This was my first time here and I loved it! They don't have desserts right now though so don't let those menus outside fool you. My drink was very creamy and smooth which I appreciated. I got the mango au lait and my husband got the dirty coffee latte. Both of which were refreshing. My friend said that you can reuse the cups to bring back and refill and get a few cents off the next one, will have to try and verify that next time. They also have an app which you can earn points on that is cool! read more

Drinks: You have to try their selection of foam with your drink, it'll add an extra touch to the drink. You can also request the sweetness level, I got less sweet because I don't really like it too sweet. Their cup are very interesting too, one spot for a straw and one to sip the foam on. Friendly service, but incredibly watered-down, bland tea. It tasted as if half a cup of ice had been melted into the tea before serving. I'm genuinely puzzled by the high ratings. I'm close by so often - and they make it SO easy to get a COVID safe tea! Call them when you arrive, and they put your tea outside on a small table by the entrance. It's SO easy to place an order online beforehand. DEFINITELY try the foams - taro is my favorite! It adds a little dimension of flavor if you're boring (can we say purist?) like me and usually get black milk tea 90% of the time. I enjoy a few of their other options - like lychee jellies and basil seeds - but there aren't a ton like other places. Ultimately what you're getting here is just great tea, quick service, and a reasonable price. What else could you want? read more

Feng Cha is THE BEST boba drinks in Austin or anywhere. They now have this kiosk for ordering so it's really easy to walk in and punch your order and out comes your drink! The dirty boba is good but I like the burned crispy top so if you're like me then the equivalent drink and my preference is the Creme Brulee Dirty Boba. They also have the mini cakes, all good! 5/5 for the dirty boba! Sweet, good size, and the cups are reusable. I've also ordered the ginger milk tea before and it was pretty watered down. I have yet to try the desserts here, but they offer small boba cakes which I'd like to try. The ambiance at Feng Cha and tables/outlets make it a good study spot/place to catch up with friends. The interior is minimal and cozy. I don't frequent here often because I prefer other boba spots, but if you do go, I'd recommend the dirty boba. read more

This is the new establishment that took over the old Tea Haus. The inside layout looks similar, but I like the updates. It looks more comfortable and welcoming upon initial entry. However, there's a weird smell! I would like to see this changed. The menu is simple with slightly upscale feel. Be prepared to pay $5-6 for a cup of boba. It's expensive on the spectrum. Plenty of study space and outlets during non peak hours. Restroom is clean. The boba is good, but not worth the price. Tea is above average. They give you ample amounts of boba and love the cups because you can choose whether you want to use the straw. This will be hands down one of my favorite boba places. read more

Girl at the counter was soooo sweet ugh i loved her but unfortunately the drinks just weren't that great. Reasonably priced!! Dirty boba was insanely insanely sweet even for someone with a sweet tooth it tasted like melted ice cream with a ton of caramel. Actual boba was the perfect consistency but the drink was just too sweet, I know that you can modify the sweetness but there's just no reason a drink should have that much sugar. Purple reign just tasted weird. It tasted like crushed ice slightly flavored with grape juice. It was veryyy slight and then a layer of greek yogurt on the bottom. Idk it just didn't sit well for me. Wish they just had drinks like strawberry banana, the basic stuff like that. They only really have juices, milk teas, or yogurt smoothies. read more

First time I stopped here was a while back when this was the Tea Haus-- it had been my only time until I came back for what Feng Cha now offers. Photos of their fruit teas had popped up on my yelp recommendations so I had to try because they looked so inviting. The seasonal/summer drinks were not available which was a bummer less the melon green tea option. It was good, not overly sweet and the cups are reusable plastic. The latter brought me back since they give a 5% discount for reusing then along with having gotten a better look at the menu. Returning I had a better idea for what I was in the mood to drink. A big matcha latte iced. Cheese foam in the name will throw you off but think of it as a cheesecake topping. Some tart to enhance the sweetness of your drink which was not otherwise overwhelming. Sustainability here is also a plus since their straws are paper. Sadly, it fell apart once I made it to the best part which was the boba and foam. Better to bring my own metal boba straw in the future-- especially since their lids are suitable for them. Will come back to try the Oreo cheese drink and the tiramisu foam. read more

Really love this place! We go once a week to support them during this difficult time. They have all of the expected safety procedures in place - plexiglass barrier, hand sanitizer, no contact pickup... Choices are limited to what they have fresh on-hand, which I love. The cups are reusable, although you won't want to bring them back until after the threat of COVID has passed. Drinks are so delicious! I've had the summer melon special and the kiwi basil green tea, both with boba and lychee jelly. The hubby orders taro milk tea with boba and lychee jelly. Love this place for boba when I'm in town. I often get the peach oolong 75% sweet and it's so good especially if you enjoy oolong. As for the Jasmine apple green tea, it's okay. I like the jasmine tea but not really the apple. They have good amount selection of drinks, going to try the dirty cafe latte next time. read more

I was hoping this place would be good, but unfortunately they may be the worst boba tea shop in Austin. The green tea with sea salt milk foam was undrinkable. The milk foam tasted like cake frosting and wasn't savory/salty at all. We thought they accidentally gave us the wrong foam, but the manager told us the sea salt milk foam isn't supposed to be salty at all despite the name. ‍ The green tea itself also tasted weird. It was incredibly watery like other reviewers mentioned and wasn't fragrant like you'd expect a jasmine tea to be. Sadly, we ended up pouring the drink down the drain after getting home. The citrus lord was decent. It's a nice refreshing drink for a hot summer day. I recommend getting it at 100% sweetness. I chose 50% bc the staff told me it's really sweet, but you'll need the extra sweetness to balance out the citrus juice taste. At least the staff was nice. We went at dinner time on a Saturday and we the drinks came out quickly. The staff also kindly remade the green tea milk foam when we initially thought we were given the wrong topping so kudos to their customer service. Unfortunately the quality of the drinks are just bad; otherwise I'd love to come back! read more

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and couldn't be happier. Ordered 2 black milk teas with boba, sea salt cake, and basil fried chicken. The drinks were excellent quality and tasted superb. Sea salt cake was the only one with a boba topping and was very moist, spongy. We really enjoyed the cake. Basil fried chicken was moist and crispy. All around we liked everything and will be going back. Customer service is top notch! The kitchen didn't hear we ordered basil chicken, so we waited a bit extra. For the mistake, the owner/manager gave us an additional taro chocolate cake dessert. The cake was excellent quality and super delicious based on my fiancée. I am not a Taro person, but this goes to shows they truly care about their customers. read more

So many unique boba options!! I tried a grapefruit tea with lychee jelly and my friends got a creme brûlée dirty boba (which was super extra since the people working there brought out a legit food torch on the drink!). The grapefruit tea was super refreshing and gave me my fix of fresh fruit. I tried the creme brûlée dirty boba and it was excellent; my friends said they were addicted to it and would 10/10 recommend the choice. The BEST bubble tea in Austin. I recently moved from NYC, and I've struggled to find solid bubble tea and bagels. Still on the journey to find a good bagel but WOW this bubble tea is amazing. My go-to was always Rose Milk Tea, and even though it's not on the menu, they were able to make me a version that was delicious. The milk didn't taste powdery and it was perfect at 50% sugar level. Floral, creamy, and not overly sweet. So happy with this experience and I know I will be back often! read more

Feng Cha just doesn't do it for me. I've tried several milk teas from them and they're all too overly milky for me. Even the Oolong is drowned out by it and it's a bolder flavor compared to green or jasmine. They do get props for their bubbles, which is the best consistency I've seen in a long time. read more

A lot of the time, I find brown sugar boba too sweet and unbalanced, but their crème brûlée dirty boba is so good! I can't drink caffeine so it's another huge plus that it's caffeine-free (and I love that they mark which drinks are/cane be made caffeine-free)! I also really love their mango milk (mango au lait) or their mango breeze (which is currently my favorite) if I'm feeling like a more fruity drink! read more

The menu is compact but thoughtful, centered around Japanese comfort food with an eye for detail and utterly immaculate presentations. The sautéed tofu set truly an ideal, complete meal. With such a variety of dishes comprised of equally diverse flavors, colors, and textures, it puts the average bento box to shame. You get a steaming bowl of miso soup, pickled veggies, furikake-topped rice, and even a soft pine nut cookie to compliment the star of the show, which is a perfectly portioned serving of tofu and vegetable stir fry. I could happily eat this every day and. The yaki udon is a great standalone entree with tons of staying power thanks to those thick, chewy noodles. Plenty of tender-crisp vegetables and crispy tofu balance things out with all the protein and fiber you need to make it from lunch to dinner without any struggle. There are tons of lovely little bites, too. Onigiri are possibly their signature snack, and for good reason. Both the pickled vegetable and avocado varieties were beautifully formed and deceptively simple, letting the quality of each ingredient shine. Simple as some dishes may seem, they're made thoughtfully, and exceptionally well.

If I lived more north I think I would make this a regular spot; parking is a little limited but it wasn't super busy when I stopped by on a Saturday a bit before 6. The staff was friendly and I really liked the vibe/decor inside, and that you can get food, ice cream, coffee, or a beer! Whatever you are in the mood for! We wanted some finger food so we got a variety of onigiri, some potstickers, chicken karaage, and spicy edamame. There was a short wait past the time quoted but it wasn't long, the staff was very communicative about it, and the food was fresh and hot when I received it. I'd rather have hot food a little late than lukewarm food any day! When we got to karaoke and dug in everything was still hot and delicious. I think my favorite were the potstickers but those are just one of my favorite things anyways lol, the onigiri was great, chicken was juicy, and the edamame just a little bit spicy. This was a great choice for a fun night and I can't wait to try more off the menu!

Dog Day is located on Burnet Road. When I walked into Dog Day I was fascinated by what was going on inside. There are dog pictures on the walls for sell. These cute little doggie pictures are for sale with the scan of their respective QR code. They also have nitro coffee. If you're unfamiliar with nitro coffee, you're not alone. Here's the scoop...Nitro coffee begins as cold brew and is then infused with nitrogen gas, which creates tiny little bubbles that give it a creamy, velvety texture. It has the foaminess of beer. Important to note, it has no alcohol. They have an assortment of food- pastries, tacos and sandwiches. The coffee shop is large with seating space on both sides of the coffee shop. There is also outside seating. I ordered the matcha latte and a migas taco with potato and avocado. The matcha latte was initially too matcha-y. I added a lavender flavoring and it was perfect. The migas taco was especially tasty. Mark, the barista, was very friendly and accommodating. He said that Dog Day had been open for 1.5 years and the name was based on a love for dogs...surprise, surprise. Smile.

It's off putting to be greeted with a scowl and the barista glaring constantly as they take my order. Everyone has bad days at work but I hate playing barista roulette when I come here. Otherwise, such a cute vibe to hangout and chat with friends!

I tried Feng Cha boba milk teahouse special fruit tea in Dallas for my last visit and was so impressed with how fresh they are, and finally Feng Cha boba milk Teahouse opened up 2 locations in Houston. You can imagine how excited I was there is a new teahouse near me. I tried several of their fruit tea drinks, and the passion fruit was my favorite along with the dragon fruit tea. And not long ago, I added Feng Cha boba milk teahouse new topping, cheese milk foam to citrus tea, OMG, that was amazing, felt like eating dessert and drinking tea the same time. It's not a huge store, so it felt warm and cozy, perfect for a work meeting. Feng Cha Teahouse is also very clean and all staff wear gloves and masks. On my last visit, I also ordered one of their specialty: the dirty boba. Let me tell you, it is definitely "dirty". The dirty boba milk tea is so rich and cheesy just the way how I like it. Of course you can adjust the sugar level and your foam level, I find that very accommodating, but I stay with their standard. Overall, Feng Cha boba teahouse is definitely one of my go to place for boba milk tea. Highly recommended. read more

We go to Feng Cha every time we are in the area. Our favorite drinks are the Dirty Boba and Milk Tea and it's made exactly the way we like it. We also love their special Basil Chicken appetizer, it always comes out fresh and hot. The desserts are light and fluffy, just the way you could find in the Asian bakeries. The decor is very modern and has a chill atmosphere. Great for groups to meet up or just individuals who want to relax with a nice cold tea. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try, you won't regret it! Great location, with plenty of parking. It's near the Northcross Mall, so parking is available. read more

Both the boba and tea were painfully mediocre. I had ordered a black milk tea with boba, 50% sweet (as I was told the drink tended to lean towards the sweeter side) that first sip absolutely shocked me, like water and milk, there was absolutely no taste of tea. I'm not saying the milk tea should taste of those in Taiwan, but at least brew with a stronger tea in contrast to a cheaper one. It is in no way "authentic" and even if the store did not aim to be, it's just horrible. Perhaps this place aims to cater towards a more american palate, but i'm greatly disappointed. read more
