Came here for the first time. It is the largest buffet in all of Texas and it is huge. The food isn't spectacular, but for the price, you have a large variety of different foods from fried American and Mexican food, hibachi bbq, Chinese food to include some dim-sum dishes, sushi, and desserts. Overall, for $21 and an empty stomach, this is worth going for sure. Staff are super fast and friendly. Tons of seating areas to include private areas that have a small stage and projector where staff played a movie for us. Lots of parking as well.

Feast buffet is 20.99 for adults on weekends which makes it a good priced option for large families (sodas are an extra 2.99). You pay first and then get seated. The location is spacious and large which plenty of seating. The best thing about feast buffet is their variety. As seen in the pictures, they have food from numerous cuisines like American, Mexican, Dim sum, sushi, seafood, and soups. They have tons of dessert options and ice cream cups too. Their food is slightly above standard for buffets in my opinion. All the options give variety and don't make you tired of the same food. They also have a hibachi and grill section, which is a little disappointing. The meats and noodles always come back a little cripsy and burnt. On top of that, I felt like there was not really any flavor but it was salty. Some people may like that, but for me, I did not enjoy it. I tried to order again but asked it to be less crispy, but they said they couldn't do that. My favorite things were the cheese mussels, the shu mai, and the shrimp that kinda tasted like honey walnut.

(+) Lots of variety of food (+) Very large space and plenty of seating (-) Food is mediocre at best (-) You will feel nickeled and dimed (-) Shopping center is somewhat sketchy I came upon my dad's request. So we drove a ways to Katy to check out yet another buffet (he loves buffets). Upon entering, there is a section in the front where there are some arcades to the left. You enter the lobby area nexty through the doors and you'll see a nice koi pond inside and high ceilings and a seeming horizon all the way to the back where you cannot see further without walking. This is a very large place, no doubt. Besides something inside a casino, this is the largest buffet I've seen, offering Chinese, American, Mexican and Japanese options. To be honest, there is nothing special about the food - at all. I don't recall one thing that was actually good. But this is not a place for quality: it's all quantity here. From the food to the patrons. There was never less than 50 people in line the entire time I was there. While we were being seated, we noticed that the servers will not even let one chair go to waste. Given the large amount of people coming through, I get it from a business standpoint. One very uncomfortable situation was at the end of our meal, the server reminded us that the tip was not included with the check. They saw we were also Chinese and spoke to us in Chinese basically begging for more tips, and thereby pretty much guilting us into tipping more (for very little service btw, my iced tea was never refilled). This end to the night really put me off. If you are hankering to check out the largest buffet in Texas, sure come and check it out. Otherwise, there are plenty of other buffet options out there.

This place is soooo mid for food when I go to a buffet I'm ready to EAT. Barely anything was appetizing. It was either really bland or stale or just overall not tasty. Just lacking a lot of flavor. They don't regularly come by to pick up plates so you're just there waiter for your server with a bunch of plates. It does get pretty packed in there sometimes. This was my second time going.. probably my last. The coy fish are cool though lol

Great bang for your buck buffet with a wide variety of food. You can get some more traditional Asian buffet foods, add some dim sum, a section of sushi, Mexican food, make your own grill, and more American foods. It can get quite busy especially around holidays. I've seen the line to get in go out the door, but if you get there before 12, it shouldn't be a problem. I've probably been here 7 or 8 times and the waitstaff are very quick to clear your used plates and refill your drinks. Just in case this is the only review you read of this place, the one quirky thing that I haven't seen at any other restaurant is if you add a tip when paying as you walk in, they will give you the tip in cash for you to give to the waitstaff.

To start, the restaurant is huge and they have a lot of variety. For a buffet, this is definitely one of the better ones I have been to. It was $19.99 for dinner on a weekday. Not bad but the prices did rise from the previous reviews. Ambiance: It was really nice and the buffet area was well kept. The servers didn't talk to you much but they were efficient. The servers made sure to pick up trash constantly but dont even think about getting a drink refill. American food: The selection is very small but they have chicken nuggets and fries. The dinner rolls were actually really good. Every other fried thing was cold. Mexican food: The food looked really unappetizing compared to everything else so I didn't even touch it. Sushi: They have a wide sushi option. There were a lot of great rolls to choose from. I personally liked the sashimi and salmon. Seafood: The fried fish was not even warm it was lowkey cold and unappetizing. The crab and crawfish barely had any meat in it. I just didnt bother with the seafood. Hibachi: The hibachi was really good. There was great seasoning on the food. It was almost like a teriyaki or sweet soy sauce. I went back to the hibachi two times. Dessert: The dessert was disappointing. I tried the strawberry cake and that tasted like perfume. The vanilla sprinkle cake was okay but nothing special. The fruit was good though but that's impossible to screw up. Overall, lots of great options for all taste buds. However, I only liked one part of the buffet. Everything else was cold and unappealing

Feast reminds me of the mega buffets of yesteryear in Las Vegas: selection for days with incredible variety, affordable for all members of the family, and unapologetically enormous. This is easily the largest buffet in the Houston area (#1). There is so much seating that no one needs reservations. Show up with an army of hungry companions and they'll show you a table that can accommodate everyone in the party. It can get overwhelming for non-buffet goers, but it's also amazing to peruse all the different foods that span from Chinese to American to Mexican cuisine. Let's also be clear: this is not amazing food. The abundance is the sell, the affordability is the desire, and the feast is the experience. At the end of the day it is a glorified Chinese buffet but on a much larger scale. Everything from the sushi to the ribeye steak to the desserts are going to be mediocre at best. It is however, the most comprehensive buffet setting in the area with the added benefit of giving parties both large and small the freedom of choice and variety. This is all about indulgence, so stack up on the mac and cheese, enjoy the unlimited refried beans, while scarving down all kinds of Chinese American specialties. Heed caution on the Mexican side and don't expect very much from the sushi or desserts. Inevitably one will find something that they can enjoy. Service is minimal, but this is to be expected. I would recommend getting two plates at the same time and beware of the arcade area just before the doors. Posing near their fountain is an easy photo op and parking is just like their food: plenty to choose from. ___________ (#1) Prove me wrong by taking me to an even bigger one. Please?

Service was efficient and friendly. This is a family friendly establishment. This is a pay first then eat place. The food. There is a lot to choose from and honestly if you don't find something to eat there is definitely something wrong. Sushi, fried food, stir fried food, steamed food, dim sum items, vegetables, fruit and desserts. It's crawfish season and right now the crawfish is fresh and delicious. They are well seasoned with a little kick. I will be back.

Per my experience, this is the largest Chinese buffet restaurant in the Greater Houston area in terms of total number of seats and total number of dishes. Ingredients are always fresh and cooked perfectly with right amount of seasoning. Waitresses pay good attention to customers and are always quick to remove emptied plates from the tables and booths.

Round one. All pretty low quality but wide variety
    Danny L.

Be warned! Don't be tricked any waiter/waitress here when it comes to tipping. Our waitress tried to get me to pay 25-30 percent tip! She wrote down the "suggested" tip of 25% or 30% tip on top of the receipt, offered to calculate it for me using her phone, and then awkwardly stood next to me while I tried to question about the high amount with my family. I told her "I'll bring the receipt to you" to get some privacy, but she lingered around me like a giant pimple on picture day. She did not leave. When I calculated 20 percent, which I thought was more than I should have paid, she jokingly suggested I round up. My goodness that was unpleasant! The quality of the food is on par with what you expect from a typical Chinese buffet. They had huge variety and all your standard Chinese buffet offerings plus more. I do appreciate how this one has raw salmon (they call sashimi), but found the serving utensils to be a disgusting. During a Saturday night, the entire place felt a bit over stimulating. If you don't like crowds and lines, come during an off peak day or hour. The parking lot is dark and feels a bit sketchy. I think they need to add more lighting. Overall, it's amusing to see the huge variety of food at one buffet for Houston's standard, but don't be persuaded on your gratuity if you encounter the same waitress.

The exterior is just as beautifully decorated. It's clear that chef-owner Lori Pope poured a lot of time, heart, and soul into both the menu and the store's design. The hostess was super friendly. As soon as I walked in, she gave me a warm and smiling greeting. The menu was a feast for the eyes. It had a lot of lovely pictures of the different dishes. I was ecstatic to see that there were so many vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Also, most of the dishes can be requested to be made gluten-free. Big plus. You don't order at your table, instead you go to the counter in the back and make sure to bring the sheet with your table number on it. The gal at the counter who took our order wasn't as friendly as the hostess but she was polite enough to inform us about the 15% charge. The food came out very quickly. Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. I am happy there's a locally owned and created brunch place like Harvest Kitchen and will definitely be back to try other dishes. Note: There's an automatic 15% service charge to every order.

Took 10-15 minutes to be greeted after being sat. No big deal, I get it. Santiago was great. We did the mystery mimosa experience which was fun! We go to order our food and BOOM!! This is where they get you. It was all a lie. A very deceiving menu written in a way where you think you're going to get oxtails and jollof rice plus appetizer and dessert for $55 per person. Because that's a great price, not really a deal, just a great price. WRONG. Santiago had to clarify that it was $55 EXTRA ON TOP OF $42 PER PERSON. SO $97 PER PERSON FOR OXTAILS AND JOLLOF RICE, AN APP & DESSERT. RIDICULOUS! TOTALLY DISHONEST AND DECEIVING. Write it as $55 additional per person, so everyone knows what they're getting into before they reserve their table. Because Santiago admitted everyone he served that day was shocked at the additional cost. Not wanting to ruin my wife's FIRST Mother's Day, I brushed it off and still continued with the order. Appetizer: tequeño & empanada. Bland, came out cold and after our entrees came out. Entrees: Oxtail & Jollof rice. I loved it. Flavor was great. Just wish there was a lot more. For $97, you expect to have 6-8 large oxtails and a side of rice. What i got was 4 very tiny oxtails and a full plate of rice!! Peri peri chicken & jollof rice- flavor was nice and smoky. But again, for $97, you expect more than 2 avg size leg quarters and a full plate of rice. Dessert: They were out of key lime pie by noon. I saw the cheesecake, it was a thin plain slice, so we opted for their seis leches cake. It was not good. It was not soaked enough, very dry. The reason the score wasn't lower was because service was great, the entrees tasted great and they gave each mother a single rose and Mother's Day card which had a pin in it that said best mom ever. Which made my wife's day even that much better. Thank you Chef Casey. But I don't think I would visit again solely based on the deceiving menu and small portions that are not worth the additional cost.

I had been watching this one being built for a while and was especially curious to try it since this location has a full bar, which adds a really fun twist to the traditional coffee shop concept. I stopped in for lunch and decided to sit out on the patio which ended up being the perfect choice. The atmosphere was relaxed, bright, and inviting with a nice open feel that makes it easy to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in and everything moved quickly and smoothly. I ordered the guava mimosa and it was SO good. Light, refreshing, and honestly the perfect daytime drink. For food I had the chicken avocado wrap and substituted the chips for truffle fries and both were SOOOOO good. The wrap was fresh, warm, and packed with flavor and the truffle fries were absolutely worth the upgrade. I love that this location keeps the cozy Buzz and Bites feel while also leaning into a slightly more elevated vibe with the bar and patio seating. Between the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the great food and drinks, I can already tell this will become a regular lunch spot now that it is so close to our office.

Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow. We sat for about 15-20 minutes before even getting water, and we had to ask for basic things like a fork and napkins (which we ended up grabbing ourselves). The biggest disappointment was the food timing: everyone at my table received their meals, and mine didn't come out until about 20 minutes later. By then, I didn't even want it anymore and just picked off someone else's plate. What I did try from my friend's dish was decent, but the overall experience definitely wasn't a highlight. There were a lot of staff members standing around, so it was confusing why everything took so long. Not somewhere I'd rush back to, but hopefully they improve the service and timing because the atmosphere had potential.

What a great dining experience! This was my first time here. I was heading into heavy rush-hour…read moretraffic, so I decided to avoid it and stop to have a good meal before heading home. This restaurant definitely aims to please. I was being very specific about what I wanted for my ribeye steak tonight; waitress Jessie was awesome and listened carefully to my requests. And then to make sure that I was absolutely happy, she brought Chef Kenneth to the table to discuss what I was looking for. Kenneth returned from the kitchen with three beautiful-looking ribeye steaks and we discussed which one would give me the best dining experience. He does some of the butchering himself so he knew exactly what I was looking for. I ended up being served the most fabulous Wagyu steak I've had in a very long time. Unlike the other steaks that can have a seasoning on them, the Wagyu is just salt and pepper and then is served with a beautiful compound butter slathered all over it. They make that butter in-house and it has wine and shallots and bone marrow and other wonderful stuff. Trust me, it's amazing! I ordered extra on the side and poured that all over the top of the steak. Delicious!! Sometimes little things count and it was served with grilled onion that was tasty. I could have had a side of mashed potatoes or asparagus, but I decided to treat myself and try the mac-n-cheese instead. Half of that food was my lunch the next day, so I left enough room for dessert, where my choice was the apple pie bread pudding with cinnamon roll ice cream. That was nice and moist and I enjoyed it. Overall, this was a really great dining experience and I'm so glad that bad traffic gave me the excuse to come here. Will definitely plan a return visit!!

Huge wrap around bar area so I'm sure on game days its a good spot. Love that they have purse hangers on the booths!!! I got the jalapeño ranch smash-burger snd it was good! 2 patties (thicker than typical smash so I was happy with that), fried jalapeños and the fries are battered and perfect!! Mozzarella cheese stickers are really good - rectangles not sticks. The bbq flatbread was not great - too much going on and bbq sauce overwhelmed it all.

They are incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, consistently professional, and genuinely kind in a way that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. What really stands out is how they create an atmosphere that feels like home. They remember people, they pay attention to the little details, and they make sure everything is just right without you ever having to ask. Whether it is a quick stop in or a longer visit, they make every experience smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. They are true superstars behind the bar and a big reason to keep coming back. That said, the entire team deserves recognition as well. The staff on later shifts and different days carry that same positive energy, professionalism, and consistency. It is clear this place has built a strong culture where great service is the norm, not the exception. All around, an outstanding group, but Czaria and Dani are something special.
