Great food and good service! It was kinda pricey but the food tasted fresh and was well made. The corn beef on my Ruben was delicious and it was warm and oozing cheese and thousand island sauce (my favorite part). I will definitely be back just for the taste of that $12 sandwich alone. They had a large variety of drinks (some alcoholic, cause there's a bar in the back) and good variety of chips. They were out of 3 menus items when I stopped in, one of them being part of the special of the day, a little disappointing but not the end of the world. This place is definitely worth giving a try! Both employees even stopped by our table to ask how our sandwiches were and actually we're looking for feedback, I feel like that is rare now a days but this place seems like they really do care about their quality which made me happy to see:)

Stopped here because Tony's was too long of a wait. We should've waited. The sandwiches had little meat on them, lightly toasted, and they added an over powering amount of spicy mustard. The corned beef was the only thing that had good flavor.

Came from the 5 star reviews, definitely worth it. I got the sicilian, like a club sub, so delicious. streamin hot, fair price. Dad - Ruben, hot and Juicy, piled high, so good! Mom - Veggie salad, locally grown greens, fresh, very tasty!

We stopped here while traveling north and man did we pick the BEST lunch spot around!! The subs were phenomenal! He had the steak & cheese... I had a club, but swapped the ham for turkey. We did swapsies because you have to try both!!! And both were super tasty! The owner/chef.. Mr Seymour is a great guy!! Not only welcoming upon entering, but he's great to talk to also. Had me laughing a few times! Oh, and he made me a special honey mustard sauce.. delicious!! It's a great little spot right off I-75. I'd definitely return here any time we're in the area. Can't wait to try other items on the menu!

Good sandwiches. Haven't been in awhile. Better than subway or Jimmie John's for the same prices.

Very good food, friendly and fast service. Pricey though thus the 4 star rating instead of 5 stars. Clean and a nice place to eat.

After looking at the menu, we came to the realization that there's only a few actual Italian dishes served. More of a family American restaurant; however, they do have Stromboli and pizza pies on their menu. Must say that their mixed drinks are extremely reasonable. They did not have Compari to make a Negroni and substituted Aperol. Overall, not a bad drink, especially at only $5! My wife had one of their specialty cocktails which was only $7 but too sweet for my taste buds. We ordered their garlic cheese bread with sauce, little did we know it was actually a 12 inch pizza with lots of mozzarella served with sauce! It was actually pretty good but way too big. I tried their Gonzalo steak tips while my wife ordered their pizza Margarita. Although the flavors in the Gorgonzola steak tips were nice there was only about five steak tips with of pasta and sauce. My wife's margarita pizza was presented well and the slice. I had tasted pretty good. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from Lucas. He was a fine young man who was affable and professional. If we do go back, we would try the Stromboli as it looked delicious!

When I…read morewas looking for a lunch spot with a coworker, I decided to give it another try--and I'm happy to say it was every bit as good as I remembered! One of the things that makes this restaurant stand out is its incredible variety. In addition to the regular menu, they also offer creative specialty menus that the owner features for a limited time, making every visit feel like a new adventure. To start, I enjoyed a comforting cup of the navy bean and ham soup, which tasted like it had been simmering with love all day. My coworker couldn't stop raving about the South African maafe soup, a unique combination of curry and peanut butter that was both unexpected and delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the scalloped potatoes and ham, and it was the definition of comfort food--just like a homemade family recipe. My coworker chose the Light Athena sandwich and was impressed by both the flavor and the generous portion size. In fact, he ate half for lunch and happily took the other half home for later. Of course, no visit would be complete without dessert. Their impressive selection of homemade treats made choosing difficult! I took an Eclair dessert to go, while my coworker took a strawberry cheesecake. The restaurant itself has a cozy, quaint atmosphere with comfortable low-top tables. Service was friendly and attentive, the restrooms were spotless, and having a dedicated parking lot is always a bonus. While the prices are a little on the high side, the generous portions, creative menu options, and quality food make it well worth it. This visit reminded me exactly why I loved this place years ago, and I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying even more of the menu!

The bar was quiet, calm, dark and cold but seemed like a chill vibe. Our waitress was okay, service was quick and she did her job well but didn't smile and wasn't very talkative or seemingly friendly. We asked what her favorite appetizers were and we ordered the Loaded Potato Balls based on her recommendation - they were great! 10/10! Loaded with flavor, very moist and served with 3 sauces - ranch, spicy ranch and sour cream. The ranch and spicy ranch were not great - tastes like they're bottled not homemade. The sour cream though, that was a good compliment. We both ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich - 10/10! They're hand breaded, juicy and tender chicken breasts topped with lettuce, tomato and mayo on a perfectly warm brioche bun. Our meal was served so hot, it was perfect. I would absolutely go back just for this sandwich! The homemade chips for the side were great, crispy and lightly seasoned. I had the tater tots with mine and they tasted freezer burnt, wouldn't get them again. We also had a side of their house made coleslaw and it was perfect, ice cold and a great balance of flavor. Draft beer wasn't super cold - it would be better served in a frosted glass. Overall- it's good, we'd come again! Next time we'd sit at the bar top as the bartenders seemed to enjoy more casual conversation and friendly vibes with their customers.

Our server, Tanner, was genuinely kind and welcoming, which made a big difference. The table was set nicely when we arrived -- wine glass and water glass, silverware wrapped with cloth napkins on a side plate, and a candle lit off to the side. It felt thoughtful and perfect for a date night. We split the French Onion Soup to start, and it was delicious. Maybe a little pricey at $12, but it came with lots of cheese and bread (plus bread on the side), so it felt worth it as a starter. My boyfriend ordered a Long Island Iced Tea -- strong, but no complaints there -- and I got cranberry juice. Both drinks came out in the same glassware as the water, styled like cocktails, which I actually appreciated. No weird "different treatment" if you're not drinking alcohol, which is always a plus to me. We also did the Build-Your-Own Board, which was really fun, and Tanner was super helpful in guiding us through the choices. We picked Summer Sausage, Garlic & Herb Soft Cheese, Smoked Gouda, Fire Roasted Tomatoes, and Balsamic Onion Jam. The Fire Roasted Tomatoes were SO GOOD, and I usually don't even like tomatoes. They were soaking in olive oil (I think?), which had great flavor and paired perfectly with the bread and Garlic & Herb Cheese. I also really enjoyed the Balsamic Onion Jam, savory, slightly sweet, and a little goes a long way. Overall, everything tasted great. I was a little disappointed in the portion of Smoked Gouda compared to the soft cheese, especially considering some soft cheeses can retail around $30 per pound. If you're looking for the best value, you might consider a different cheese option. That said, extra bread was only $1, which felt like a great deal for the amount we received. We were honestly getting pretty full and almost couldn't finish it all. We were seated in the cellar area, which was okay, just a little small, and the music was pretty loud. Not ideal for a Valentine's date when you're trying to have a conversation. Random but important: the bathrooms were spectacular. Individual, spacious, very clean, nice sink setup, pump soap, automatic paper towel dispenser, and even a candle lit. Honestly, 10/10 bathroom experience. Overall, it's a really solid date night spot with great service and good food. Just a couple small tweaks (music volume and cheese portions!) would make it even better. We'd definitely come back.
