperature. For the price of everything you would think you would serve bread or something before the meal. Most restaurants that have $16 chicken tender entree's, would at least have two sides, not just chicken tenders and fries. Would not go back because it's not worth the price of everything. The Waitress was nice though, that's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. You walk in expecting great pizza and food. You leave unsatisfied with the food and the value. read more

We ordered pizza, Buffalo chicken quesadilla and house salad with grilled chicken. Everything was delicious and so good. I'm so glad we ordered that for a carryout instead of fast food. Dined-in a few weeks back. It was our first time at this location. The food was delicious as you'd expect from Uno, but we waited 45 minutes after placing our order for it to come out. We ordered two personal size pizzas, so we were not a large order by any means. During this time our waitress stopped at our table only once at the 30 minute mark to let us know it should be out soon. I understand the kitchen might have been busy with carry out orders, but the crazy thing was a table of four near us who ordered afterwards had their food long before we received ours. I had to go to check this place out. I lived in Chicago over 40 years and actually knew Ike Sewell who started UNO's and Due and have often been to the original spots. Though not as good as the original, the pizza was truly first rate and very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and had a wonderful waitress who insured we were well taken care of during our visit. This is a great place and should be given a shot whether you like Chicago style pizza or this is your first time, give this place a try. read more

The wedge salad was good enough, the blue cheese should have been mixed into the dressing and a few leaves were a bit red and old. The only time I eat at uno is when I'm shopping at Birch Run. My boyfriend and I shared the chili and the pick two combo: we did spaghetti and pizza. The deep dish pizza was really good but extremely small portion - I guess it makes sense cause of the combo price. This is my favorite restaurant to go to when at Birch Run. Yes, it's nothing fancy but the greeters and servers are always friendly. Twice now I've gotten the 'Shroom personal size pizza. If you like mushrooms, you'll love this one because these are not sliced mushrooms buried or hidden under the cheese. These are full size, little button mushrooms sitting on top of the pizza. I'd highly recommend it if you love mushrooms as I do. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating. The restroom is clean too, which is a reflection of the good management. Sometimes restrooms are forgotten and they can be a deal breaker if they're not kept up. Service runs the gamut from timely and sufficient to a little slow depending on the time you go and how busy they are, but nothing has been too slow to disappoint. When a restaurant keeps you returning when you're visiting the area and there are other restaurants to choose from, that's a sign that they have good food, good service, friendly staff and a clean establishment. read more

I was around the factory outlet area for shopping. Passed acorss the place and decided to stop for lunch. The place was cozy and mostly empty. Not so crowded may be because it was a week day. Ordered fries, wings, veggie flat bread, and shrimp pasta. Also went for tap beers. The glass on which the beer was brought had cracks on it. Like around the edges of the glass. Didn't like that much. Rest everything the food came out fresh. My favorite were the pasta and fries. The fries were crisp, fried to perfection with some seasoning. The pasta was light, not so creamy and cheesy, with good taste of the shrimp. Wasn't a fan of the wings. The flat bread was okay. Our hostess took good care of us and checked on us time to time to see if we needed anything. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
