Came in with my family and had a horrible experience. The manager gave us a door dash order instead of ours we paid for. When asking for the sandwich to be replaced she became irate and began screaming at me and calling me honey. I went to my vehicle and got the receipt she asked for. I came back in and my daughter came in with her food right after me to show the order was wrong and the manager took it off the counter and threw it away. The manager continued to go back and forth yelling about being short staffed instead of either replacing the order or a refund. The manager decided to call the police on my family and I. I've had some difficult experiences at establishments but never have I had the police called on me and approached by an employee screaming because the restaurant made a simple mistake. I tried their Bacon 3 Cheesesteak. Lots of meat. It was HUGE! Too much for me to eat, so my husband ate the other half. While I was not a fan of the cheesesteak, he loved it! Fries weren't bad. I like my fries hot and the order was a pick-up and not eaten right away, so that probably affected my opinion. It had been years since I went to eat at Charley's Cheesesteaks - the last time was probably around 2017 at the AAFES food court in Tinker AFB. 3 days ago I decided to do something I almost never do - eat out; Charley's got me sucked in. Due to Bidenomics NOT WORKING OUT so good for me, I haven't eaten out since gas prices exploded back in June of 2022, so I can definitely narrow down exactly who doesn't wash their hands that makes Philly sandwiches. I have been sleeping 21 hours a day and only getting up to eat, throw up, and shoot explosive diarrhea into my toilet bowl the last 3 days. I've been eating there for years. I was there the first day it opened. Dined in for the first time in 6 months today and I don't think I'll go back again. Which is unfortunate because it used to be so good and the staff has always been very friendly. But the tables were all sticky, the floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in a long time, and the bathrooms were really gross. Never been a huge steak sandwich fan, but my boyfriend is, so we stop in here sometimes. My favorite is the chicken philly. The chicken has good flavor and there's plenty of meat on the sandwiches. Not only was she noticeably rude to myself as a customer but also to her staff it was extremely unprofessional. Will not be returning to this location due to the rudeness. Not bad for a steak sandwich in saginaw! They are always nice every time I go there. I went the other day and ordered a simple six inch sandwich with mushrooms and cheese and was pleasantly surprised which is a good thing! This place has really gone downhill from the customer service right down to the bread. The bread has changed completely and taste like preservatives like some chemically sugary off flavor. (Which I've noticed most places start to use products with similar taste)Not to mention they don't toast it now?
