I have loved Hooters wings for years. Something about their plain crispy wings that always bring me back. Well I have the Grapevine location a try and drive out of my way because I had a "hankering" for them. Even with the low ratings. I should have saved myself a trip. The ONLY redeeming quality was my waitress Shelby that was nice and attentive. I ordered the original mild wings and onion rings. The wings were sitting in a puddle of grease at the bottom of the plate. They were just mediocre. At least they were cooked completely. WHY does Hooters buy the absolute worst quality tasting onion rings when they are known for wings and beer. I've had better hospital cafeteria onion rings. This place continues to be hit or miss. Some visits the food and service are incredible (shout out to Belle from the Arlington store who helps out sometimes), and other times it sucks. Most recently I placed a pickup order for 16 boneless wings, extra crispy, - Garlic Parmesan and Spicy Garlic. I got home, and while there were 16 boneless wings (not extra crispy) the flavors were a random dry rub and mild. So I submitted a review to the email I received asking how the service was and requested a phone call. Instead, I got a form email saying my feedback was important, and that was it. So glad I wasted my money on a company who doesn't even value their customers enough to personally reach out to them and attempt to make things right. Maybe this is why the restaurant has such a low rating and is never busy while Plucker's next door is perpetually slammed. Does management just not care? read more

What the heck happened? I used to love Hooters but hadn't been there in years. When the hubs asked what we wanted to eat for the playoff games today, I suggested Hooters. The Wednesday prior to the games, I downloaded the app which was very easy to use and the first time I used it, they gave me a free appetizer up to $8.99 and let me use it on my initial order. 5 stars on the app. It was a great experience. So today is game day. I had my order set for 2:45pm but we decided we wanted to pick up at 1:30pm. I called the location and they had no problem changing my time to 1:30pm and I added another 10 wings to my order. Of course everything was cold by the time we got home. Not faulting them for that as I was planning to throw the wings in the air fryer anyway. Let's talk about the wings themselves. For every order of 10, there were only 3 drums and 7 flats. The BBQ wings were sauced correctly however the others were not. The traditional mediums had not even been tossed. It looked like they had been tossed in the to go container and then had a little sauce haphazardly sloshed in. The majority had no sauce at all. The naked hot wings weren't well sauced either. The naked hot wings were small and dry. The hubs showed me one and said, this look like a quail wing. The traditional medium wings were not the best quality and the 3 drums were so small it was ridiculous. The most disappointing part of the experience is we paid $53.57 for 30 poor quality wings, not well sauced, cold wings. NEVER AGAIN. For the Super Bowl, light up the grill Honey! If I could leave 0 stars I would. New cook was unable to properly cook my fish and chips. When it finally came out, my family was already done eating. Even then, my fish and chips looked like it had fallen on the floor and put back on the plate. Slow service even on Thanksgiving when place was just about dead. When I was new to the area, this was my goto spot for the football season as I don't watch much TV at home. Year ago this was a 4 star location. Fast forward 10 months and the start of the 2023 college football season. Wow, what a difference a year makes. Showing up at 2:30 I expected the place to be packed as UT was starting at that time. Pulled in and it was maybe 10% capacity. A warning sign right there. Well, the recent poor reviews and empty location at beginning of football season is justified. Cold & undercooked boneless wings when the restaurant was empty? When almost all you do is chicken, you're going to noticeably undercook it? You're bleeping kidding me. 1st beer was literally flat and I thought "maybe my taste buds have changed because there is no way a keg can get old here". Well, after this visit, it was an old keg.... and I'm glad I switched beers. Service? Server A, who was remarkably un-busy, had to be called to put in any food or drink order - by everyone. She wasn't active in service at all. Server B (shift change), who I remember from last year, was great. When I commented that this isn't the same location as a year ago.... she replied with the party line and gave good game face, but she knows it's not the same location. My husband and I went here for some wings. We got seated right away. It took a while but finally we had a server come over and ask for drinks and apps. We ordered tea and the soft pretzel. Almost 30 mins after we got there the server informed us that they did not have the stuff to make the app. My husband asked for something else and she put it in. She still has not taken our main dish orders. By the time she took the order the groups of 4 by us sat down and got there food already. When our food came it was bland. There was no seasoning that was supposed to be on the wings. The only nice thing I can say is that when I made a comment about the food the server said we do not have to pay for any of the meal. Husband and I went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. They were not busy at all. We ordered the 24 piece buffalo shrimp and both had wings. The shrimp came out with our food, which is a pet peeve of mine. I figure there is no point of an appetizer if it comes with the meal, but oh well. So, our main meals were fine. However, the shrimp, well, they were still FROZEN! Sent them back obviously. I normally don't send food back, but they weren't cheap nor edible. I didn't bother reading any of the prior reviews and not sure on the low star ratings. I went to meet friends to catch up on our lives since it has been several months the last time we hung out. I have been to Crossroads locations several times and have never had a bad experience. It has multiple screens for viewing sports. The hostesses were all terrific and great with to us. This experience was no different. I am pretty sure they do not know I am a Yelp elite reviewer lol I went to meet friends as stated and they were already seated and getting drink orders from Dani. Our hostess Dani took our orders and we went with our usual wings. It was nice to catch up with friends again. Huge shoutout to Dani with some unique add ons such as cheese dip for curly fries which honestly I never carried for them but the dip definitely changed my perception on their fries. Hooters needs to do something like that and name it The Dani cheesy curly fries and her idea so give her props. Dani suggested I try a green tea shot which again was fantastic! The customer service is fantastic because of Dani and will eat more often there. I try to eat out as much as possible to help our fellow businesses and this place I gladly support due to the food and great customer service. This place really stands out from excellent covid safety protocols and Dani really stood out on her customer service as a hostess. Kudos to her representing the Hooters brand very well. read more

This location is tucked behind some other restaurants. You will not be able to see this Hooters from the main road. It is behind Red Robin and Buffalo Wild Wings. Came here on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. The service was quick and my food came in a reasonable amount of time. Nothing special about this place. Nothing bad either. Went with friends that had never been to Hooters before. There were three of us in the party. We were greeted and seated quickly. The facility was neat and well maintained with numerous TVs showing all the football games of the day. I ordered the build-your-own burger with tater tots and a beer. One of my friends also ordered a burger, and the other ordered wings. They were served and were well into the middle of their meal before my burger showed up (minus the tots). The burger was warm at best when I bit into it. Given how long my friends had been eating before I received it, I imagine it had sat in the window for some time before making the trip to the table. I was halfway through my burger when the tots showed up. They were under cooked and more mushy that crispy. I ate half the burger and a few of the tots, but that was enough. The manager came out with our main food so I asked him for the cheese and croutons. He brought them right away but unfortunately they forgot my ranch dressing. Do NOT go here. With this post will be a picture of our waitress/server, Courtney. She did everything other than tell us she didn't give a shit about our table. The establishment was at about 30% capacity. She seemed to have two tables. And she spent the entire time at the other table. The only time she moved quickly was after dropping something off at our table and then hurrying her ass back to the first table. Where the gentleman had already finished his business and was just sitting there on his phone. Her first priority was definitely him, then playing on her phone, and it ends there. She did not check up on us. We would have to flag her down when she walked passed us if we needed something. At the end, we just walked over to the table where she sat with the gentleman, and asked for boxes and our check. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive. Everything was overly salted. And when we asked for our waters to be refilled, she asked which one, took one glass to the back and filled up the one. And never refilled another glass. She had minor knowledge of the menu or recommendation. She was just the absolute worst. Her alone makes me not want to support this establishment. And makes me want to make sure no one else goes here because no one deserves to be treated like that. read more

I forgot to order my wings naked (without the breading) because they tend to get too heavy for my personal taste. My worst experience ever at a Hooters. While the waitress was very attentive, the kitchen staff was a complete debacle. Not only did they mess up my order but after 30 minutes I never received the rest of it and finally just cancelled. And the wings we received were horrible. After we called to ask about the national margarita on the phone, we were told it's an all day event. We were the only table, I got here last from my group 10:15pm didn't get my drink till 10:58. My friends drinks were wrong the first round, No silverware till after our meals were brought out. Food wasn't well cooked after asked for it. Now I know why!!!!, we waited about 20 minutes for a waitress to serve us, she took our order, my husband asked for a big daddy and I asked for a small one, well he brought me a big daddy too, I said okay , less return, well, another 20 min passed and I return to take the order, we ordered the buffalo platter, fries and we asked for an additional ranch (little bottle about .5oz), and my husband asked for another beer, since it had passed about 25mins from the first, well, after another 25mins he brought the food, the shrimps were overcooked, the boneless were ok, but the wings were old and what follows, they were black inside, not a little, completely black, they were We let the waitress know and she just told us, ahh mm ok, and she left, we reminded her about the beer (the second one we had already ordered 25-30mins ago) and she said ohh yes I'm sorry the bartender is very busy, but now I bring them to him and he left... another 10 minutes passed and he didn't bring it, my husband got up and went and He asked the bartender directly and said: oh yes, right now I'll send it to your waitress, another 10 minutes passed and the waitress didn't even stop by our table, I spoke to her and my husband told him what was wrong, if he didn't did they like Hispanics or that, since he was always IGNORING us, he said it wasn't that and went for the beer, he came and brought a small glass, my husband told him that he had ordered a large one and said that his policy was: only one large beer per customer!!! Being that when we were next to the bar we realized the orders of the other people and obviously to the others if they served them what they asked for, my husband commented that it was a policy of all Hooters, because the ones we go to (Grand Prairie-Arlington) NEVER NEVER have we been told that, just one more time, he turned around and left... I'll be the first to admit, Hooters isn't what it used to be, but as a lover of Chicken Wings of all kinds, I still include it in my lunch rotation and the service at this location is always very fast and friendly. I really like the Lots-a-Tots, but it's the new year, and I'm trying to make healthier choices! I also like their buffalo sliders, but that's a lot of bread, so my last visit, I tried the Smoked Wings. They can be order with one of 3 seasonings, or dipped in your favorite sauce. I chose the Garlic Habenero. They are, of course, drier than a breaded and sauced wing, but at 1/2 the calories, it's not really a cheat, right? All-in-all, not a bad healthy-er option, so I'm sure you'll see me checking in again in the future. read more

Grapevine Hooters, to go order, arrived within 5 minutes of ordering and food was ready. Got home and of course it tasted like it was made prior, popped in the skillet to warm up. Called, spoke with Chris, supposedly a manager and supported that food can be made in 6 minutes. Arriving at the restaurant it was pretty full and can't imagine my order was first in line. We called the Hooters location and the manager said they were running low on wings so that's probably why we received only drumette, which would have been nice to know beforehand.
