No thrills, nostalgic food. I had a good time! Came in on a Friday night. They were busy, but we were greeted promptly. While we were getting settled, our drink order was immediately taken. Drinks came out within a couple of minutes and then we got to the good stuff. It's a smaller buffet, but they have a pretty good selection including some other items like pizza, sushi (they even had tuna and salmon sashimi), a selection of chicken wings and of course a dessert bar. Some of my favorites were the bbq spare ribs, fried rice, chicken and broccoli, and a spicy (not really spicy, just in the name) stirfry chicken. Hate I forgot to take photos of the actual names. In terms of parking, it's located in a strip center, so there's plenty of options. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They are also super fast. The speed at which they cleared those plates was crazy. I always saw someone attending to the buffet lines either checking for refills, tidying up, or just moving things around. Overall, the restaurant itself was clean. Again, if you're looking for a no-frills type of spot, this is it. I truly felt like I was back at the mall as a teen. Sweet-and-sour sauce is watered down the soy sauce was watered down. The pizza was hard and the chicken was sticky.

Their food variety isnt that big but their food is delicious. I wouldn't recommend for people with a weak stomach because the last couple times I've been there I get a bit of diarrhea. One of the more impressive buffet's I've been to--with lots of food choices, plenty of healthy options, and sushi (California rolls, sashimi and regular) as well. Huge buffet that includes a stir-fried section, noodles, sushi and sashimi, and dessert, there is something for everyone who likes Asian cuisine. FOR YOUR SAFTY DONT GO. THIS PLACE HAS NOT PASSED INSPECTION SINCE 4/26/24 the owner refused to show me at first until I threatened to call the cops. This used to be my go to spot in past years for first dates and anniversaries because the quality used to be amazing for the price. But in my last few years the quality has drastically decreased upon each visit to the point where the serve raw chicken and try to tell you it was cooked properly. The sushi is definitely better here than most budget buffets. Beyond that, you're looking at another Chinese buffet with a few unique items. I find the quality of food here slightly above other buffets I have been to. Service has been great, drinks always filled and used plates quickly taken care of. Buffet selection is not huge but plenty, and perhaps why the quality seems better. One thing that lacks are toppings for the ice cream. Went in again on the Sunday evening before the Memorial Day, and the restaurant was packed! Gotta wait about 30 minutes for a table but the time was like 8:00 - 8:15 PM already while the restaurant was closing at 9:30 PM. People just kept coming in for the good foods! I'm not sure why so many people were here, except maybe the price. the food was in no way great. the place smells like grease traps.

It was pretty terrible. Most of the food was cold, chewy, & dried out. The only thing fresh on the buffet was pizza, but I didn't come to a $15 Chinese buffet for pizza (I could have gone to Cici's for that). I provided pictures below, the food looks good from far away but zoom in close and notice how dried out it is. The food had to of been sitting there for an hour or 2 to become that awful & all the pans were full to the top when I first arrived (full of old food). This was at 5:30pm on a Friday. (Now the eStar location in Willowbrook I give 5 Stars, they are amazing. Even different/better items on the buffet. Im shocked at how drastically different 1 location can be from the other). You must wear gloves & a mask at the buffet, but there was a lack of social distancing occurring. At the front of the dining room there is every other table "reserved for social distancing" but they sat no one in that area. They sat certain people in the back corner of the restaurant rite ontop of each other, with no space. Im not paranoid about being in close proximity of people in public but it's annoying when businesses want to act "extra" with all these crazy rules but is obviously only doing it for show read more

Though their selection seemed large at first, they didn't have orange chicken, sesame chicken, or teriyaki chicken, as promised on their menu. Overall, the quality of the food they did have was lacking. Only thing they didn't manage to fuck up was the soft serve ice cream. I also got an upset stomach after eating here! I regret ever going to E Star and will never be coming back. Overpriced and underwhelming. Go to Panda Express instead. It's cheaper and better quality! read more
