Missing many menu Items. Last night, we went for dinner and noticed about 1/3 of the regular menu items were completely absent: - Korean Chicken - Salt and pepper rib-lets - Mongolian Beef - Sweet and Sour chicken Yet the price of the Buffet remains the same. Went for lunch and would have turned around at the door had my parents not been treating us. We were shown to our table and were pretty much disgusted at the condition of the seats. They were extremely cracked and really gross. We managed to find a table with no ripped up seating. The food was average best. The carpets were worn out and are in extreme need of replacing. I am a firm believer that if the front of the house is dirty or in disrepair then the back of the house is way worse. Food wasn't fresh barely any dishes not enough variety will not be returning. It was pretty disappointing. I thought it would've tasted better. The food had a weird taste to it. The food I've tried has been tasty, which I can't say of the much nicer looking Chinese buffet a little further east on I-10. But if you're looking for atmosphere, this isn't the place. know that I only chose one star because I couldn't choose 0 this place was so horrible racist to the fullest I decided to have a night out with my children and we was racially profiled by an older woman. we don't deserve that treatment we was trying to be so polite even tho she was clearly treating us different. She said we needed to pay for our food before we eat and we agreed, during the payment process the worker walked away to help a couple that just walked in I couldn't believe I watched her seat them and didn't ask them to pay. My husband and I stopped here for a quick lunch which turned out not to be so quick because we ate so much. We've eaten at China buffet restaurants in many places over the years and our expectations were low. What a nice surprise to find a vast array of delicious food. I expected the fried food to be disgustingly greasy and fried in stale oil, so I took only tiny servings of a couple of dishes. Another surprise: the oil was fresh and they were well-drained. The dim sum dumplings were disappointing. Both dough and filling were dry and tough, and fried shrimp still had legs and shells?? I generally avoid dessert, but did try a small square of coffee flavored cake. I would have devoured the remaining third of a tray if I hadn't already been so full. Overall, the food we had here was similar in taste and quality to much of the food we had on a China tour ten years ago, and we thought our lunch was an excellent value. read more

Cockroaches cold food bad atmosphere dirty filthy bathrooms!!!!! i can't believe that the host was still trying to sit us in the booth (even after i said cockroach !! OMG!! )with a live cockroach at the head of the booth!!! Crawling on the table & fell on the floor. Upside down. WTF!!! We've been to this restaurant 2 times this being our 2nd the 1st time we thought "huh.. maybe they're short staffed or just had a rush of business & that's why the floor has a lot of food on it & tables are not wiped off." & Again that same day we thought "maybe there dishwasher is broken that's why there's food stuck on the plates and utensils." Our waitress did bring us out clean dishes but after waiting for a while. I remember thinking "huh that's weird I thought I put on lip balm not pink lipstick as I sipped tea from a coffee mug." Looking down at it. Come to find out that cup was dirty & most likely the contents from the last person was dumped out & mine poured into it. This mug hadn't even been cleaned. Here I was drinking from a dirty cup with the other persons lipstick on my bottom lip. I SCREAMED!! & complained I was about to loose my Mind and we were about to leave. you don't understand..the things I thought of ugh I was so disgusted. At that moment the manager walked over and told us our meal was free and invited us back again. We reluctantly accepted & thought "well at least their trying to fix the problem " I said. The last strike!! (Leading up too the cockroach I spoke about in the beginning of this post.) We walked in about two weeks later and spoke with the manager maybe... He was just having a bad day. I don't know but he was very agitated & irritated I tried to break the ice but he seemed PISSED! He then proceeded to walk us to a booth on the way I told my husband "Jon! look on the floor" there was baby roaches swept in a corner with the broom leaning against the wall. The only server they had walked from back there towards us as I started screaming OMG!! A cockroach crawling on the freaking table and fell on the head of the booth upside down. They said " no no it's okay we clean you sit & eat buffet okay" we responded " Ohh Hell No!! and left." I wish we could give them a -negative -29 & close them down!!!! the one star is not! I repeat not!! positive it's the lowest rate you can give . If this is what we saw/witnessed what insects or vermin do they have crawling around in the kitchen that we don't see !!!!!! No. Not just no, but "H3LL NO!" We had a bad experience with this establishment from the second we walked in. First off, the lady who seated us was terribly rude. We walked, in she grabbed two sets of silverware and said l, "go," while directing us to our table by waving her arms. I guess my boyfriend wasn't moving fast enough for her so she again said, "go," in a louder tone. We ordered our drinks and of course already had an uneasy feel about the place. After taking our drinks order, she started loudly speaking in her language to a co-worker across the building. At this point, we should have just left. The building certainly has a dirty appeal to it but the buffet made it seem even worse. There was dropped food on the floor all around each buffet table, splilled food all over the buffet table and then came the "crawling of the roach" on our second trip to the buffet. I really, really wish I could have gotten a picture of it, but I can tell you it was headed right out of the salmon. Yuck, this was the last straw, I immediately felt sick. We then just paid for our meal and left. The food we did eat was normal Chinese buffet food, the selection was above average although the temperature of the food lacked several degrees. It's been a while since I've had to give a restaurant a bad review that was this bad. 1 star!? Several ROTTEN items in the mix here, my tummy is seriously on the brink, my mouth feels like it has a stinging sensation from RN CANNED peaches that were FERMENTED! :( my husband got sick. The tapioca pudding at first taste tasted yummy then as u took another bite I tasted the fermentation and sourness of the TAPIOCA PUDDING! :( how the f*k do you let tapioca pudding go bad? I'm thinking they used bad milk to make this stuff? The banana pudding was bad, it had clearly been made with old bananas and then has been mixed in with more water to extend it was TERRIBLE! Me gusta! It's way better than the buffets in my hometown. Much much more decent than the buffets I have ever been to. When I walked in I was like whoaa this place is empty--hardly any customers. There was a huge selection of foods to choose from. Ribs to chow mein to salted shrimp to crawfish to cheese wonton to salmon to all sorts of food. I was a little bummed out that there wasn't a huge variety of sushi. It was just like the typical california roll =( The spring rolls were decent. I loved how they had real ice cream. Hard to be very descriptive here since it is a Buffet. The food is acceptable, by no means great but then again I do not know of any 'All You Can Eat Buffet with remarkable food or service. Went here for lunch today with coworkers, and there was a giant roach crawling on the wall. Half of us were completely turned off and didn't finish our meal. We called the girl over, and she went and got a broom to knock it off the wall then swatted it a few times before picking it up with paper. When we were leaving and stated that we were too disgusted to finish our meal, we were told that the roach was not in our food so we still had to pay. I understand that places get bugs, and I'm definitely not out looking for a free meal, but do something to try and make it right. All they could say was I'm sorry.
