Really good tacos, especially for those who like cheese (me!). Food: 5/5. I had the Vampiro Birria Taco (5/5), Consome (4/5) and Mulita with Lamb (4/5). The Vampiro Birria Taco and Consome were lovely. The taco was generously piled with meat, and the crunch was satisfying. The taco's flavor relied very heavily on the melted cheese. The Consome was lighter and less oil and salt than those I've had in the past. The Mulita itself was similar in flavor to the Vampiro Taco but slightly soggy when served. Service/atmosphere: 5/5. Servers were still attentive and flexible with changing our orders. Fire Tacos was packed for the Sunday lunchtime rush. A small group of people were sitting at the bar to enjoy watching football and enjoying margs. I love the vibe here - decor is trendy, and there are with multiple spots for Instagram-worthy photos near the eclectic mix of mugs hanging on the wall or modern neon signs. I'm not from Seattle so the pricing and parking was off to me. $5 dollars for a taco might be reasonable for alki but i think it's expensive. The fire box was amazing because I got to try 3 different entrees for $25. I would go with that for the first time here. I saw Seattle foodie post their don julio slushy and it was AMAZING. Mine tasted great blended very well with my dinner. The entire restaurant staff was very attentive. 10/10 would recommend if you're in the area. Tacos are one of the best I've had in the Seattle area- birria goat, chicken and beef is what I had. SMACKS!!! Their guac and guac-based salsa are good, but you just have to add much more hot sauce to it. Their spicy oil is pretty good, but I had to slather a lot to make me feel the burn. Their consome smacks!! Daaaaamn perfection! The michelada was tasty and the best thing about it was it was not as salty as most micheladas I've had, but depending on your buds, that might be good or bad. I've been meaning to try this place since they opened on Alki. I work in the Admiral District, so it's the most convenient spot to get Quesabirria tacos. I stopped by during my lunch break to bring my lunch back to the office and I had been craving tacos. Around noon during mid-week on a pleasant dry day, there were a couple of tables in the restaurant. I walked in and the server asked me if I was eating in or taking to go. Since I was doing takeout, the server asked me to meet her up at the bar where they had the menus and she would take my order. I ordered two of their Cheesy Birria Tacos (There's really no other way to eat a birria taco) and an order of consommé. She asked me if I wanted onions and cilantro on both the tacos and consommé. The server quoted me about 15 minutes, but my order was ready in probably about six minutes. When the server handed me my to go bag, she informed me there are two kinds of salsa included in the bag, green and red. One of which, she said, was significantly spicier than the other--I can't remember which one, I used all of both of them. The tacos themselves weren't the best I've had. The meat was a bit saltier than I would've preferred, but there was a good amount in the tacos. The consommé was a bit thinner than I'm used to; I'm much more accustomed to it being more stew-like than brothy. The consommé also did not contain any meat like some of the others I've had. We came on Sunday at noon and not too many people were in the restaurant. The restaurant is at the perfect spot - right next to a bus stop, facing the beach (beautiful view), and easy to locate. We ordered a Vampiro taco, a shrimp taco, a chicken taco, a pork taco, and quesadillas. The Vampiro taco was delicious and filling, it's made with hard corn tortilla, topped with LOTS of melted cheese (yum), juicy beef, onion, and cilantro. It's like a mini volcano (see pictures). The shrimp taco is delicious, soft shell organic blue corn tortilla (smell so good!) with 4 big fried shrimps! I am not a big fan of their pork taco or chicken taco - the pork is a little dry and the chicken is very heavy in the sauce. Their quesadillas taste good but it is in a taco form - I was expecting it's folded. They did put a lot of meat and cheese in it though. The restaurant is huge and has various types of seating, bar seating, big tables (which can sit up to 8-10 people), and small tables. The interior is modern and cool: lots of neon signs, and the bathroom entry is like an exhibition you see in a museum. I encountered a couple of different servers during my visit, and all of them are super nice and friendly. Their menu is small and food option is pretty limited, and their drink menu is limited too. We came here for my daughters birthday. The place was cute on social media so we thought to give it a try. The waitress had no personality and pretty much gave little to no service. We didn't catch a name let alone get a check to go over the tab or to even read her name. We felt rushed to order and even with that our guacamole didn't come out until our food started to come out. They weren't busy and it took over 30 minutes for our food. My sons rice and beans came out yet the runner gave us no silverware. Our drinks were not refilled and my margarita was absolutely straight sugar, no flavor, no lime juice. Just alcohol and sugar. Very disappointing because the blended margarita looked good. Our food came out and I got the chivo fire box which was over all good. The salsas had no flavor or any bit of spice at all. The guacamole was saltier than anything I've ever tasted and the beans tasted burnt and salty. I finally got into the restroom only to be greeted with a urine covered floor. So now everyone is tracking the pee into the restaurant. Absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. Definitely won't be back. read more

After volunteering at Alki beach, I was treated to a street gourmet from Yelp and Fire taco. This was the best yelp elite event I have ever attended! The food is soooooo delicious! I love the Vampiro taco very much, it was a handmade corn tortilla, toasted on the comal until firm and then topped with melted cheese, meat, onion, and cilantro, their sauce is really appetizing and spicy! ! Also, another soup is also great! Consome is the liquid birria meat cooks in and becomes incredibly flavorful, the beef stock, softened dried chiles, adobo sauce, tomatoes, and garlic are pureed into a smooth, velvety soup. This place so far has been amazing - I have been here 3 times, and the food was excellent each time. I've tried the pollo tacos and I think I had the carnitas tacos last time I went. My son recently had the lamb burrito, and he absolutely loved it. The staff have always been friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the atmosphere is festive with bright colorful decorations and a fun ambiance... they even have an area set up to take photos inside. I had been craving a good Birria taco since I moved here from Cali, and have found them, at Fire Tacos, not only great Birria tacos, but a beautiful view of Alki beach to go with them. After a brisk fun walk on the beach, working up an appetite, anticipating the yummy cheesy, meat melting in your mouth goodness of a delicious Birria taco or two or three. lol As would be a good indicator of a good Mexican food restaurant, there was a short wait even at 2 on a Saturday afternoon, enjoying the slow cooked meat smells wafting throughout the restaurant. Noticing that they were short staffed and hustling, just added more anticipation. Erica was great at explaining the menu and drink options, and apologizing for the bit of a wait, which wasn't necessary, from watching the staff hustling. Starting off with a appetizer of the chips with bad azz sauce, and drinks of Horchata and Draft Estrella Jalisco and of course the Birria tacos, Two beef and one chivo(goat). The chips were plentiful and crispy, the bad azz sauce was .. well.. bad azz! A blended mix of tomatillos, avocado, seasonings, and a just right kick of peppers, maybe a little too much for some, but I loved it. The horchata drink was delicious, it was rimmed with marzipan candy, to add a yummy sweet nuttiness to already sweet drink. First time having Estrella on draft, a good crispy flavored Mexican brewed beer. The Birria tacos arrived quickly after the appetizer and drinks, smelling and looking tasty, I quickly grabbed one, dipping it the consome, all the yummy cheesy meaty taste accentuated with cilantro and red onion... Mmmm Yum!! It was just like being back in Concord enjoying OG tacos at Epidemic Ales.. yes! These were as good, giving me a much needed fix of Birria tacos. One difference that just added to the deliciousness is the consome, unlike most I've tried, it wasn't just a liquid broth, but a delicious beef stew, which after inhaling the tacos, was eaten as well. Happy and full, sipping on the horchata and enjoying the view across the Sound, relaxing in atmosphere of the restaurant, with a good vibe. Definitely see return visits. Saw them on TikTok and decided to give them a try. Wait was only 20 minutes or so because it was so busy. We walked in and immediately knew we wanted to eat there! The vibe was amazing! Once we sat down and started ordering the service was so fast, friendly and everything we wanted. The food came out quick and the drinks did too! The food was amazing! When they said their food had some spice we didn't believe them because we've gone to places that say the same thing and the spice is different. Well this time their spicy matched our expectations! I've seen this place getting shared around on social media and finally got the chance to check it out. We got there 30 mins before closing. On yelp it said around this time there'd be a 11-26 minute wait. Once we got there it wasn't too long until be got helped. We decided we'd take it to go. We parked down the street from the restaurant since it was just on the corner. We originally ordered 2 horchatas and a mango fresca, but since we came close to closing they were out of horchata. They offered substitutions such as the mango agua fresca and the cucumber water. We decided to get all 3 mango agua frescas. They later then told us they onl6 had enough for 2 and if we'd like to try the cucumber water. We ended up leaving with just the 2 mango frescas, but they were so nice and communicative. The wait for our food wasn't too long, they had enough seating for those who were waiting for tables or to-go like myself. The space was open and not too crowded. They had music playing in the background at a good level. You were able to speak with one another without yelling. This place is good for casual, spontaneous days with the friends and/or family. We ordered: 1 Firebox with Lamb (mulita, quesadilla, quesataco and taco) 1 Lamb Mulita 4 Beef Taco de Birria with Consome 2 Mango Agua Frescas For all of this it was about $80. While the price was up there, I'd say it was well worth it. I would come again earlier in the day to try their food and their other drink options. read more

The place itself has big windows and a bar area, and we enjoyed the music and the energy. Great for a few drinks and chips with friends. We LOVED the cocktails here. I got a Paloma and my 2 roommates got the agua fresca with vodka and tequila. They were all rimmed with tahin and salt. All the drinks tasted fresh and bright. Was very excited to try out this place. But unfortunately was such a terrible experience. We started off the the guac and chips which had absolutely no flavor. The guac was really needing some flavor. Salt...jalapeños... lime.. literally anything. 3 out of the 5 tacos we ordered were not available. We ended up switching up our whole order and got the shrimp, asada, and pollo tacos. Our service was absolutely terrible. Once we got our order we never saw our waitress again. We had to go to the bar to get drinks and had to eventually walk around the restaurant to find her to pay our bill and leave. Great location but will never return. read more
