There's lots of items to choose from on the menu. Seafood galore, and cooked perfectly! This is a very unassuming spot, with parking available in the street or in the lot where the food truck sits. Once inside, you have a beautifully setup restaurant, that's clean and modern. There's plenty of tables, so while it appears small, don't let that stop you from bringing in a large group. The staff were wonderful, so nice, and the nice touches like flowers at the tables, outside, and bringing napkins and water after seating is really nice. I asked for a extra scoop of sour cream becausee the one that came with the salad was very small. The cost for lunch $28.80.... RIDICULOUS, NOT WORTH IT and would never go back again. OVERPRICED, $4.00 for a ice tea and fountain lemonade, $3.00 for a small scoop of sour cream and then to charge 3.5% to use my debit card and was never told of the fee.....NOT RIGHT, be up front about additional cost. We went here today for a staff (post) Christmas/NY's lunch, and the food was delicious! I ordered the carne asada, the Huz ordered a chimichanga and burrito, and I ordered the queso fundito. Huz mentioned several times how the chimi's the best he's ever had, and that's saying a lot coming from him! My carne asada was tender and flavorful and the queso fundito (though a little messy to eat) was great! I didn't catch the name of the waiter, but he was also super friendly and we enjoyed his attentive service. The building, though small, was laid out nicely and they have several screens showing sports and news. Plus that it was super clean too! Love-Love Honor Mexicano. First, the food. Delicious. Generous portions... for me, two meals, easy. I always end up taking some home & eat for lunch the next day. Stopped here because it's close to my dads shop and we wanted a sit down restaurant to catch up. I grew up in this area, but I think I only went once as a child. The atmosphere is nice, restaurants is clean, and the staff is ver nice. Dinner items are $24, and lunch is $12-14; higher than I'd planned to pay, but I figured, with these prices, the food is going to be GOOD and authentic. Unfortunately, neither was true. We ordered lunch. I got a chicken taco salad, dad ordered a beef one, and my daughter ordered a chicken quesadilla. The presentation was great, but there was no flavor to be found anywhere. The chicken was bland, on top of a mound of lettuce, with sour cream, tomatoes, and store-bought shredded cheese. I tasted my dads meat to see if it was better, but the beef tasted like it was just cooked in tomato sauce. I eat a lot of really good Mexican food, so maybe I'm just picky. However, based on my meal, I don't think I'd eat here again, and wouldn't recommend if you're looking for tasty Mexican food. Quality is similar to Azteca. read more

I came for lunch on a weekday in a party of four. Three people ordered from the main/dinner menu and I ordered from the lunch menu. One person got the carne asada plate. It was very flavorful, but kind of chewy, not the melt-in-your-mouth tender of some other places. I got the taco salad. It came with a big pile of shredded iceberg lettuce, ground beef, cheese, and salsa. It was fine, but nothing remarkable. Personally I prefer my taco salads with beans as pinto beans might be a good sent to us directly from the gods. Another diner in my party got the chicken mole plate. The mole was fine, but lacked the depth and interest of different flavors melding together that I usually associate with moles. I know that a mole is unique to each establishment, and they aren't going to all be the same. All the same I expected something with more interest. Our bill came to $90 before tip, which seemed quite steep for a weekday lunch for a party of 4. It certainly isn't a lunch you could swing with coworkers. After driving past it for quite some time, I've always wanted to come here and check it out. Boy did it did not disappoint! Super flavorful meats, fresh veggies and great blend of flavors. I usually order shrimp or seafood chimichanga so I have many versions compare it with and when i took a bite of it, a big chuck of shrimp came with it, follow by a second and third! I swear they did not go cheap on you with the meat! I was very impressed and it was just amazing! The enchiladas was made perfectly as well. The drinks were strong and flavorful. Definitely splurge on the big ounce one. A great stand out for me as well is the bathroom! Very well kept and aesthetically pleasing. It's great to know that they keep everything clean. Here is the deal: 4 stars because food quality, taste and size was very good. In fact, my husband wants to give it 5 stars but I do not. Here is why- Food: like I said, food was amazing. The Oaxaca queso with the chorizo and tortillas could honestly be a whole ass meal. It was bomb. Very oily, watch your IBS. My carne surprised me a bit because I expected a whole flank steak but it was tender and the tomato sauce it came with was also great. Rice and beans were good as well. The damn tacos were the stars of the show, however. I was aghast at paying $24+ tax for THREE tacos but once they brought them, it was clear they're not just regular tacos. Not only are they big and the meat is piled high, but it's basically a smaller Oaxaca quesadilla that is made into a taco. 4 stars: the location where it's at is simply not great and if you look at their menu, they tell you where they want you to park, which in that particular area is shit because it's a super busy main intersection during the week. That said, the area is also meh and they're charging downtown Seattle prices. The service was very good, the restaurant itself was very nice, albeit hot and stuffy on a hot summer day which is NOT pleasant. Really delicious, authentic Mexican food: the mole was nuttier and less sweet than I am used to which was a pleasant surprise (because that's how it's supposed to taste), the fajitas more flavorful with smaller, more delicate strips of meat. Meals weren't drowning in jack cheese: also a nice departure from typical Tex-mex and really flavorful. Margs were some of the best I've had anywhere. Service was friendly and efficient. Mmmmm, Honor Mexicano has some good stuff. Let me highly recommend the Queso Fundido, which was gooey, cheesy, and SO flavorful with the chorizo, cilantro, and onions (and peppers?? who knows their secret). It might look pricy for an app, but it is very large and can easily be your meal if you want to go there (no judgment). My partner's chicken burrito was also the bomb. There was this almost chili/ragu like sauce that was so amazing on top of the burrito. The rice and beans were just ok but went well with the star, which was the burrito. The only reason this is not a 5 star is because my enchiladas weren't as good. Unlike the burrito, the sauce on the enchiladas seemed almost bland. The dish was screaming for hot sauce or something to give it a kick. I also tend to lean very salty/spicy, so this could just be my taste. The best part though? I have been wanting to visit this restaurant and finally had a chance last week on a Tuesday evening for dinner and drinks. I got there around 6pm and one couple was there by 7:30 two other couples had arrived. Started out with chips and salsa and they were delicious. I specifically wanted to try the Campechana and it did not disappoint, lots of shrimp and octopus. Shrimp was not over cooked. My friend order the Pollo Asado and she enjoyed it, the chicken was nicely seasoned. It's a little pricey but good serving sizes. Drinks were good and strong- I ordered the Paloma and my friend ordered the Vampiro. Staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean with a fun environment. The cumbias were the best part playing all the jams. Oh, and they have TVs in each corner playing sports. Great place and good food! read more

Not my first time here but finally got a chance to visit the restaurant again post pandemic. This is def an easy go-to joint for lunch. Ordered the chicken burrito ($10.99). It wasn't the best burrito I've had but kudos to the chicken meat for being plentiful, super tender and juicy. It came with a side of refried beans and rice. My only complaint was that everything was a bit on the saltier side for my preference. The meal came with complimentary chips and salsa (which was spot on). The staff is super nice and the entire place was clean (including the restrooms yay)! I would def come back. I had extremely high hopes for this place, and I'll just get to it, I was let down. This is mostly based on all the 5-star reviews. This place is not 5 stars in my opinion, all things considered, I would rate them closer to 3. This place hasn't even been open a year, but prices appear to have gone up 20% as the Carne Asada is $20 online, but was $24 when we arrived, I noticed all the prices were a minimum of 20%-30% higher. I'm sorry, but a website is an extension of your business, you should NEVER charge prices higher than you advertise. If you can raise price, you can pay your webmaster a couple bucks to update costs. Many reviews talked about the amazing chips and salsa. The chips were light and crisp; however, our chips were not warm. The salsa was okay, but far from special. I did ask for a spicier salsa and was brought a habanero sauce. It was tasty, but as advertised, a sauce, not a salsa, I was honestly hoping for something chili or jalapeño based, but more and more Mexican spots are afraid to bring the heat. The beans and rice were a flavor explosion, it made me believe the flavor of my steak was going to be special. The Carne Asada underwhelmed. It was a ¼ in generous cut. When considered, it could be close to twice the portion you would expect, but it also cost more as again, I normally pay $18-$20 for Carne Asada. With the cut being thicker, I think you need a stronger marinade to penetrate the steak, So it left the steak less than flavorful. Personally, I prefer the thin cut to the steak cut, but appreciate the alternative presentation. The last issue was that I expect an equal portion of rice and beans, I like one bite of each while I enjoy my meal. If the steak was 60% of my plate, then the remainder should be 20% rice/20% beans what I got was 30% beans, 10% rice. Even worse, the rice was the most flavorful item on my plate, so I truly felt cheated. Here are the other strikes. At one point, this neighborhood wasn't safe after dark. Things have not improved much, but if you are on a main street and lights are on, I'd feel okay, but I know a lot of people that would not come here. Because of this, rent is low here, so as one person called out in their review. Why are we paying downtown prices for this low-income area? Also, this is the former Jalisco's location and I dined here for decades enjoying complimentary parking in the lot behind the restaurant. Clearly new operators chose not to reserve parking for customers. So we had to walk a couple blocks in this sketchy neighborhood to get here. Service was good and friendly. Food was average at best and prices were predatory. Absolutely no reason to return here. read more

Pretty good location, a very busy street, it had lots of side parking with a lot of food trucks around. I was the first of my party to arrive, they immediately knew who I was when I gave them my name, table was already set up with water and menus, the host/waitresses were very attentive, very accommodating! They had tasty drinks, their salsa is definitely homemade, it was really good and their tortilla chips were fresh! I ordered steak fajitas, while I think it was a little too salty, I definitely would come back! My food was still good, I finished almost all of it - & I never do. Maybe I was just hangry! I've been wanting to try for awhile and finally stopped by. First off the complimentary chips and salsa are delicious. The chips warm and crisp with a perfect amount of salt. The salsa is housemate and amazing. They should bottle and sell it. The tacos were really good. There was a unique seasoning in the beef I can't place, but it was very tasty. The guacamole was fresh and delicious. I had a couple margaritas as well, La Patrona Margarita and the Bartenders Margarita. Both were very good and well balanced. My only complaint, very minor, is that they don't have a lunch fajita option. I will absolutely be coming back.
