Perfect breakfast spot! Great food, wonderful staff, and amazing prices. On a Friday morning we had to wait a little bit to get booth seating. There were several seats available at the counter though. During our whole meal there was a wait for a booth, so if you come in the morning prepare to wait! There is plenty of parking in the parking lot out front and additional parking out back as well. There is no outdoor seating. Menu has a lot of variety of savory and sweet options. I got two Oreo pancakes. The pancakes were very large and I could've gotten away with just ordering one pancake. My friend got a combination special with French toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Their homemade donuts are also delicious. While the restaurant was very busy, the staff was excellent. They were great at checking if we needed anything throughout the meal and service was great! The food was good (especially the pancakes). The waitstaff seemed very rushed and somewhat short but you could tell the regulars were well attended to. We were disappointed that donuts aren't available on a Monday, but we understand completely. We were happy to find room for our truck and trailer in the rear. They have a good sized menu for breakfast consisting of some specialty omelettes waffles pancakes and your usual breakfast fare but then there's everything else and when I say everything else I mean it! Of the many concoctions I went with the Gut Buster as I just wanted one cause after a long night of driving your just hungry and let me say this hit the spot as it was delicious and filled with a on of bacon sausage and a huge amount of eggs sandwiched between two pieces of delicious sourdough! That sandwich was massive and delicious in it's own way so if your not seriously hungry then don't get it! Since it's a popular spot, if you visit during the weekends, the wait will be long and there will be no parking spot and it's the only reason i minus one star from my review. However, the food here totally deserve 5stars!The portion is huge but the food taste fresh, homemade, and genuine. Unlike other diners' food, which could be a bit plain, Filling Station's dishes are well-seasoned and everything just tastes delicious. When i was visiting here, the place was packed but the wait for food was not long at all. All the dishes came out hot, freshly-made, and drool-worthy. My dining partner had the Southern omelette, substituting sausage for the chicken. I had a flat one, my friend chose fluffy. Both delicious, arrived hot. Came with buttered toast, although the cheese was absent in the Southern omelette. A lot of locals ate at the same time. Others got served far before us. It took us almost an hour for food to arrive. No explanation for our long wait beyond everyone else. Floor was full of food scraps. Need to clean tables and floors quickly between customers. Prices and food were terrific. So we got just a Cal. burger/ chips and 2 little slices of pickle . The chips looked like the bottom of the bag ! ! The waitress never asked us if we wanted Mayo and never of us like it and it was full of it ! My Bill was over $22 and add the tax and a tip for 2 over cooked burgers and some broken chips - what a shame ! I loved going to this restaurant but they want almost as much as a fine restaurant . Hungover after a cancelled BSB concert, I could barely stomach anything. I got a coffee to be polite. But Keshia and Jinz tore up their food up. Jinz said "I wish you had tried my omelette, the best I've ever had!" after she took the last bite. They both also ordered pancakes - banana nut and snickers. Besides the food, service was excellent. Quick and prompt. No need to wait to be seated, we grabbed the first table we saw. Us girls love to chat and most diners would make it obvious that we need to leave when the bill is paid so they can have more tables to seat the next guests. The sourdough toast is thick and full of flavor. I've heard so much about their baked goods I has to bring home a doughnut.
