Dined on a Sunday evening around 5. The restaurant was very busy, but we were seated promptly. The variety of selections were plentiful. Some examples include Sesame Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, Cold Boiled Shrimp, a sushi station and a hibachi station. The restaurant occupies a former Golden Corral. The restaurant itself is very clean and the service was very good. The food itself was just okay, nothing to rave about. Heard about this online so stopped by. Went on a weekday so didn't get the crab legs option (only available on weekends). The interior looks new even though the exterior of the building looks like it's been here for awhile. Pretty large place with a good selection of sushi, regular Chinese buffet staples like general Tso's chicken and hot & sour soup, plus a chef to make hibachi, a chocolate fountain and ice cream for desserts (by the sushi). Pretty decent place places especially if you are looking for a deal most ayce are now around $35 or more per person me and my buddy went we ate well good food and really good habachi and sushi for about $16 each.... definitely a good place to take the kids if you have some and don't want to break the bank.... Went for lunch and for 2 adults with drinks, it's about $33 without tip. It's pricey, I would say with the food options they have at that time. With that said, you could definitely eat your money's worth, it just won't be that much variety. The employees are super nice! Our drinks were always checked on and our table never had a big pile of dirty dishes - service was kind and efficient. My favorite lunch dishes are the lo mein, crab rangoon, green beans, beef and broccoli, and black pepper chicken - super smokey and you can definitely taste the heat! The pork skewers were also notably juicy and well-seasoned. All of the sushi (except fried - those were really cream cheese heavy and I'm not a big fan of cream cheese in my sushi) were pretty good, better than I expected! Overall, a really cute place for friends, family, and children to eat at. There's sushi, salad bar, soups, hibachi, a nice dessert selection, sad beige diet foods (pizza, chicken nuggets, rice, French fries) and a seafood lover's dream that would make Bubba Gump happy: crab legs on Saturday, crab cakes, seafood mix, crawfish, mussels, cold shrimp, hot shrimp, and of course your Chinese food selections. I thought it was pretty busy. We aren't big buffet eaters so I kind of was hoping of *some* Texas comfort foods like bbq, meat loaf, mashed potatoes, tamales, enchiladas since Texas Buffet... People complaining in the reviews about weird things. It's a buffet not a Michelin restaurant. I am not a buffet person in general but birthday kid (88 years young) wanted this and it was pretty good. A kid of buffets are bland but I felt like the majority of items were seasoned nicely. Foods I liked: coconut shrimp, fish (we think it was flounder), sautéed mushrooms, green beans, chicken wings, fried shrimp and of course the crab legs. They refilled things fairly quickly so everything was fresh and hot. The hibachi was good too. I had him add more seasoning but it was exactly what I expected. I passed on desserts bc I'm not into sweets and we had a cake. I heard they had a lot of variety including ice cream. The service was great especially since we were such a large party. Wonderful buffet with lots of choices! I really liked the sushi, seafood and hibachi. Prices are reasonable and differ from the weekend and lunch & dinner. Wondering when going out of business went there today to eat three quarters of the things on the buffet were cold I know the health department would not let them stay open. This is a well stocked seafood restaurant. All the seafood you can eat at a very reasonable price. You name it, they have it. Shrimp, anyway you want it and as much as you want. Fried, boiled, stuffed, shrimp scampi. Crab, whole fried crab, king crab legs, fish, fried, broiled, any way else. Plus they will cook beef or anything else in front of you. Great food, great service and great ambiance. The food is very tasty and plentiful. They keep the serving areas clean and stocked. Our empty plates were whisked off the table quietly and quickly. The entire place has been decorated with calm colors and tasteful artwork. I would go back to this restaurant every day if I could afford it. Nice Chinese buffet. On Friday and Saturday nights they have snow crab and it's pretty good. They have a nice selection of food and so far it's been very fresh. Sushi's also fresh. It's definitely worth the price. An extra bonus is they play country music. Only in Texas! read more
