We went here on a Tuesday night to grab a pizza and a few beers with some friends. The atmosphere in this place was so chill. The pizza was phenomenal. We got the baha shrimp pizza which was the special of the week. It was wood fired thin crust pizza and it was delicious. The toppings were unique and it was a very creative collaboration. It's nice to have a brewery right next door, we ordered our pizzas and had our food brought over to the brewery. We were told Fire and Brimstone had great fire oven pizzas. I checked the reviews and we decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly, the pie was brought out in a timely manner. We were able to create the pie of our choice making it 1/2 and 1/2 so both my husband and myself could have exactly what we wanted. It was an excellent pizza. It's a small venue and if you want beer with your pizza, you will have to enjoy your beer and pizza across the isle at the cute beer joint. We liked this place so much, we came back on a Wednesday night and it was packed. Wish they had more space available for dinning. You will not be disappointed. read more

Fire & Brimstone, 12 West and Barn One are about a block from our house. We love the quality, service and atmosphere. Fire and Brimstone has a wonderful menu, but their latest special pizza blew our mind. Normally our guys split a buffalo chicken pizza and let it melt their faces off with heat and flavor. I have the caprese sandwich or the hummus plate. But on my fiance's birthday we noticed the mexican street corn pizza: cotija cheese, mozz, smoked sweet corn, spicy mayo. In unison, we both questioned the level of deliciousness achievable with hot spicy mayo but decided to go for it. I kid you not, the pizza was the best we have ever had, and we eat pizza around the country like we know what we are talking about. The flavor profile was incredible. Sweet, smoky, with a hint of spice from the mayo, which was drizzled across the pizza so you got a little in each bite, but was not used as a base to be overpowering. The cotija was also spread all over so you got a little bit in each bite. We are great sharers but I dare say we almost didn't share that pizza well. Go, find out when they are serving this pizza, demand it be added to the regular menu. You won't regret it. read more

I just had a couple of questions for the establishment. Such as how busy are you? so I could decide to go in or not. How big those pizza's are for around $15? Questions that help manage expectations before going in. I called to ask my questions and am only greeted by a recording to visit their website or email them, no option to talk to anyone, and a full mailbox. Seriously!? Every possible question anyone has about your establishment is on your website? I should just blindly give five stars because you Gus must have enough established customer that you don't need to be bothered to answer questions. Pick up a phone! How can there be so many raving reviews for pizza that is so bad? Even bad pizza is usually edible, but we ended straight up just trashing one of the pizzas. I don't see the name of it on the menu so it might have been one of the weekly specials, but it had some type of sausage (fennel if I remember correctly?) on it that was just nasty. My boyfriend and I ordered together, but my pizza somehow came out 20 minutes after his, despite the fact that I ordered a regular pepperoni pizza. We ended up eating my pepperoni pizza, which had a super dense flavorless crust covered with cheese that was kind of plasticy? We could see an employee rolling out the pizza dough with a rolling pin. They probably pushed out all the little air bubbles in the dough because it was soooo dense and overly-chewy. Maybe add some salt for flavor and sugar for browning to the dough, age it, hand toss it, switch to quality cheese and ingredients,... actually, I'd just scrap it all and start over. read more

I'm embarrassed that it took me so long to check out Fire and Brimstone at Barnone, since I live just a few minutes away, but this place is incredible. My friend Daryl and I stopped by for lunch and were definitely not disappointed. We split two pizzas - their signature pizza with spicy tomato sauce, FRESH mozzarella, jalapeños and spicy sausage; and the pizza of the day, which was a french onion soup inspired pie. The pizza dough was perfectly stretched and cooked to an even crisp. And the face that they have an awesome local brewery across the hall is a stroke of genius. I have seen this place show up on random sites but when I seen the potato pizza I was hooked on having to come here. Today was the day I got my husband to agree!! We did an online order for the carnivore pizza and I got the potato pizza with no bacon ( I'm a vegetarian). It was amazing we ate half and came home from happy hour and ate the rest. I wanted to point out two big problems with this restaurant because they do have mostly great reviews. They say they do not do take out orders. The first time I came here in person, there was no where to sit. Then they told me they were out of Pizza and you could not do to go orders, so I left with hungry kids. Now they are on grub hub. Grub hub misspelled "Mezze" to " Mozzarella" but the description was of the "Mezze"(Hummus+pita...) Grub hub delivered the wrong item, a caprese salad. But neither I nor grub hub could contact them as their voice mail is full. So if you decide to use grub hub, they can not fix your order. You can not contact them! Even emailed. Food that was delivered was very good, but if you don't get what you ordered....too bad! read more

I am not a fan of giving only one star but, this is an unfortunate occasion. Came in on a Friday night, it wasn't super busy. Definitely plenty of seating. I must mention that it is really difficult to find this space. There's a sign on the outside that isn't easily visible from the street so we drove past it twice. Even once inside the building it's housed, the signage is lacking in visibility. So we get to the front looking as about as confused as someone can look and I had to seek someone out for some assistance on ordering procedures. There was only myself and someone else so we ordered and sat down outside because it was nice that night. With the restaurant/spot (I have no idea what exactly this place is trying to be) about half full, it took 45 minutes to get out two pizzas. 45 minutes. For two, on the menu not custom, pizzas. When the pizzas arrived half of mine was burned to a blackened crisp. I don't just mean there was black spots on the crust of the pizza, it was fully burned and smoking. Also, when I ordered, I requested that jalapenos not be on the pizza and the guy behind the counter said "You got it dude" so I know I was heard. But when the pizza came, jalapenos were on every slice. The combination of the difficulty to find this place, the lack of service and the absolutely abysmal food made this one difficult to not be negative about. I'm not sure if this was an anomaly or what on earth happened but I can promise you there is no chance I will be back. read more

My hubby and I decided to check out 12 West Brewing and while here, opted to try Fire and Brimstone next door. I was asking the guy (James) about the lamb options for the hummus as I used to live in Turkey and love me some spicy ground lamb! I told him about the little pizzas in Turkey called 'lamacun' and he was like, "hey, want me to try and replicate it?" Hell to the yeah! I am now a huge fan of this place! One, when does this happen?? Never in my life has someone opted to veer from the menu and be creative just for the fun of it. Two, it was quality food and super flavorful. It's kinda tricky to find because it's inside of a shared space with other equally awesome businesses. Most notably a brewery along the opposite wall. Very small restaurant. Pizza was horrible, nowhere near the pictures that are on there website. It was a 11inch oval with 9 inch of toppings, and 1/2 burnt. The whole barn has waitresses but we couldn't figure out why. 20 min just to pick up a online order that was ready and not 1 waitress offered to help. You can sit inside at the restaurant, next-door at the sports bar or outside where they had live music playing when we went.
