So my husband and I decided to try a couple Firehouse Subs the other night for the first time I downloaded the app and placed our order for 1 large Cajun chicken on white just how it comes and 1 large steak and cheese with some additions on wheat. First. The flavors were good. Second both of us were not happy with the breads. We don't care for subway bread but in this case subway bread would have been better. At least it would have been soft. I think maybe we got older bread. Now there is a saying. "Crust to crust is a must". So I think they need to focus on spreading the sauces, Mayos, and spreads over all the bread so your not eating dry bread and same with the fillings. Spread them more evenly. They definitely have the means to make a great sandwich but slow down a bit and make it like your making it for yourself. The restaraunt was clean and well maintained. I feel like they were over staffed. I don't care how much something costs as long as it's good. So we live very close to this location and when we got home we went to go eat right away but the meat and cheeses were cold in the middle. So I wrapped them in foil and baked for 14 minutes at 350. It still wasn't hot but it at least was warm. We will definitely give Firehouse another try. read more

I returned around 2pm on a weekday and the drive-thru was perfectly normal. No big line. I tried the Firehouse Hero. It was good, but I prefer the Italian. I think the Italian had a more flavorful sauce. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!. I think it's MUCH better then Subway on a Chain Level and I've had 3 different Subs from them, The Italian Meatball Sub, The Brisket and Cheddar, and their Philly Cheesesteak which wasn't THAT bad, but DEFINITELY try their Brisket Sub. The Sizes are on Par although depending on what Sub you get beware the Large,lol. With this Quarantine Going on the drive thru is really only way to get you're food and that's not bad, if you plan on going in the morning/Afternoon Becare ful as the drive thru is PACKED at that time but other then this, it's a pretty good place to eat AND they do Door dash too which is a plus. read more

12/30/2020 I visited the drive through and ordered the #3 on their menu. I knew something was wrong within minutes of eating. I ended up with bad food poisoning from something on that sub. Up all night in extreme pain and discomfort. Today after hydrating myself I still have an upset stomach and bad headache. If you're looking for extreme all night pain, cold sweats and explosive diarrhea, this is the place for you. read more

Decided to try fire house subs for the first time and I can honestly say for the last time. I had the steak and cheese which is supposed to come with onions and peppers I literally had a few onions and four sprigs of green pepper basically I had a meat sandwich it looked like it was just thrown together so there I go into my fridge and getting my own peppers and and onions trying to give this sandwich some kind of flavor the whole point of going there was so I did not have to do any of that when I got home. Super, super SLOW! I ordered through DoorDash. First time ordering from Firehouse Subs. Never had an issue with DoorDash. Says it will take 45-50 minutes. After 90 minutes, I reach my DoorDasher. I haven't been here for a while but this was the worst experience I've ever had here. I ordered my sandwiches at approximately 7:20 pm on June 15, 2021 and they were ordered online mobile order for pick up at 7:40 pm. I arrived inside Firehouse Subs at 7:30 pm approximately and I waited for 40 minutes until I finally got my sandwiches at 8:10 pm. While I waited at least 10 to 12 people walked into the store ordered at the register and walked out with their sandwiches before I got my sandwiches. Two people actually walked in and ordered at the register at 8:00 pm and actually walked out with their sandwiches before I did. The only reason I finally got my sandwiches at 8:10 pm was that I actually walked up and asked if they had my mobile order. They did of course but had completely bypassed me for mobile orders that were ordered long after I had ordered my sandwiches. You could tell people with mobile orders later than mine were walking in well after 7:40 pm when mine was supposed to be ready and they were walking out with their mobile orders well before me. Wow the manager was so disorganized he screamed and yelled at the employees several times while I was waiting very loudly screaming at the employees in a very vicious manner. The manager was completely incompetent and completely unable to manage the slight rush of people at the front of the store. Yes they were slightly slammed but nothing out of the ordinary. I'm not sure if I feel worse for the extreme wait I had or for the employees being so viciously yelled at by their manager. Others were obviously upset by their wait times but I waited longer than all of them. My sandwich was 30 minutes late. I waited for 40 minutes. I recommend you stay far away from this establishment. First impression, pretty disappointed. Sandwich I ordered was supposed to be served fully involved which according to their website includes lettuce,tomato, onions, mayo, and deli mustard. Oh and it was supposed to be served with a dill pickle. What I actually got was bread which was quite dry and stale, meat, cheese, and a tiny little drizzle of Italian dressing. And none of the above mentioned items that were supposed to be on the sandwich. And no pickle. Can't even fully express how disappointed I am with this place. I hope that they get their stuff together and turn it around and truly represent the firehouse subs I have dined at down in the lower 48. Our party of 4 ordered a Virginia Honey Ham, a Firehouse Meatball, a Steak & Cheese, and a Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket. We didn't do any substitutions, just tried everything as is since we'd never been here before, and everyone ended up very happy with their orders. Firehouse Subs on 104th ave, Anchorage Ak. I was the second car in the drive thru on Sunday Aug 29th it was almost 25 minutes before I received my order. As I was sitting at the window apperently the previous customer was forgotten to be charged for their meal which caused a management meeting in the window area. My order was on hold while they had their discussion. Then a new worker was signed into the system before I was helped. About 25 minutes total for two subs and two drinks. It was also noticed the floor in the window area was littered with many rubber gloves, cardboard boxes and just general grime on the floor. There appeared to be enough employees to take care of this mess, at least 2 or 3 employees just standing around. I have been to this store before and they are not what I would call fast but keep in mind each sandwich is hand made. read more

Significant other and I went through the drive through when this place first opened up. We were the only ones in line and waited about 10 minutes for our food (I'm guessing because everyone was still in training). We got the turkey and bacon ranch and the firehouse hero, and a side of Mac and cheese. All the food was served hot, but taste was was nothing spectacular. Around 4-5 pm my husband and I went to this place because I have a huge craving for some warm subs. I am indeed pregnant so it is ideal to have warm food especially with meat products. As we pulled up to the place and we ask about their chili the person taking the order said "Hell ya" as much this was a positive thing. I am pretty sure they are not allowed to curse especially at people who practice Christianity. As we got the order and waited for the chili to be made we decided to eat our subs in the car. Turns out the chicken we order was cold. Not cold in the middle. I mean like really cold like they forgot to heat it. It was really disappointing to have experience this and I hope nobody goes through that. I hope the management sees this or owner and does something about this. I literally just gave my food back and left. I didn't ask for money because I was so disgusted with the cold chicken that I needed to go get hot food somewhere else. Really good sandwiches with large portions but be prepared to WAIT.... I was 2nd person in the drive through today, ordered my food and got to the window in a very reasonable time. The cashier opened the window and stated that there was a cashier change so there would be a little wait. (No choice in the matter so I agreed lol). So I waited, and waited and waited for 37 minutes, at the front of the line for a "cashier change." He finally came to the window with someone I'm assuming is his supervisor and was ready to take my $$. His supervisor then scolded him stating that since I had a card he could have already cashed me out. At this time there are 8 cars behind me from what I could see and several people that had started honking. Like I said- food is good but the wait is horrendous. I get it, it's a new food place so they had to slam a bunch of youngsters in to work. At this point, a month after opening, those quirks should have been worked out... seems like the wait is definitely due to lack of training. Finally, I'm not a fan of public disciplining. If you're employee has done something wrong, tell them in a private and different time. It's rude and completely demotivating. read more
