Horrible service! Couldn't be any worse. I have TWO shipments sitting at the Oceanside facility. 1. First delivery was Friday, 7/31/26. Initially when I checked my tracking number, it was on track to be delivered 7/31. I checked again later and it said, "future delivery date requested." 2. Second delivery was Tuesday, 8/4/26. Same as above. When I first checked, it was set to be delivered on time. Checked later and AGAIN it said, "future delivery date requested." I made no requests for delivery changes, haven't set an out of town schedule, or made any other changes. Trying to contact them, and get through their annoying AI "customer" service is beyond tiring. When I finally reached a real person, he couldn't say who initiated the delivery change. All he could tell me is that when my order is updated, it will show the new arrival date. He gave me a case number, which I confirmed. Today I tried it. No surprise. The system did not recognize the number I put in. Most of the drivers who come to our home are great so this isn't about them. This review is specifically about the Oceanside facility. read more

This is specifically for the Oceanside, CA sorting facility. This is the second time in three weeks that FedEx has utterly failed at the simple task of delivering as scheduled. The first incident was for a signature required package. I won't waste any time writing an essay on all the ways FedEx completely screwed this up (including actually lying about a vacation hold that I never set), and how many days I had to reschedule because all of us who have the misfortune of being at the mercy of the gross incompetence of the Oceanside management can accurately imagine the scenario. The second fiasco was today. FedEx was telling me that the package was on the delivery truck and that the driver, whose name and photo appeared on the tracking page, would be here by the end of the day. I checked the tracking at 5 p.m., which informed me that the package is still at the Oceanside facility, and that FedEx is "working hard" to schedule another delivery time. Moving forward, I will be communicating with businesses that only use FedEx and informing them that I will not be placing any orders unless they provide another shipping option. Negative stars. This level of apathy, ineptitude, and deceit will not be tolerated in the age of Amazon. read more

Two, do not leave the package propped up against a plumeria shrub, which essentially ruins the shrub. Three, when I called to complain And asked to speak with a manager and I get disconnected, call me back. Four, when I asked to speak with the Oceanside station from which the package was sent, I want to speak with them, I do not want to speak with somebody in a service center in the Philippines or God knows where. FedEx is unable to deliver within the delivery window of their notification making them a completely unreliable service when a human signature is required. Their pick up locations are miles away, making it impossible for convenient pick up, and making their delivery fee for convenience worthless. FedEx SmartPost cannot deliver to the street address where USPS has no delivery, yet they do not tell shippers how to handle residences that have no mail delivery. So when shippers refuse to take a PO Box for FedEx delivery because they do not understand the requirements of FedEx vs. FedEx Smart Post, the undeliverable package is returned to shipper. read more

1- calling in takes a long time to get by the auto voice and if you are lucky, a human will answer in 15 minutes. When you ask for an associate, why don't you just put the call thru, the auto voice can't help everyone, and doesn't need to know why. 2. The driver cannot deliver to a residents that is accessed from the second floor only, because you need an access card to get up. So he leaves a useless call tag saying he was there, AND we were home everyday he tried. He didn't even stop the fourth day AT ALL, just drove by with the package in his truck, so we have to wait all day to pick it up ourselves. 3. The MOST useless thing your company does, is farm out ALL calls to a useless call center not even in the United States. They sound like we are calling the Philippines. There job is simple, tell you whatever is necessary to get you off the phone, and don't pass on any info to your company. OK, Up front this is a rant against FedEx. Twice now we have ordered deliveries from Costco, 160 lbs of dogfood. Twice now there have been delivery instructions included in the delivery orders and twice now they have been deliberately ignored. For those of you who don't know I am a veritable Paraplegic due to my back. Delivery instructions were to come on in the gate and deliver to the sliding glass door because there is no way for me to lug them 200 yards from the gate to the house. Instructions were electronic and on a sign on the gate. Additionally there was a sign on the gate plus signs saying "Gate Opens Out" and do not block gate and BOTH Times FedEx has completely ignored the delivery instructions and all of the signs. I finally found the designated spots. They are very close to the small Outpost building. If you're there to pick up packages you need to read the sign carefully on the lock door. The parking lot is a joke. I can't figure out why it has so many rocks and pebbles on the surface but it literally feels like I'm driving on a gravel lined road. FedEx Driver from this location made a delivery without wearing a mask. This is the 9th time total a FedEx Driver has come to our office building without wearing a mask, first time I was able to confirm from FedEx Customer Support that the driver came from this distribution center. Each time this happens I call FedEx, get the distribution center the driver came from and make a call to our County's Health & Safety Code Compliance to file a report. Code Compliance has confirmed that FedEx is breaking health and safety protocols during Covid-19 when their employees and independent contractors do not wear a mask during delivery. My anniversary is tomorrow. My wife's present is supposed to be delivered today. I was given a delivery window to be at home for my package to be delivered. My package needed a signature for delivery. I had a doctor's appt, but plenty of time to get home before the window of 10:30 to 2:30. I got home at 10:12, 18 minutes early, to find that a delivery was attempted at 9:57, 33 minutes before the window. I called customer support and they said that they will not reattempt a delivery today, nor can I pick up the package at their facility tonight. Everyday my package says it's on the truck for delivery then gets scheduled to be delivered the next day. We are on day 3 now of it being out for delivery and rescheduled. I guess they will bring my shipment whenever they get around to it. I use UPS mostly because they actually bring my shipment and never have a problem. Due to COVID, their package pick up door is locked, so you have to call 760-693-5700 and provide them with your tracking number and they can get your package and hand it to you. I called again after waiting 15 minutes and Brandon's excuse was that my package was at the farthest corner of the warehouse and that they have very slow moving carts. Seriously???!!! This is not the first time I have issues with FedEx. It's multiple times. Every time I order something online, I pray that it won't be FedEx who will deliver my packages. I ordered some running shoes so that I can go run in San Francisco. Selected next day shipping. Of course it was FedEx. It was scheduled to arrive next day, next day comes around, my package is delayed with no reason. the following day, it didn't arrive again with no reasons. Absolutely the worst shipping company known to man, I needed a package by a certain date and it was promised to be there by that date. I was home all day and never once heard a knock at the door, then I checked to see it's location and it said I wasn't home. This specific center is the absolute definition of the worst. Where should I start.. Customer Service: horrible. Not only they don't know the meaning of polite courteous conversation, no body wants to take ownership of any issue. For instance e if there is issue with package not delivered, they would deflect and hang up on you Drivers: complete disregard for how to deliver the packages. Even if you live in an apartment complex and they provide a mailroom with secure lockers for al deliveries, the drivers just leave packages by your door or leasing office. I've had two packages stolen in last month and 8 packages not delivered to correct address Packages: wether you pay for overnight or standard delivery, dont expect your package to be delivered as you expect. As an example, I paid for overnight delivery of a package. It was supposed to be delivered by 10 am Thursday. It was in fedex vehicle for delivery at 142 am, And then I got "no attempted delivery" texts until Tuesday of the following week. How ridiculous. Long story short, do t ever ship packages via FedEx. And I pray your package doesnt end up at this facility for delivery. And if it does, I hope you are armed with a ring camera and plenty of patience to document the delivery because you may be SOL. I wish I could give a 0 rating, and I wish I could give fedex another chance.. just don't see any of that happening anytime soon. P.S. Never had issue with UPS or Amazon from same apartment complex. Package was supposed to be delivered from Oceanside to Escondido, stated out for delivery at 3:00 AM and just received a notification that package won't be here today (5:40 PM) I don't know how Fed Ex stays in business with such terrible service. Had to return something to a center they sent me a pre-done label with instructions that have to be scanned as I was getting gas. I saw a FedEx driver and asked him if I could simply go to the hub. He said yes I arrived at the hub, the Alexa packages, but they don't do scanning couldn't understand the woman, but she kept telling me about an address I could go to. It was posted on another door which I explained was locked wasn't gonna let me in wasn't gonna scan my package. Have to go to another location which I had already been only blocks from when I saw the original driver so now I get to turn around and go back very poor customer service. read more

Don't bother to drop off here. This huge building has no place to park to get to the drop off box. So if you figure out where to park like not legally and get to the box the one tiny box is full of course so you could just reach in and take other peoples packages out. ok, since every other bad review doesn't include the most important thing: THIS IS NOT A FEDEX SHIP CENTER. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I wish at least one person could have written that here or on Google reviews and saved me the frustration. It's a distribution center where all the trucks go to pick up packages for home or business deliveries. There *IS* an unmanned front office where people can pick up packages sent there, and if you have a package to drop off that already has a label, you can call on the phone there and drop it off. HOWEVER, they will *not* be able to give you a receipt that proves you dropped it off. I was mailing back something expensive so didn't feel comfortable just leaving it there (altho the guy I spoke to on the phone they have there was nice) and was so annoyed that no reviews explained this place. 3 stars because I guess it's not their fault but it is annoying that Fedex doesn't do a better job explaining *it's just a distribution center*. And 1 star to all the other reviewers who took the time to complain but not actually leave any useful information for others. I hate you as much as I hated wasting my time going here. read more

I rarely write negative comments but I have reached out to the Neighborhood App with my experience with a Ground FEDEX delivery driver and realized I am not the only person concerned with the lack of professionalism and care with packages especially when we pay for the delivery service. My Ring Camera videoed the driver backing the van into our driveway, opening the back door and proceeded to - Throw, Drop, Dragged, and Walk On our packages. I have posted the video onto the app and was shocked of the support, comments both negative and positive. I'm about training and/or retraining personnel who require such including Management who are responsible for delivery. The heaviest package was approx 35lbs and if the driver was unable to load and deliver, the packages should have gone to another drive who was able to deliver correctly. The reason for YELP, I have called the local Senior Manager, emailed email addresses that I could find, (frederick.smith@fedex.com - info@fedex.com), gone on the customer service website, that I and many others from the Neighborhood app to no success. FEDEX does not make it easy to file a complaint. I have no evidence the damage which happened to the packages were conducted by the delivery person or prior to. I'm just extremely upset with the lack of consideration for my products. I have video and pictures to back my claim. read more

This is by far the worse fedex facility I have ever seen! First, they put my item on the wrong truck, so I didn't get it the 1st day. THEN they put it on the SAME wrong truck the again today! So instead of getting it to me somehow since they screwed up TWICE, I will not be getting it today either. When I read the tracking, it says it will still be delivered today. Good thing I called instead of waiting around for it because they ALREADY KNOW IT IS NOT GOING TO BE DELIVERED TODAY EITHER! So I called the 800 number and they were very helpful and called the facility, even asking for the manager. However the manager is NOT available because he is out making deliveries! But my item is not on his truck either! So now I have to hope that it will make it here tomorrow. THEY ARE AWFUL!!!!!! AVIOD USING THEM at all costs if you want to actually get your item in a timely manner. read more
