Had breakfast at Whisk yesterday. While it was actually my second time there, this is my first review. This is such a great place and is located at the entrance to the Masonic homes. Ample parking and a good menu selection. Food is always good and fresh. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The outdoor dining space is lovely and the dessert selection is incredible! A fabulous meal to start the day! There is outdoor seating and plenty of indoor. The temperature was a bit cold inside, wear a sweatshirt! The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. I has the pulled pork hash which was just perfect. Over easy eggs on a bed of pulled pork and home fries covered with a Carolina gold bbq sauce. The sauce is not thick and more of a mustard flavor which pared well with everything. Also had some picked onions and sour cream along with sourdough toast. A great way to start the day! read more

We eat here for breakfast. My sisters really like this place. It is good if you are looking for an easy breakfast. The worst part of eating here is 1) the parking. It is tight and shares a parking lot with a hotel. 2) the bathrooms. The bathrooms are small, hot and wet inside. Me and my gf love going to whisk for breakfast, they have good dairy and gluten free options. But today we tried to place an order for carry out and we're on hold for almost 45 minutes! We finally went into the restaurant to place our order just to find out that they weren't even busy! Not only that my gf got a simple BYO breakfast sandwich on a bagel and they gave her an everything bagel without asking her what kind she would like. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but she has Chron's disease and is unable to eat the seeds on the bagel. For such a good breakfast spot, I'm really disappointed in Whisk today. read more

We are in town for a wedding and when I searched for breakfast, Whisk came up first so we decided to give it a try. This place absolutely exceeded our expectations! Beautiful inside with great outdoor seating. As we waited for our table to be ready we ordered drinks - coffee and matcha was absolutely delicious. Our server, Jennifer, was so beyond sweet and even with all of our substitutions with food she was so patient. Each of our dishes came out perfect and filled with flavor. Hollandaise Sauce was made with too much lemon and butter, leaving it thin and without substance. The egg white was very thin but well poached over all. Home fries were hard and undercooked. Pancake was sweet but dry. Very tumultuous atmosphere, the large brick space accentuated the volume inside. The hot chocolate was the best thing of this visit, which was merely on par. read more

My favorite place for breakfast! Menu covers all the breakfast/brunch essentials with a few lunch selections too. Be prepared to wait a bit for a table on the weekends though as they fill up fast. They have limited seating in the winter/cold weather but once it warms up they have an additional 10 or so tables on the patio. I usually have the popeye omlette with spinach, tomatoes and sour cream drizzle with fruit and toast. The benedicts and hash bowls are also winners and huge portions. Their home fries could easily make 2 meals in themselves and I always leave with a take out box. They have basic coffee available along with some lattes, hot chocolates and now select alcoholic beverages such as mimosas. Haven't had those myself but I adore their coffee and always get a cup to go when we're done. read more

Just an update. Under new ownership since the last time I was there. Still great, but some favorites of mine are no longer on the menu. Red Rooster coffee, which I simply loved, is no longer available. I realize it may a bit too robust for some, but it would definitely wake you up! Instead they now serve Gerhart coffee which is local. I'm all for patronizing local business, but Gerhart coffee has a sour taste that is just not a good taste for coffee. No longer have senior citizen discount on Wednesdays. Other than that it's still wonderful! read more

We were visiting the area on a Sunday and wanted to grab some brunch. This place was packed! They had indoor and outdoor seating which was very well decorated. There was a waiting list but it was pretty quick for us since it was just the two of us. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I had ordered the breakfast burrito and we got a kid's meal with pancake and bacon. I absolutely loved my burrito! It had everything I needed from salsa to potatoes. I wasn't a fan of the fruit cup as the fruits were mushy and not good. My son wasn't too thrilled about the chocolate pancake although it had a generous amount of chocolate which made it too sweet. He did love the bacon and orange juice though! We had a fantastic time during our visit and will definitely be returning when we're around the area. Recently went to Whisk when visiting our family in Mt. Joy and we were looking for a place for breakfast. The reviews were good so I had to try it. Location: the restaurant is super cute! It has a rustic farmhouse look to it. It's so bright and very inviting. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Location can be busy but they move quickly. Food: the food was fresh and yummy. They have a smaller menu post-COVID. All of our food was good (see pics). Service was ok. Our server was not the friendliest and did not check in on us. We watched other servers who were social with their tables and would check back with them but ours did not. We figured that Maybe they were having a bad day or very busy. Regardless of our service, we'd still come back because the food was very good. read more

Finally visited Whisk and was charmed by the beautiful building, especially the outdoor patio. Busy Saturday morning but wait time was only 20 min for an indoor table. Inside noise level is significant at indoor tables but our table near the back hall/bathroom helped with that. Our server was super attentive and kept the VERY strong coffee coming. 10/10 service! Good quality was ok. Not quite up to the prices. I plan to return for a friends birthday lunch and snag a prime spot on that lovely patio! read more
