I have to start of my review by talking about the coke machine they have where you can formulate any drink with a number of different coke product flavors. Such a great idea! Touch screen makes it easy but would really help if they put up some kind of instructions on how to make the machine work more effectively.  Maybe it being my first time it took me a little longer to figure out then it should have but once i sat down i noticed quite a few other people having trouble with it.  I ordered a cherry limeade that came out a lil to sweet. Instead of dumping it out my sister suggested squeezing some limes in it. That did the trick. The sandwiches here are amazing! A little bit more spendy then the typical subway, blimpie etc. But worth every penny. My sister and i shared a turkey and bacon sub fully loaded with mayo, mustard, olives, bacon, ranch dressing, and onions.  The great was fresh but some of the other ingredients on it were not. Overall i would say the sandwich was a notch above the general sub shop.   With all that being said i really did like the way the set the restaurant up.  Its very clean and bright. The service is friendly.  Im not a huge fan of the location as sometimes its impossible to get out onto fairview or milwaukee so i tend to stay away from these types of places.  It does seem lately more and more menus are places higher then they use to be which i fell makes it more difficult to read. read more

went last night and had the worst service ever. everyone was being so rude to everyone. we were being very kind and social distancing and they were being so mean. the food wasn't good either. it was cut so uneven and tasted old. 10/10 would NOT recommend. read more

Best subs I've had in utah. So yummy, full of flavor, great ingredients. I highly recommend it!!

I've been waiting to leave a review for this firehouse location, hoping that the service would get better. Whenever we do an in app take out order they forget our pickles and don't make the sandwiches correctly. Most notes are ignored like adding extra BBQ sauce on the side. The food in this chain is so good but my family will be going to a location 20 minutes away to get it from now on. read more

20 minutes before closing and they refused to answer the phone, come to the window, or take our orders. They proceeded to lock the doors and clean and shut off the lights BEFORE THEY CLOSE. horrible employees. read more

This is my first time to any Firehouse location and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar footlong and it was quite tasty and flavorful. With chips, drink and a pickle it was about $12, a little high for Provo but on par with other similar places. I will return to try some more of the popular sandwiches. Overall a good sandwich shop in a sea of fast food and soda shops. read more

Firehouse Subs - Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar with a side of chips, drink and dill pickle. Great sandwich, apparently the most popular in Utah. - Fast Food Near Me - Provo, Utah

You know a lot of people told me this place is the best if you want to nice hot sandwich. Personally I think it's a little overpriced for the product that you receive, but all in all it's not a bad experience or place to eat. They do a pretty nice job with sandwiches. The staff are ok. No one that really knocked my socks off with how great they were, but they got the job done. It was a fine experience. I would go back again if I was in the mood for a decent sandwich, and wanted to pay a little extra for it. read more

So so disappointed!! I freakin love FH! It's one of my go too's....I'm a frequent flier - but I will be thinking twice before I go back. Maybe it's this location. Subs were NOT hot or toasted!!!! When I asked, it was yes the buns were toasted and meat hot. If I wanted Subway I could have saved a bunch of $$. read more

Great management, fast service, great food. I'll be coming here more often for sure! The cherry limeade is fantastic

Confession: I have a hard time loving sub places that don't offer much when it comes to bread choices. This is the case with Firehouse. White or wheat just really doesn't cut it. As far as my sandwich, it was pretty good, but mostly because it's pretty hard to mess up ham and cheese when it's toasty warm. Overall, I was definitely happy with my meal over the other options nearby, but not something I'll be craving. The one thing the place has going for it is the look and feel. Very clean, lots of cool firefighter stuff, and they donate gear to first responders so that made me feel a little better about the price of my average sub. The workers were nice, but seemed like it took a little long to make my sandwich that really only had 4 toppings. read more

So I love this restaurant for a few reasons! 1 - Great sandwiches, on great bread, using great meats and cheeses! I love the Hook and Ladder and the Engineer. You really can't go wrong though! Oh and their pickles! Yum! 2 - Great service! You are greeted at the door and they are always willing to give suggestions based on your tastes. 3 - They contribute and are involved with the community! Especially Public Safety! It feels good eating here! Plus I just had a not so good experience at another restaurant. So it feels even better to go somewhere that does it right! read more

Firehouse is consistently delicious. It's a sandwich place so your expectations shouldn't be super high anyway. I recommend the Club on a Sub with the light Dijon mustard as too much and it'll get spicy and soggy. read more

If you are looking for a substitute sub to your subpar subway experience, firehouse is one option. It's good sauce drips on your fingers but is tasty, and is expensive for just like a sandwich but it's also good and different. I only went because I had a gift card, would not go again with my own money. read more

This is probably my favorite sub place. The food is always high quality and great tasting, however, the service is the absolute worst. The employees walk around dazed confused when you're waiting on your food. They are all slow as molasses. Sometimes I wanna jump back there and make it myself they're so slow. I recommend going to the one in Provo only if you want to die sooner and shorten your life expectancy. read more

Food is good but at this particular location they don't allow anyone to walk in unless they're picking up and order. So I ordered online and they said it would take 40 minutes to be ready, which seemed fairly long considering it was not prime time and I saw no other customers, but half an hour after ordering it I walked it and it took a few minutes for anyone to come see me and they hadn't started making it. It wasn't busy at all. I was the only order that I could tell. I generally don't like writing bad reviews, but they required that I paid before hand, then took over half an hour to start making it. Plus I've seen many people walk up to the door and turn away because of how stupid it is that they can't order inside. I don't even know if this rule is because of COVID because there are no mask mandates or anything. So this is more so just advice to the company that the way this provo location is being run is horrid. read more

The food was great as always! The staff there was less than happy to be there and couldn't have looked more uninterested in the job. Stood in the ordering line for a water cup while waiting for my online order, the cashier did not acknowledge me or the other customers in front of me, they eventually walked out. When it was my turn he did not say one word to me and just handed me a cup and walked away. I could see the other two employees behind the counter were busy making a huge order, so I sat down and patiently waited for my order. It was about 15 minutes later than the original promised time, but it was tasty nonetheless! read more

I walked in, ordered a simple veggie sub with 5 ingredients and they couldn't even get my order right! They took it upon themselves, to add condiments that weren't requested. I told them to refund my money!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK. IT ALSO TOOK 15 MINUTES FOR THEM TO MAKE MY ORDER. BOTTOMLINE, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! read more

The slowest service of my whole life. i literally got married, had 4 kids, and turned 69 years old before i got my sandwich. the place wasn't even busy. no one was in line ordering. here were 3 people just waltzing around in the kitchen just touching themselves instead of making sammys. and one useless human being behind the cash register just standing there using up oxygen. sandwhich was good tho once i got it 40 minutes later. no complaints about the taste, just the quality of human beings that were working. read more

So good! They do really well with keeping up when things get busy. Usually, businesses in Provo are lower quality than locations elsewhere, but this firehouse is a really good one. And that captain Sorensen sauce? The best on everything! I recommend this place for lunch especially. read more

I've been here a lot, and it's always a good solid sub. Staff is very friendly and there are plenty of side choices to go with your meal. Only complaint is I wish they would put more effort into their salads. read more

Barely deserves one star. I like firehouse subs but this location has zero customer service. They won't honor firehouse coupons and the manager seems like could use some customer service trainings. read more

Firehouse Subs - Fast Food Near Me - Provo, Utah

This was my first time at this restaurant. This restaurant is really popular and was very crowded during lunch yesterday, probably becausea lot of people were dropping their kids off at byu for summer camps. Because of the big crowd, the workers made a couple of mistakes on our order. However, they were very happy to correct the mistakes for us. We all ordered deli sandwiches. read more

I'm amazed people find their subs good. I tried their Club on a Sub and it was the driest, most boring, unremarkable sub I have ever had. Putting a sub in a toaster doesn't suddenly make it a great sub. I complained to management about it and they shrugged it off. At a whopping $8 after tax, I really wished I would have made my own sub at home or went to the Subway across the street, my experience was that bad. read more

If you like mushy, mayo-dripping, flavor-lacking sandwiches at the length of your choice, then this place is for you! More inviting than the awful colors of subway, or the terrible seating of sensuous sandwich, this sub shop beats those two out as the lesser of three evils. But barely, it's still a sub-par sandwich place. read more

Firehouse makes delicious hot sandwiches. The number ten - barbecued brisket - is delicious especially when Finn prepares it with some thinly sliced jalapeños and a gentle touch of honey mustard. I also appreciate their coca cola soda machine that serves every beverage and flavor imaginable. read more

Never been disappointed with firehouse! Friendly employees, great food and service, always look forward to my next visit, only bad thing is the food is so good I always want more and there isn't one closer to where I live read more

Service here is the best! The owner runs a clean restaurant. Sandwiches taste good every time.

Consistently one of the best sandwiches in the area. The buns are fresh and their meats are fabulous. The sandwich is given to you warmed with cheese melting along the sides. The salad with the balsamic dressing was just as good as the sandwich. This is our "go to" place for subs. read more

Firehouse Subs is the best sandwich shop, hands down. Great bread, meats and flavored. They also have the great Coke machine with the infinite combinations. Cute theme. Great food. Great place. read more

I always love this place. Have only eaten here a few times due to my living in the middle of nowhere, but never disappointed. The drink machine us crazy! I want one for my home! read more

I love firehouse subs, but not a huge fan of this location. I prefer the Orem location because the staff ask about what you want on your sub (I don't like onions or mustard on my Hook and Ladder) whereas here, they just assume you want everything. I think that's because this location is new and the staff are all still learning. I like not having to drive to Orem to go to Firehouse Subs, so I've been to this location a few times until I noticed that the sandwiches at the Orem location always seem to be made better. I prefer going to the Orem location. read more

This place is delicious. My work catered it the other day and the brisket sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. Meatball was a close second, but this place puts the spicy Italian to shame. read more

I stopped in and ordered the steamer (Pastrami) sub today. I have had good luck in the past with meatball subs. I had to throw most of this sandwich away. The Pastrami was filled with fat that was hard to chew. Very sad that this happened. read more

Friendly staff, good subs. Havent been dissapointed yet! I get exactly what i order. and their soda machine has some kind of wizard in it. Always the perfect combination of syrup to carbonation. I stop by here 1-2 times a week read more

I was just able to walk in and wait about five minutes for two large delicious sandwiches. Great service and greeted right away! Always a good place for any meal. I highly recommend. The place was clean and orderly. Kaitlin is very good at her work! read more

I have eaten here twice since they opened. All I can say is the same high quality subs that you expect from Firehouse subs. Excellent staff, as well as management. The restaurant is clean and well kept. The manager even came over and checked to see how things were. What fast food restaurant does that? We will be coming back. They even had the MLS all stars game on. I guess i will come back for the food and the game next time. read more

This is my favorite sub shop in town. I spent 3 months in a hotel and tried a lot of different places. This was the best.

Open, airy comfortable atmosphere. Appears immaculate. Friendly staff. Fast sandwich prep at lunch hour. Great to go containers and execution. My biggest hint of what yumminess was inside? Four cop cars parked outside. Food was delish. I got the meatball on wheat, hubby got corned beef on white. Both to go, both held up nicely. My only complaint is the bread. While mine even held up to the gooey deliciousness of the meatballs and sauce, it sure would have been nice to have rye for the corned beef. read more

I have had good experiences here before, but went in tonight to get a sandwich to go. The sign on the door clearly says that it is open until 10 pm. I arrived at 9:48, hoping to hop in really quick for a to go order, but the door was locked. An employee stood just in front of the door with a broom in his hand, and just looked at me with a blank stare. I pointed to the posted hours of business, but he just shrugged and walked away. I have worked in the service industry before, and I understand that it can be frustrating when customers come in right before closing time and sit around forever. I, however, was a single person, 12 minutes before closing, and the door was already locked. The chairs were all set up on the tables already. They workers were jonesing to get out of there. I get it. But that doesn't excuse poor customer service. You are getting paid to provide a service. Don't forget that. read more

Terrible customer service. Tried to buy dinner here but was turned down because the staff were behind on a large to go order. Seems like any business who wants to retain customers would find time to serve those who are physically at their storefront. read more
