We have been coming to Hooters Grapevine at least 25-30 times per year since it opened spending no less than $100 per visit. Over the years we have seen a steady decline in the numbers of people coming. The food is pretty consistently good but the service is equally consistently bad. My wife and I believe this poor service can be attributed to the current General Manager, Todd. He has zero social skills for a position that demands such skills as a foundational skill in tone setting for all the employees. He has never once come over and introduced himself, smiled or said hello to two of your better regular customers. Leaders must set the example to get others to follow. read more

We came to this place since everything was closed around the area. Not expecting a lot out of this place but at least the least we can expect is hot food. Well that wasn't the case. After waiting almost for 45 minutes plus on my food was sadly disappointed. My sandwich was cold and Instead of lettuce and tomatoes I got the hardest part of the lettuce. Fries were cold even tho I asked for them well done. Like I said before wasn't expecting much but I didn't even get the least amount to just say oh well I'll eat it. I send the food back and they asked me why. I told them the food was cold and the lettuce was the worst part of the lettuce. The Sad part about it was they think it was ok to send the food out like that to a paying customer. I wasn't the only one disappointed with my order since some of the food in the table came out wrong as well. The table next to me also had trouble with their order since the manager came out to talk to them. I will updated the review if the manager comes out to talk to me which I doubt that. We ordered the original wings, roasted wings, boneless wings, fries, and tater tots. Everything was dry and tasted like old oil. Even the cheese was brown and coagulated. Today was a charity event for Bikers, there was standing room only, and cigarette smoke was so thick you could not see five feet in front on you. We were in and out as quick as possible. We stopped but did not eat; we took pictures and continued on our way. The girls were very friendly and gladly posed for pictures. I like our pictures!! Back to the Batmobile, onward foolish boys! Came into this place to get a quick bite, but that was not happening. Waitress got my drink order wrong, and that was the best thing that happened. We ordered chips and queso and the chips came out greasy. Had to ask the waitress to take our order. Then she was a ghost. I haven't been to Hooter's for YEARS! We went today for...you guessed it!!! WANGS! They have added "in house" smoked wings to the menu, and THAT'S what works for ME! YUM. So, we had an order of "jerk" and an order of "habanera" smoked wings, and both were very good. We also had side salads and a couple of very cold Blue Moons. ALL were good. Just when we thought we were through, the waiterss offered us a sweet temptation: MINI desserts!!! OH, YES PLEASE! They had perfectly sized little cups of sweetness in 4 flavors to choose from, We had the apple spice something. It was a peferct finish to our meal. Service was good, atmosphere was good, and the place was clean. The only gripe I have is the dressing. I think home made dressing is a MUST if you want to "stand out". I usually find Hooters as a safe bet, but I couldn't even comprehend how inefficient and terrible the service was. I came in to not be greeted by a host, nor did I see one the entire night, and came in just to wait 10 minutes for a waitress to come and get my table water. I then had to wait another 20 minutes to order, and saw my waitress meander around aimlessly. I would've understood if it was a busy night, but the restaurant wasn't even at half capacity, and my table waited about an hour just for our food come out cold. There were several tables left without bussers to clean them and it was apparent that the restaurant was horribly understaffed. Walked to end of bar and sat down, manager came in to do something on register and bartender entered the bar(walking tight past my end). He finished up and walked out words the back, the bartender decided to do the dishes. While completing that she was questioned by a couple gentleman about a "ring" and she proceeded to address them with a new engagement ring and start a conversation..... Never once was I addressed while sitting through all of this. The only reason I'm giving this place a 5* this time because the food actually came out hot and the wings were a decent size and not tiny as usual. What stands out about this visit was the waitstaff that we got. She was actually very cheerful and always smiling which definitely makes the atmosphere better. with a group of 6 we ordered upon arrival and waited 45 minutes for drinks and over an hour for any food. everything came out at different times and took over 2 hours to receive all of the food. an order came out incorrect and when ordering 5 lemon drops they were very yellow and one had a fly floating in it. the staffs attitude was unprofessional during the entire meal. the manger has terrible communication skills and his body language was rude. we asked for the manager only after everything was completely wrong and before we could even tell him the issues, he cut us off saying he was trying to fix the issue but didn't even know why we were upset. he told us he'd comp the whole meal and we explained it wasn't about the money. the waitress never picked up our table of dirty plates and dishes even after we stacked them for her. all of the food was wrong or completely cold from sitting for so long, and our drinks kept being forgotten. he didn't apologize, just said he took care of it, and walked off after rolling his eyes. we still tipped the waitress because most of it wasn't her fault, but you won't get your food or drinks and management doesn't care. read more

The service was horrible, we constantly had to ask for drink refills after waiting a ridiculous amount of time to get noticed.
