    Nice thick hot chicken Sammie
    Guy H.

Excellent! I had just left a roaring Christmas in July Party at Harvest Hall. Sitting outside in the food court portion was Fire hawks. After looking at reviews and watching a few being prepared and serviced,I decided to order. They did a good job of preparing a fresh medium spicy and crispy chicken Sammie on a toasted Brioche. I was happy and would buy another.

    Disgusting inedible food

Dis-gust-ing. Visited Firebawks on a Friday night close to closing time while in town. A couple of good reviews, so I was eager to try it out. Turned out to be one of the most disgusting food experiences I've ever had. Wanted of course to try the chicken, so I got the chicken tenders. Lots of other items, so I also got a patty melt. All to go from this food stand. I don't know what it was, but everything had some nasty, terrible taste. It seemed like the fryer oil, but the taste permeated not only the chicken, but also the Texas toast with the patty melt. It was like the oil was rancid. Completely inedible food. I went down to complain, but the place was closed and empty. There is no excuse for not changing frying oil, or whatever was the problem. There are lots of places in the food court. Skip this place.

Firebawks Hot Chicken is a newer to us option in the Harvest Hall on main street Grapevine. Harvest hall is a great spot if you have folks that all want different things, or you want to all try a little bit of everything. We will need to give them another shot during a not as busy time, like when Main street has their holiday events. We hadn't intended on grabing food, but one of my kids wasn't having the stuff we had brought with, so we grabbed something from here. The Chicken sandwich is a stand out option, we for sure plan on getting that again next time we come to harvest hall so that more than just my kiddo can eat one. (I got to take a bit to try it.) Though we got it with a number of things removed and no spice due to it being for a kiddo. Though with all of the things removed it was still $13-$14 for the sandwich with no sides. I do wish more places would offer a chicken sandwich kids meal option, cause thats what my kids tend to go for as equally as they do nuggets/strips . Even with it being as stand out as it was, as most places charge that amount and it comes with at least chips or fries, but I'm sure they are combating high costs and higher rent being where they are located. The rest of us went ahead and tried some of the fried mushrooms and fried pickles because we were going ahead and ordering something. Both at $6 a pop were decent, and a good option if you have a group wanting to share various things, but not the best we've had. I would likely get the fried zucchini again because not as many places offer that.

I was very impressed with the fried shrooms and grilled cheese with mild chicken. Family agreed. Happy with my food hall choice!

Its seat yourself and despite that i was helped really quickly. They have alot of sauces and i opted for the Parmesan garlic Cajun one a great flavor with a subtle kick. I got the lunch special which came with fries as well as a beer. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly and the dusting of real Parmesan cheese was a great addition to the wings. The tater tots were crunchy and i have no complaints. They had TVs and March madness on so needless to say i was happy as a mouse with a block of cheese or whatever the saying is. While other servers seemed more focused on socializing with regulars than doing their jobs, Taylor stood out immediately. She stayed engaged, checked in at the right times, and made sure everything was handled without needing to be asked twice. That's not luck--that's professionalism. She brings a mix of intelligence and humor that makes the experience better without being forced or over the top. More importantly, she executes. Orders are right, timing is right, and the overall experience feels intentional--not neglected. If you're going to Rowdy Cowboy, don't leave it to chance. Ask for Taylor by name. She's an asset to that place, and based on what I saw, she's setting a standard others there aren't meeting

My Overall Rating - 3 1/2 Stars (5 Stars if you only care about service) Atmosphere - It's pretty electric. There is a large bar in the middle, tons of bar seating, and during my Thursday visit for lunch, it was packed. The vibes are good, and tons of TVs are showing sports. If you have an XY chromosome, this is your place. 1 Star. Service - Rowdy Cowboy is known for having great servers who are very friendly (and nice to look at). All tables were taken, so I sat at the bar. The bartenders were fast, efficient, and very friendly. They got my order wrong, but I don't care. Their friendliness made me not care. 1 Star. Food - Look, if you're here, you're not here for the food. I started with the Steak Frites. The steak was super tender but lacked seasoning. The shoestring fries were awesome and made the perfect pairing to the steak. I ordered the Brisket Sliders but ended up with Wagyu Sliders. I didn't mind because our bartenders were so friendly, but the sliders were just ok. Remember, this place is not known for the food. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Rowdy Cowboy knows exactly what it does well, and believe me it does it well. In fact, out of all the restaurants in this genre, Rowdy Cowboy has the friendliest staff. Yes, I will be back. 1 Star.

The only flaw with this place was some dirty tables despite the place being empty and I didn't really understand how the sugar system works for drinks. It's not explained other than percentages. I have no idea why I noticed it. No greeting when we entered, no checking in with us, no buh-bye when we left. I understand it is a fast casual place where you both order and pick up at the counter, but you'd think the owner of a brand new business would want to get feedback or make sure to get repeat business. It wasn't crowded and we could see the owner chatting with his employees. As far as the food goes, it was just meh. I had the garlic parmesan wings. I guess I expected something like other wing places that have a dry rub, but these wings came with a garlic parmesan sauce. The flavor was a little off putting but it was the texture that really did it for me. It wasn't quite grainy but it was headed on that direction, I guess from the parmesan. The boba in my milk tea tasted fresh and not chewy like they were from the day before, so there is that.

Super busy, inside the door was being held open since there was just people coming in and out. Had to get on a waitlist and that took an 45 to an hour to be seated. Once seated, the server wasn't anywhere to be found until 15 minutes after. I'm sure it was extremely backed up. But then the order didn't come after an hour. At that time, I didn't feel as hungry anymore so maybe I'll come back on a slower day. The food was decent but the sides were all pretty sodium loaded and the chicken was pretty greasy. The ambiance was and the hostesses were helpful. I would recommend to go on a slower day at least once if you haven't tried this place. Everything costs $60+, In my opinion the dishes are a bit overpriced. If you're watching out for your calories with this one then just forget it!
