The Culver's Bacon Double Butter Burger Deluxe
Brandon M.

I usually get the bacon double butter burger deluxe with onion rings and a drink at Culver's. Excellent food and service. The root beer there is also awesome. Very clean with low top and booth seating along with an outdoor sitting area. Self serve for fountain drinks. Weak wifi. Lot parking. The only entrance and exit is off N. Beyer. For some reason they have a chandelier inside. Nice looking but odd. I will return.

Not as tasty as I remember and the drive thru got our order wrong. It was raining so there may have been some environmental interference with voice transmission. We really enjoyed the cheese curds. They were crunchy and very yummy.

You can never go wrong with Culver's, everything on the burger taste fresh and the pickles are perfect. This location is spacious and clean and the staff is on top of things. The only thing that I didn't like were the pretzel bites didn't have salt on them, other than that all is good. Ice cream is always creamy and the cheese curds are good as was the cheese sauce for the pretzel bites.

They have the best food & best service. Takes a bit longer than most fast food restaurants, but well worth the wait.

The Good: My Rueben was fantastic. Huge, filling, and…read moretasted great leftover. My husband got the French Dip, and it was huge and delicious that we all sampled some of his. The Cheese Curds (which should be called cheese cubes) were yummy and had great cheese pull. Our cashier (I wish I would have gotten his name) was warm and friendly. I wish every worker in the restaurant was like him. The Bad: Becky, our waitress. She had such a sour personality. When we ordered a kid drink (which is stated on the menu) she looked at me like I had 2 heads before saying "oh, a small drink." Kid drinks are literally listed on the menu. When the food was brought out, my husband tried to help by grabbing the plate, instead she moaned at him to move his phone (our daughter doesn't talk and communicates through text, which is why it was out). Becky would drop off refills without saying a word. She never bothered to offer us dessert, which we were going to get. My husband and I have 30 years combined experience working in the tourism/hospitality industry, and this is just uncool. I will also mentioned that my daughter ordered a Meatball sub since meatballs are her favorite food. She told us they were chewy, and not very good. We left conflicted. For the most part, the food was excellent, but they should be ashamed of Becky.

There are places that try to recreate comfort food, and then there's Tony's Restaurant... which…read morenever had to try because it never changed. Walking in feels like the universe hit pause somewhere in the best way. Same feel, same energy, same kind of place you can count on without thinking twice. It's like being teleported back to exactly where you're supposed to be. And the food? Exactly what it should be. No pretending to be healthy, no overthinking it. Just straight, unapologetic comfort. I go there for one thing every time: the hot beef sandwich. Massive. Smothered in gravy... and I mean gravy everywhere. The kind where you don't just eat it, you commit to it. Fries? Those are getting dipped in gravy too, no question. It's excessive in the best possible way. The portions are out of control. You're not finishing it. You're not even pretending to. You're leaving with enough leftovers for the next couple of days and you're not mad about it. It's the kind of meal that feels a little sinful, but worth every second. You'll deal with forgiveness later. Hometown, no-frills, real-deal comfort food that hasn't lost its identity over time. And honestly, that's rare.

Was driving through Michigan with my bro and his three fantastic wee ones in tow. The kids were…read morehungry and we'd been driving for quite awhile, a food pit stop sounded like a great idea. He was driving and I was scanning reviews for a decent, family style place to stop. Due to traffic we took a different route which brought us through the area. A quick call to the number I found on Yelp and discovered they were still open and could accommodate us for dinner. It was a weeknight and the place was empty except for a few take out orders. The decor was dated and the business looked to be family run. Per the menu it's been a family business since its start in 1979. The business switched hands to the now current owning family in 2000. Decent place with tables and seating accommodating any size group whether it be a couple or a group of six. The restaurant is clean, well lighted and suited for a family gathering. Pizza takes time to prepare and since I would assume families come here often, ownership had put in a small game room with arcade games and the novelty crane machine where one tries to win a stuffed animal. (Bring quarters because they don't keep that stocked) We ordered a few different items since we had one that dines gluten free. A couple pizzas, a plate of fries and a special salad for our special one, of onions, tomato slices and cucumbers without the seeds. We could tell the waitress found the salad order odd, but it gets tiresome to explain food allergies. Service took its time and I don't think they either know or have the mindset to be more available. I mean, it's a restaurant which has served the area for many years but I don't think it's ever that busy like that of any pizzeria found in a greater, populated area. So, don't go expecting too much. I find that in slower places, lowering my expectations is best. Pizza was good but it took its time, I would probably go back again if I ever found myself in this area with the same people. Restaurant staff was inviting and there was some good back and forth conversation. The kids enjoyed and we had a good time. The stars are for the charm of the people behind the pizza. The good service, though I will admit it was slow and when we needed things we had to get up and ask for someone to stop by our table. Free and ample parking.

A friend (worked) for this company while back and she only got 29 hours a week & wanted full time. The company is cheap, the pay is low. At their Xmas party in Frankinmuth 2024, he thanked all employees because profits were way up. BUT then said there wouldn't be any Christmas bonuses that year. Why even say this, after saying profits are way up? Even if he thought is was a funny joke,it really isn't when ppl are paid poverty wages. This isn't funny in these days and times. I heard this from my friend and thought " what a turd bag".Ppl don't have to work there, but the poverty wages make the company look pathetic and greedy. They are short staffed a lot. Maybe because the pay. COME ON, pay your ppl so they can at least pay rent and eat a little. They should turn the air conditioner on or fix it too, with their record high profits, its hot in there!!
