Wow! Is how I'm compelled to start this review I don't usually gush when I write reviews but here comes some "gushin". I went to Fire the other night and I was immediately knocked over by the smell my mouth started to water smelling the smoker and I couldn't wait to see the menu. My husband & I had the brisket with slaw it was the best I've EVER had and I'm not even joking the meat was so tender and it was seasoned to perfection, the coleslaw had a great tang to it that paired perfectly with the meat. We sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and knew her stuff but what is going to make Fire to Table a success in my opinion is the owners they came to us and everyone else to introduce themselves ask if everything was good you got the feeling they were welcoming you into there home for a family meal and let's face it we don't see that much anymore. They have the best bbq we've had in a long time!!! We arrived during happy hour and chose the hog skins. Holy crud, it came on a platter that was heaped with them! Drizzled with bbq and white sauce. Totally embarrassed to say we almost ate the whole thing, after we both finished our meals!! Did I mention they're $5 during happy hour?! For our meals, my hubby had the ribs with chips and potato salad. Ribs were literally falling off the bone and perfectly flavored! Loved the chips, but found the potato salad a little on the bland side, for us. I had the burnt end sandwich. Holy !!! Cooked to absolute perfection!!!!! I had the baked beans and coleslaw with mine. We went on Wednesday night, 2 all you can eat ribs, a sausage and peppers, and a brisket, all were out standing ! We were greeted and seated timely. Our server was great, when we had questions, he explained everything. It was nice outside, so we enjoyed sitting on the deck for dinner. I highly recommended Fire to Table ! read more

We had reservations for 6 at 615....... Something happened and we sat at the bar. They were busy and it seemed our table may have been taken..... that's fine. To accommodate us they asked if we mind sitting outside. We said no but they were short chairs. So we sat at picnic tables and of course it began to rain soooooo the waiter speedy moved us to the bar where we ended up having a unforgettable evening with Speedy and Kelli( with a I) The food was excellent and the service was over the top!!! Great brunch on weekends in a nice indoor or amazing outdoor space. Service and food are outstanding. Dinner options are limited but all made to perfection. The brisket is a slow cooked phenomenal piece of meat. Salmon salad is also a great choice. Music outdoor stage with a bar and fire pits are pluses. read more

The food was excellent, everything was delicious. The ribs are done perfectly, beef tips are tender and just melt in your mouth, baked Brussels sprouts are a favorite appetizer. The service staff was friendly and answered any questions about any of the menu items. I would highly recommend eating here. First time visit on an a Sunday around noon'ish. Pulled up to the lower outside bar, noticed the reserved signs for a private party. Asked the blond bubbly bartender and she said "no problem, ur part of the party now". That's a welcome !!! Another great bartender came out, told us there were no bad choices and he was spot on ! We got the blackened fried Mississippi catfish sandwich the smoked pastrami sandwich. Started off with roasted oysters. Oysters were amazing, we could have eaten another 2-3 dozen. The blackened catfish was fantastic. Fresh, perfectly seasoned and delicious. The smoked pastrami sandwich was the BEST I've ever has. No sauce or mustard was needed. Kettle chips sealed the deal. So..... we were so excited to see all the great reviews and picked up some take out. This has to be the WORST bbq we have ever had . We ordered both the chicken and ribs both were so dried out it was like they served yesterdays meat to us and reheated it. The potato salad and Mac and cheese were tasteless. So very disappointing. Forst time visiting Fat Boys with my hubby and son. The food was delicious! we started with fried Brussels sprouts.. They were so good we could have had it for a meal. My so and husband.d had fire roasted oysters and said they were juicy and delicious. We each ordered a separate meal..me the ribs, my son the brisket and hubby the plank salmon. Everything came out together , hot and ready to eat. we shared and loved it all. Fall off the bone ribs, moist and flavorful brisket, and flaky tender salmon. Dessert time came and my husband and son ordered the deconstructed peanut butter and jelly sandwich. out came donut holes mounded like a tower filled with leant butter and jelly and drizzled with raspberry sauce and peanut butter..we will be back again many times and have told friends about our experience...bring your appetite when you go. read more

I arranged the Surfside Beach Club Ladies Luncheon at Fire To Table. There were 35 people this month and it was fantastic. Today, Service and food was excellent. I had the 1/2 chicken with mac and cheese, corn on the cob and cornbread. Chicken was moist with perfect flavor barbecue sauce. Creamy mac and cheese, corn and cornbread were yummy too. The owner Al was very friendly, attentive and much appreciative of our group. I will definitely be going back with my husband. read more

Terrific atmosphere and a genuine staff! They will work so hard to be sure they get it right every time! Food is delicious and fresh! The 1/2 bbq chicken is unbelievable- crispy skin but tender juicy chicken - my husband got the burnt ends and loved them! Owner Raymond has personally checked on us the three times we have eaten here. Tonight I watched him brings sticks and marshmallows out for a family there with 5 kiddos! Just moved to the area and trying various restaurants. I ordered Pastrami with Kettle chips, the Pastrami was served on a brioche bun was expecting Rye bread. The sandwich was not hot, half of the sandwich was cold and the other half was lukewarm. The kettle chips were horrible. For the price I expected more. The Pastrami was not that great. I would not go back. Everyone else agreed the food was not that great. read more

We decided to try something new and we were absolutely impressed. Everything was fresh and homemade- they surpassed all expectations! I had the Soaked and Smoked Pork Belly, cornbread, mac and cheese, and potato salad- all were to die for. I somehow made room for a single rib- phenomenal- and I'm not new to BBQ. This was our first visit to Fire to Table and I am happy to say that we WILL be back!!! We had a group of 6 and every single dish was excellent. From the appetizers through to the main courses. The ribs were done to perfection. The wings were great and the beef brisket is one of the best I have had. Our server Jean was right on top of everything and we were given great service. After dinner we went downstairs to hear some live music which just topped the evening off. I highly recommend you come give this place a try, if you haven't already. read more

Ribs and wings were great. Service was a little slow but we had a big group and they already had a full house so with that in mind I was actually pretty impressed. Live music on the deck was great. Started getting a little cool but it's February. Excellent!! Inside and out door seating also bars outside with music in the summer. I had the chicken and rib combo, Mac & cheese, horseradish coleslaw. The ribs were tender and delicious fall of the bones. Mac & cheese was soooo creamy, coleslaw was very good. My husband had the brisket sandwiches and homemade chips both were delicious. Also had the fried Brussels spouts with the special sauce. Drinks were good. Our waiter Jerry was awesome. It is hard to find good help. He is a keeper for sure!!! Kudos to the owners. I have to say I was disappointed. the service was not great. waiter was nice, but very slow. He was not well informed on the menu.. fish and chip was over battered and chips (only get 4) were oily and still hard , not cooked enough. brisket was very good. Brussels sprout also very good. Took a long time to get the bill and check out. The employees were under the build smoking pot . I meet JR on a plane ride from Ct and was looking forward to trying this place. Went tonight for their grand opening. First night with a full menu. I've been looking for a good BBQ here. I've tried this place and the one down the road. This BBQ blew away the other place. Made a take out order and paid over the phone with cc. Upon arrival to pick up food was told the charge didn't go through. Therefore needed to rerun cc, which was done. The card was charged twice. Called them to remove one of the charges, which they stated would be reimbursed....never happened. We had to dispute duplicate charge with our cc company.
